Sakura (Part II - Yozakura) The sakura represents the beauty and fragility of life, serving as a visual reminder of how precious and precarious our existence on this plane is. Hanami, the Japanese tradition of enjoying the transient beauty of the sakura's flowers, is practiced during the tree's two week blooming period and generally consists of having outdoor parties beneath the sakura. Hanami at night, or yozakura, is enjoyed in many places throughout Japan, aided by paper lanterns that illuminate the sakura. This set is my expression of yozakura through a lense of deep house. Dreamy, somber tracks made for drifting and enjoying the spring air and reflecting on the ephemeral nature of life. This is Part II of a two part series.
