Deliver Us From Evil
from God’s Holy Mountain Broadcast Hosted by Evangelist Martha P. Davis
In this sobering and exhortative message, Evangelist Martha P. Davis proclaims the “golden privilege” of belonging to Jesus Christ and calls believers to contend earnestly for the faith in an increasingly corrupt world. Drawing from the Book of Jude, she warns that ungodly influences have crept into the church, twisting God’s grace and denying the authority of Jesus Christ. She reminds listeners that salvation is a call to holiness, sanctification, and separation unto God—not compromise with sin. Evangelist Davis emphasizes that forgiveness through Christ also carries the command to “go and sin no more,” urging believers to reject deceit, lust, and rebellion against God’s truth. She highlights biblical examples of judgment—Egypt, fallen angels, Sodom and Gomorrah, Cain, Balaam, and Korah—to stress the seriousness of unbelief and disobedience. The sermon concludes with a call for believers to remain vigilant, prayerful, and rooted in truth, building themselves up in faith and the Holy Ghost, while standing ready for Christ’s return and trusting in God’s power to keep His people faultless before Him.
