We like to call it the Supernatural Hour and now our host Hey, welcome to the Supernatural Hour. I'm your host Raven. This is Mark. This is Doc I'm in it and I'm Chad and we are coming to you today from the attic of despair.

Is that what we're calling it these days? The attic of despair. I haven't called it that for a while. I'm in denial.

We used to be in the dungeon of doom But now we're in the attic of despair, so we have moved up a few floors Yeah, that's right too. So gas prices are through the roof So Emmett and Rogue are zooming in and we have a special guest with us today His name is Brian James and he's from Global United Paranormal Foundation We're actually gonna have him discuss why he's here in a minute. Brian. Would you like to say hello?

Oh? Alright, there we go. So we'll have you chat about what your organization is doing here in just a second But let's go to Chad with some business first. Hey the business is brought to you by Castle Photo Art and Castle Nature Studio If you're looking to get Photo stuff done check out with check Castle you can access his website through the events paranormal.com website He's at the bottom of the main page and go to links there Awesome, and then we went to Bettini Bettini was awesome.

It's always awesome. It is so haunted. I mean, it's a it's a school that was built in 1901 I went to grade school there So maybe that says I'm super old. I don't know But not only is it an old school in and of itself in a place where there's a lot of Native American activity But then they've turned it into a museum and so there's a ton of old museum stuff that they brought in trigger objects everywhere And it was a fun night.

Yeah, very active. Very active. We had a gal get punched in the stomach We had one gal get attacked by attacked meaning you're like punch sounds like a good time She had another gal get like an attachment briefly. We had to take care of that We heard knocking we there's reported cold spots One of our investigators brought her husband and he felt like something was touching the back of his neck And so they took some pictures and you can see like two wispy wisps kind of In the area of his neck.

It's I'm gonna post these on TikTok So you have to come to TikTok to see us, but it was a very active night. Yeah, it was a incredible every room I went in I felt something. Oh, yeah, I've never been at a building that was active literally in every room every room There's a room with a couple pianos and the caretaker there says that there are that they hear piano You know the piano just playing randomly they will not play the piano for me won't do it go slow No, and she's a piano teacher. They're probably worried about being critiqued.

I'm like one note one note. No But it was a really good night a really good turnout from You know the people that got the tickets and everything else there but eat meat We've done that twice now and it's been it's been a phenomenal venue We will be going back probably won't be for a while But because we've done to him in the last six months, but there's demand there's people that just really like that venue It's great cool old building and then it's got like some interesting basement stuff You go down there and you kind of creepin back underneath the building It was I didn't go on this last one, but I won one before and it was fascinating Well, and not only is it old but it's on top of the hill and it just is very picturesque It's very prominent prominent very commanding. I mean you just are drawn to it Yeah, and if you're listening to the YouTube version of the podcast will put pictures of the petitini school Up as we're talking about this. Oh that school that you're seeing above us on the YouTube version that will building that is the petitini school in Basin Utah and we're in the process of getting our May Event we're making some phone calls so as soon as we have that we'll put it up on the website So if you miss petitini and you're akin to go go hunting give us a few days All right, Rogue, right We had a residential somewhere.

I've never been before You sound great. Do we celebrate? Oh great. Okay.

It sounds like a ten point you're a little muffly, but you're on zoom So, you know, um, sorry So we headed out to Tuaila County in a snow wizard I think I want, you know, it was a snow wizard five minutes into the investigation But what I had to do was part of the adventure. Oh my gosh on the way home at one point I said to chat I'm like are we on a 80? That's like a major freeway people that crosses the country and I don't know And I said well the GPS says we're on 80. So hopefully we're actually on 80 That's really good when you're using the GPS to determine if you're still on the road And then I had a similar situation it was definitely a Home but that was a fun investigation to pull up and to have him sitting outside in his truck with his children Because he has not spent the night in the house That's an interesting beginning to an investigation.

