Sakura (Part I - Hanami) The sakura represents the beauty and fragility of life, serving as a visual reminder of how precious and precarious our existence on this plane is. Hanami, the Japanese tradition of enjoying the transient beauty of the sakura's flowers, is practiced during the tree's two week blooming period and generally consists of having outdoor parties beneath the sakura. This set is my expression of hanami through a lense of deep house. Dreamy, atmospheric tracks made for drifting and enjoying the spring air, reflecting on beauty and blessings. This is Part I of a two part series. Part II will capture yozakura (hanami at night), with a more somber and mournful approach.