I thought right they'd he'd leased it and I think he said he'd had at least Like for three weeks, but wasn't living in it not until we got it investigated Yeah, I mean you could tell that he'd started to move in because the kids bedrooms looked together and there was some stuff piled up in the living room But there was not any full-on moving in when we were there. No, it was a great house. Yeah, it was a great house I love the layout Yeah, it was built in the 70s it had some of the old-school wood paneling downstairs and a little bit of shag carpet in a couple places Oh, you little throwback but very cool, but the layout was really nice. They had a nice big it was kind of a Kind of going like a by-level split You go up the stairs and then off of the main where the kitchen was and kind of the Eating area in that top level they had a an extra room that they had added down for a great big family room down It was really nice.

So he had been complaining about knocking sounds and just kind of a feeling of dread What was it in the very back that you guys went and checked out there was something clear on the back that he hadn't really been back there Well, he said when he went downstairs There was an area of the house and he wasn't testing this per se But he wanted to see if we picked up on the same things he picked up on and there was an area in the basement that he wouldn't Go into and I think he said he had some friends that wouldn't go back there And I what I found was interesting is you know, we kind of be lying for this area And he's like yep, that's the area, but I really like what Rogue found back there Rogue, do you want to tell us what you found? Well for me, I really liked the fact that it was an empty house because for me it was really easy to just kind of I don't know I connected to this house very just easy and back in that corner I found a little old lady who I felt had lived there and I felt hadn't realized it passed and she was back there doing her Counting and doing taking care of her family. This is a group in the basement like a storage room, right? That corner, cold storage.

Very cold or the house. Back by the furnace area. Yep. Yeah, and right over there I'm sorry.

I'm going to talk over the top of the fountain system. I can't tell. Yeah, and there are also one of our other members found a portal right there So then it was interesting to me that she was kind of dizzy and I mean the lady with dementia Because I don't think she really understood all of the characters that had attached to her that had followed her that was also in that house because there were many I think we found 10 different spirits in that house. Yeah, and there was There was three portals we got those clothes and then we talked to a fellow.

I think we named him Jason Wasn't his actual name We just called him that so we didn't call him And he had mentioned that he was trying to get the homeowner's attention because he wanted to cross and he was he was agitated Because he was trying to get help and no one was really listening to him because he wasn't he wasn't evil or level Under anything but he was he was agitated because he wanted help But I think because of that agitation and I don't know if it was just maybe his character too But the little grandma back in the storage room didn't like him because we asked him if he wanted to cross and he said yes And and we crossed the grandma too and she we were like hey grab her hand and pull her through and she was having any of that He's like no, thank you. I will just trust him. I think we had someone else take her through didn't we? We did we had someone else that was there grab her that she trusted because there were about 10 like you said 10 11 spirits And it seemed like most of them wanted to cross over and so I said hey when you see the light run through it So you speculate that Jason was the one that showed me as he went through yeah way past yeah Because I was standing there and you actually felt this I felt him kind of like like somebody's just walking up behind It just gives you a hard shoulder right right and and that's what it felt like that I didn't physically yield But I felt actually like push forward into the circle and you actually said you know you asked me if I stepped forward Yes, I just step it for you But I didn't physically move and I couldn't reply to you at that second because it was kind of taking Everything I had to kind of scan my ground right so I had those good of shows yeah I had my eyes closed and you know so obviously you can't see anything but even when your eyes are closed There's just kind of that you know You can feel if someone comes and then there's a little bit of a shot a little bit of a shadow You know and I thought because I knew you were standing to my left and I thought that you would walk forward a couple steps And when I because I thought you're gonna come tap me on the shoulder or something And so I opened my eyes and when I looked you weren't where I was at the same moment that he liked to just nudged me Shove me from behind and just walk right forward into the light Right and that's why I like I meant did you just move and you're like no and then I open my eyes I was like getting No, he's still where I left me I could feel several of them like they were kind of like standing behind me looking to see what was gonna happen You know, so I felt like there was literally like at least three standing right behind me very close You know just kind of looking over my shoulder over right so yeah, so also in the home was a female spirit She did not want to cross and she so the homeowner had his youngest was a year old and she just kind of wanted to stay and hang out with Baby and she hadn't cost any trouble and he said it was okay for her to stay there because she was acting more as a protector spirit And then he had had a medium come out and tell him Previously that there was something to do with a box in the corner of the yard and you know through some yes No questions again.

We determined that there's actually someone buried there You know from a long time ago not like in the 50s or anything nothing nefarious probably We decided it was her or was it maybe a Native American that was there now I think we found that it was a family member that had been made it was an earned The box was a little earned the box wasn't earned but it was buried in the yard So that was it was a good investigation and we had Denise and Candace and Denise's mother What's Denise's mother's name? I Laura Laura I was gonna say Mary and I know that's the other one that often comes with that and Mary was there too I was right there too. Yes, okay. Yeah, so we had we had quite a group out there that night Right and then we had a type three up in a bedroom and Emma You got some really cool SLS footage of that sitting on the nightstand and reaching over yeah This thing was up.

He was kind of He was interacting with you He was kind of toying with you like you'd ask you to touch that cat ball you had on the bed there He'd like being way over just touch it to jump back to the headboard of the bed Yeah, you know just be real skittish like that But yeah, that was pretty intense yeah, and then we decided you know to get rid of him obviously because you don't leave type three's and People's homes if you can help it fair enough so, you know, we're like, okay Let's get rid of this so we go in and I salted the door so that it would stay in the room and then because there's two windows in the room You know salt the door will go open a window and kick it out. I couldn't get the windows open and I'm like crap I have just sealed the demonic entity in this child's room yay me Playmate great, but we were able to get a window open enough that we could shoot out But I was like oh, no to self make sure the windows open before you salt the demon in the room Anyway, so no that was a good residential though. We actually have another one coming up in south Jordan So by the next time we record we should have another residential for you all right. That'll be fun All right, Brian Now you're ready to tell us about your project.

I'm excited about your project. I think it's going to be fabulous First of all, I'd like to say what a heck of an investigation y'all had it was one of our better ones. I think I would have loved to have been there to see that Wait, anytime you could make it sir. You're right.

He's in Washington. So it might be a bit of a drive but Anytime you're in Utah jump on in so yeah, tell us about your project. I'm we've talked about it a little bit and I think it's it sounds awesome Well, my project is an actual directory of nothing but active teams So that way, you know, if you have three other teams in Utah and you want to go tackle asylum 49 Now you just collaborate with a few other teams go down there and have yourself some fun But the main reason I did this is if you're in Utah and you get a call from somebody in Delaware Needing help with children. The first thing you're going to do is look on the web to find some sort of directory Oh, you're gonna find that directory on the web but that web is web directory is going to be completely outdated Yep, that's the experience I've had as I've looked up things Yeah, I went from A to Z And yeah, there was hardly any response Yeah, one of the interesting things that you mentioned was that one day you sent out a thousand emails and you only got about 50 responses back Yep, I actually I don't know if anybody else has ever done this but I hit my limit for sending emails for 24 hours I have not done that.

Can't say that I have either And uh, the teams that did respond back I made sure you know that they had a facebook page of website You know youtube something that shows you know their team and everything and you know it The teams that we could find stuff on you know, we called back and You know every team on there has Para unity and they want to be united if you want Now nobody in front nobody in back everybody side by side As well confirmed active teams Exactly now. Did you have any other criteria for these teams aside from being active? Actually, yeah Um, what global is doing right now is we're doing a series of investigative events down in Arizona And we're putting The money we do earn into the foundation. So that way we can start traveling the us doing investigations And we're going to be filming for a few different, uh, what do they call those the streaming shows?

And we actually want the teams that are on this directory when we hit their state to meet up with us for a big investigation Oh, that'll be a lot of fun. Oh, absolutely and Utah There's a couple of places in Utah. We'd like to hit Oh, go ahead One with a graveyard and then the other one was in a silo Yeah, silo 49 we need to go back there. It's been a while, but it's every time I've gone there.

It's been crazy active Never been to a silent Oh, yeah, we need in fact the so right now it used to be half You know haunted house slash ghost hunter haven attraction and then the other half was a working nursing home, but that's not a nursing home anymore The whole thing is open. Oh, so I get the whole thing closed down. Yeah, I haven't been there since it's been opened up You know for the whole thing So now ryan, I think you did mention to me when we chatted a while ago that you're also looking Mostly for groups that don't charge people to is that correct or did I misunderstand? These teams that I have selected do not charge their clients a single dime as it should be And anybody that charges money their their company should be wiped out That being said we have two aspects of our group and our wasatch investigative society for paranormal Studies is our non-profit group where we do that and go in and help people in their homes like the residential investigation We just talked about and then our advanced paranormal group which did the petite neat investigation where we had 34 Attendees come we do charge for those but that money's then used to help fund The websites and all of the things that we do and our grads work for the wisps Those are never charged people that need help or never Yeah, the way I describe it to people is like if you call us and you invite us to you It's free if we invite you to us you got to pay tickets to the venue Absolutely the way it should be.

Yep. So now if people You know if there are ghost hunting groups out there Is there a web do you have a website set up yet where they can go and find these other groups or is that still in the works? It's a ww w dot united parafound dot com So united parafound f o u n d yep dot com so united parafound dot com And in the youtube version of this we'll have that url on the video Right and then um brian we if someone is interested and feels like they meet your criteria and would like to be listed Is there contact information on that website? Absolutely.

I do believe so you can call You can call held in mackinville On there and you can call myself and uh Our other partner Jason graham Or you can just simply email us and you know we'll have ourselves a good old conversation. Awesome Okay, so if they want to get a hold of you or find a paranormal team in another state It's united parafound dot com and we'll have this up when we so you can see it on our youtube version And then if they want to email you what's global united paranormal at gmail.com And we have a com a comrod a comrod what does that sound like? I don't know what a comrod is a comrad Comrad where we're busting out the soviet speed pounds easily wings They're invading Ukraine so we got to start using it. It's pudence fault all pudence fault I'm talking like they do on youtube.

You know they just have to mispronounce in other words We have a comrad in really long paranormal names. Yay. It's not just us Okay, so brian before we move on to our main topic. Is there anything else you want to tell us about your group?

Yeah, just in case I forgot the website or did something wrong with it because I just Got on it the other night to check it out because it's brand new you can go to uh facebook.com search global united paranormal foundation join the group page and on the announcements the website right there as well Oh awesome. Awesome. Okay. So our main topic is brought to you by oteos.

It is a fabulous kind of gourmet mexican restaurant In linda newton and the last time we podcast that I said we need to go there We haven't had a chance We almost did but they had actually closed for that day to do some remodeling I was worried that they were shut down and we had we were really excited when we found out that it was just for a remodeling for the night And it was open the next day. I'm actually friends with the owner I texted her. I'm like what the heck you're up close to her? She's like no just just remodeling.

Yes. Anyway, so go there. It's fabulous Um, so our main topic today has been a while since we've done a serial killer and you might say to yourself Hello paranormal podcast. Why are we talking about serial killers?

Well, this is kind of a Two-fer. It's a two-fer because not only is it a serial killer, but her house is also crazy haunted based on the fact of what all happened there It's not gonna be a super prize. I feel like those two things probably go ahead and go ahead and get it Sometimes when we've done serial killers in the past it's been a little stretch to try to find that paranormal bend This one does not have a stretch. So it's Delphine Lallore and you know in Utah if you ask me the creepiest place in Utah to willa All the creepy stuff is in to willa asylum 49 is in to willa magnus out that way.

There's a lot of questions right magnum That just speaks for itself. Love you magnum. Um, but so and some gristmill. There's some cool places.

Yes Well in the blizzard and the blizzard our blizzard house is out there So um Delphine and that's where we got the rock and the rock the rock house with the the weird the best rock. Yeah, so Um in the United States, I think one of the creepy places is norlin's or not all of them But uh, yeah, this is a Delphine in her creepy house. I'm just gonna say new Orleans the whole time just to irritate Way proper new Orleans. Um, yeah, so so Delphine let's get into it But everything's haunted there anyway, so right?

Good start right okay, and just for the record. Um, I usually type up my notes. I hand wrote them today And um, this might be really exciting. I don't know half of what I wrote.

So yay You found more and more like me all the time. I like it It's like hang on. I got another word. Okay, Rogan Emmett found a soundboard and so there might be some intermittent random That was the a part from the children right?

I was trying Doc's looking at like what the heck was that? We're hosting a rave after the podcast Yeah with 27 carol Okay, so um Delphine will worry. I'm sorry that is fun to say and as we were watching some youtube videos Some of the some of the hosts on those youtube videos were like this was a fun name to say I noticed she went by like five or six seven different names. So you're like right well She was married three times every good serial killer has at least a few aliases.

I mean come on Right and a number of marriages I don't know what we'll get into this a little more as we get into the podcast But she didn't start having issues until she was married to her husband and then it makes you wonder about her first two Yeah, but the first two also died. I know it's always the third one. It's like what's anyway? That's bad news for me You're the first one Brian so you're safe or no you're if you die mysteriously How much I get our connection So Delphine was born Delphine McCarthy in I've seen several different dates.

I've seen 1787. I've seen 1775 Um, I've seen March 17th and I've seen March 19th. So Regardless her birthday was just a couple days of March 19th Yeah, so I saw a myriad of different things But basically she was born in New Orleans when it was Spanish, Louisiana And her family was high-profile European Creole as I think is how they described her family and quite wealthy quite wealthy quite high-powered She actually had an uncle that was a Trying to read my handwritten notes Like a governor of one of the provinces and her cousin was actually the mayor of New Orleans at one point So very high they are stuck with say that of New Orleans at the time. Yeah, you know very high social status Um, like we said she actually married He was a Spanish fellow.

Yeah, he was like a major. He's in the military major general And they had a daughter and then he died about four years later. They weren't married for very long And then she married again and I think that second husband was French And they and he also had quite a bit of property And you know they had between them a couple of plantations and a number of Homesteads and things like that and and what was it something like between the two of them something like 60 slaves? Yes, quite a few slaves and then they had four children together They had five children together.

So she had a total of six children and then spouse number two passed away And I think they had been married for about eight years give or take And then um several years like he died in 1816 and then she remarried a fellow named dr. Leonard melari in 1825 and they are the ones that you know move to New Orleans and build this fabulous house. I've a little bit of house envy. It's a beautiful home Have you seen this three stories on the corner And And from the outside you only see you know, it looks like just kind of a building that goes up three stories But in one area you can see the doorway and it has an inner courtyard with gardens and everything and terraces in so you can overlook the garden Very cool, right and it looks a little different now than it did originally because there was a fire We'll get to the fire, but still it's a beautiful home And I would love to live there except for the curse well, and there's been yeah, there's been a number of different owners and What it's been used for a number of different things too I remember what and she known for selling slaves as well Uh, probably she she was quite quite the lady Yeah, her slaves and they'll probably talk about this a little bit after some things that happened her slaves did go on the market I don't know that she was selling them or the the government was requiring her to get rid of some That's what I had read at least at one point that she had some slaves that she was accused of you know, for properly treating the slaves that she And she has to get pretty bad to be accused of in properly treating slaves.

Yeah, so they're now we have to remember that at the time slavery was normal You know, we can't judge it by by how we view things today at the time It was okay to have slaves it was legal they had laws in place to prevent mistreatment mistreatment gross mistreatment And when she married this third husband, I think he was involved too But they had to have somebody from the the government actually went to their house twice to say you got a layoff Yeah, the first time the acquisition was made they got a clean bill of health on it that the guy came back and said no everything's Okay, and there's not you know, there's not an issue Reports continued to circulate and they came back again and found a number of things and it was legal to discipline your slaves They just couldn't go above and beyond a certain point. You know, think of it like your children You can discipline your children. You just can't you know, eat them to bloody pulp. So you know, the s s d c f s gets a little I'd be there.

Good. You look so when you chain your cook to the stove. Yeah, that's bad. That's bad.

Okay, that's bad Okay, so one of the one of the instances One of the stories is that dulphine and apparently she was a very beautiful woman and when I say apparently I mean you can see pictures of her online And she is very she's pretty and a socialite I mean major parties at this home major things going on that You know, it was a a social gathering place in New Orleans Right and before I get into the story about this little slave that she had She put on a very good public appearance in public. She was very nice to her slaves and in public She was you know, very respectful As most serial killers do right Whipping people and get your BTKs or like almost go to church And all these great things or well something that's really fascinating about where I live Spokane, Washington the green river killer actually has a house up on 34th Avenue on Do you drive past it like every week? I was doing tours with two dog city tours. Yeah, we'd have a serial killer night and drive around Spokane and We've had our our couple of serial killers here.

Yeah, Ted Mundy up in that area for a while. Yeah, we've got we've got Ted Mundy Yeah, we've actually here for a while Yeah, we share that in common seems like everybody had Ted Mundy Florida Yeah, he got around so back to dulphine She was having her hair brushed by a little they stay about 12 year old little slave girl that was in the home And as she's brushing dulphine's hair She caught a snarl and you know kind of pulled her hair a little bit and dulphine lost it And as the story goes grabbed a whip and chased this girl And the girl just you know is running away and there's actually eyewitness accounts from neighbors that said they saw this little girl just flying across the yard And I'm assuming flying is like running really fast Well, she went up onto the third floor and then they got on the roof and then they went up climbed up got on the roof And they don't know if she was pushed if She just fell because she's running but she fell off the roof and they said that behind her dulphine was chasing her with a whip Right, she was trying to avoid the whip And they said this neighbor that saw this happen said that they saw the people pick this little girl up and they said the way her body Reacted when they picked her up. She said I think every bone in her body broke three stories And then that evening the same neighbor witnessed them carry the body out Dig a hole in the backyard and just buried her in a hole in the backyard So doc a three-story drop onto onto pavers. Yeah, probably hurt probably hurt probably Yeah, sounds that sounds like a lethal fall checkpoint Yeah, lots of broken bones.

I'm sure So wait, oh go ahead. Yes. Did you know that american horror season three is based on that mansion in this story? Oh, yeah, absolutely There's a lot of things based off this crazy lady.

Yeah, I've seen one of the uh the ghost shows has been there too Yeah, I think it was um ghost adventures Ghost adventures I've been there The house when you look at the picture of it is like classic french quarter style house from what I could tell I can talk a little bit about it, but I can imagine you know you're gonna fall and there's not much that's gonna catch you Tell you hit the ground. There's a big one. It's pretty it's blocky But it has all that iron work and all that stuff around it Well, there's the iron work now, but if you look at some of the pictures they were showing There wasn't that iron work that iron work about Kenny wasn't there really that was a new edition. Ah interesting.

Yeah, new probably Very new very new right, so So going back to Chad when you said about the slave that was chained to the stove That was one of the things that Delphine would do and this one particular, uh, I think it was in 1834 she had Delphine had Chained the 70 year old slave to the stove and she was the cook she was the cook and Rather than be punished because punishment went going upstairs and when slaves went upstairs, you never saw them again ever Literally there were as well. You probably talked about a little bit later with the fire and what they found after the fire you're gonna cover that Yeah, okay, so Rather than be punished by the lollories this cook started because she's chained to the stove She started the house on fire because she'd rather die by killing herself with fire than be taken upstairs on punished That's what I remember right that fire was in April of was it 1930s? Yes, it was 19 18 18 34 18 34 when that happened I think I said 1934 you were right so I think maybe get something like that Yeah, so you know They'd been they'd been to the house several times with some complaints of you know gross mistreatment of the of the slaves Uh, we touched on this a little bit. She actually had her slaves taken away But her very influential family was able to buy most of them back get them back to her and so they came back Somewhere online I read that she actually freed two of her slaves, but they didn't talk much about that They use some fancy word.

I didn't know what it was. I actually had two out of 60 ish Yeah, but not good odds after this fire. They actually went in and it um You know search the house and they went upstairs to this attic where when slaves went they never came back And that's where this whole story just gets really violent and really sad They were yeah, they went up there and they found um mutilated slaves They found slaves that had you know big iron bands around their neck and they were chained to the wall um some of these Bands around the neck were spiked so they couldn't move their head. Um, they found slaves hanging Uh with their art and limbs broken.

Um, those are the ones that are documented So there's some other stories that they think that these other stories might be Imbalanced embellished nice toys of words, Chad I'm a writer what can they say? But some of the stories say that there were slaves that had opened headwinds Um and that they there was one where they're doing you know, they're homemade lobotomies, right? Right with dole uh, what I understand like basically dole Rods basically this is not a surgical thing. This is a torture thing right now her Mr.

Lilarie was a doctor. He was a physician. So he could have been Yeah, experimenting scene what the human body can put up with that was part of it He was actually access to all the good tools. That's right.

Mm-hmm And he was actually questioned you know earlier about the treatment of the slavery and basically what he said was you know You just need to mind your own business keep it on the side of my business Which I thought well, that's a very callous answer So some of the stories were open wounds with maggots, you know, festering in the wounds They said that they would break the bones, let him heal and naturally break him again They did say that there was one gal that her bones had been broken and set in such grotesque ways to reheal that she looked like a crab when she walked Um, they said there was a man that had a hole in his head and they had sewn a wooden spoon Into his head Um, he had the handle sticking out so they could stir up his brains Um, it's almost makes me sick to talk about this Yeah, that's my appetite for dinner. That's for sure So they said that they found one of the one of the slaves who had passed away Um, you know what while doing an autopsy they had found human and animal feces in her intestines and her mouth had been sun shut Within feces in the mouth and then sun shut Yep sounds like torture. Yeah, and you know, and so they they took these slaves out And they actually took these tortured slaves and put them in prison not because they did anything bad But just someplace to put them someplace nice someplace better Yeah, prison. Oh, that's so sad But they said that they put these prisoners on display and it wasn't to make fun or be little These slaves it was to show what had happened the cruelty show the cruelty of these people And they said within just a couple of days they had 4,000 people go through and view what had happened to these poor slaves And it enraged the community understandably so I would be enraged And then what would you do if you were in rage?

Well, I would storm her house and burn it down. And is that what happened? Yes, I wonder. Ah Yes, they and they looted it.

They took everything out. They looted the house. They burned it They did your lanty justice and Her husband and her left northlands and went to Paris. Yep, they disappeared Um never to go back to northlands.

No one knows quite where she's buried. Some say that she's buried in france Some people say Someone said that they found like a little plaque kind of buried in an old Cemetery that says she's there and it's like if she buried there did someone just put up a marker like a memorial Yeah, I probably wouldn't go too fancy on that one. Yeah, not draw on the page. She got away spot three pretty much Well on this air.

Have I helped you account for it? Yeah, I think she'll she'll account for it The karma is that what you said karma? I think god won't be very happy about it So there's ample reason for all of the paradox. Yeah, so yeah, so there's some pretty good Reasons for paranormal stuff going on there.

And there's been a lot there's some interesting youtube videos about it about people that have lived in the house since Um, there's one other woman that was there when she was a child in the in the 70s Um, and you know the things that have gone on there and she has Since gone back and kind of made tried to make her piece there and it's she's not having it. It didn't really work Um, you know, it kind of wigs her out Just just different things that go on the house and and the fields I think it's a I think now you can you know, it's been made into apartments and I think since then you can actually The last I heard it's a private residence and they don't let anybody is that what it is now? I was wondering because not I don't know within how long but Previously it looked like it was like a bread and bread and breakfast kind of thing where they could go They it's actually after they burned it the mom They you know, it was sat empty for years and years, but then it finally got rebuilt And it was because it's in a pretty prominent place. It's on a corner If you're familiar with New Orleans, which I'm not I've never been there It's 1140 Royal Street, right just right in the french quarter and I have been there I've been by there.

I didn't realize the significance of that specific building But I've been down in that area and I know they talked about it You know as we went by on the on the New Orleans tour. They mentioned it That's definitely on my bucket list as New Orleans. Yeah, so when I saw the pictures like yeah, I've seen that So it served as a home for wayward boys And I'm sure that's gonna draw on some energy It was an apartment building. It was a furniture store in 2007 Nicholas Cange bought it No, that's scary.

And well the funny thing is it says he managed to sign One website said he managed his finances as well as he acted so it actually got foreclosed on him That was a burn. Oh, I didn't say it. I just read it. Yeah, so national treasure was fine It actually wasn't too bad.

So yeah, it got foreclosed and now it's a private residence And so it says tourists are not permitted to inside Um, so after all kind of some of the carnage they actually unearthed two bodies Um, one was buried and one had been thrown into an old well and this was more recently Uh, I think this was during when they were doing reconstruction on the place Yeah, it was a bit in the 1800s. Like a hundred and something because they did also find a lot of skeletons in the floorboards back in the day also Yep, don't make daisy style. Yeah, and so um some of the ghost stories that are that have gone on is Uh, they say that a lot of people that have been there through the years whether it was the home for boys or apartments There were a lot of stories of hearing mony hearing screams Inside the mansion people heard the dragging of chains Um scratching on the walls which makes sense considering what's going on there They also said when it was happening people outside would hear You know screaming and groaning too, but things are actually happening then which is why the authorities got called in Um, many many people have said that they have seen a woman with long red hair Standing in various areas of the mansion glaring at them and Delphine actually had long red hair. She was a red head Um, I think her father was Irish and her mother was French so she had that Irish fiery red hair Um when it was apartments, this would have been in the 1870s and a lot of dock workers lived in these apartments And there was a story of a man a dock worker.

He came home and he went to go upstairs to go to his apartment But he says there was a and just in his words There was a big black man that was chained to the stairway and standing in front of the stairway And this dock worker said, you know, hey move funny to you know get up to my apartment and the guy wouldn't move And you know, there's a discussion would move wouldn't move and the dock worker went to push this man out of the way so he could go home And his hands just Right through it right through you know got cold chills and then and then this man was gone And so um that was kind of frightening um, it was a girls school for quite some time and At the time it was a girls school Dozens and dozens and dozens of accounts of these girls getting pinched hit and scratched and when they were asked, you know, who did this? The answer was always that woman That woman that woman was the answer that they would give them There was a gallaby watch on a youtube video who I think she lived in the area and she said that one night She was walking past the building and she saw a little girl sitting up on the roof Probably lea that was the name of the little 12-year-old that was brushing her hair And this lady won't walk past that building at night anymore. She refuses to walk past it I'd be out there with a camera every night if I saw that right. I know I'd be like what?

Running over there is they're running away. Did you just call us a weirdo? Yeah, okay because because we're all about your weirdos. Anyone listens to this podcast.

You gotta be a little bit weird, right? That's okay. I'll take it. Those people go running in and We're the ones that are like just owning it.

There's a demon in that room. That's where I'm going Let's go. You gotta be a weirdo to do stuff like that. That's all I'm saying.

So oddly enough I know this will surprise everybody here, but it's considered a cursed building What? No way And just you know besides the stuff that went on there or because of the stuff that went on there They say that all the owners of the building have had some sort of bad thing happen to them They say mostly bad financial luck, but they've also Exactly because apparently his financial power was as good as it was acting Nick if you're listening we love you except for Raisin Arizona. That was a terrible movie It was awesome. No, that was the worst movie ever.

Okay. Um, not your libre. That is the best movie ever See what I mean guys Back to the house other owners have had bad health issues or they've gone insane So it's an amazing house. I would love to own it, but not with all this stuff all the baggage Um, so rogue I had a list which you will appreciate this list.

We got more lists. This is like three times in a row Well, this isn't a numbered list. It's just interesting. It's not it's not the top 32 of something There are no I still sorry, that's okay.

They're ravens mirror rules. Yeah, 17 Okay, I remember Chad having a list of rules that we had to pass around and take turns reading. No, wasn't that awesome? So don't give me a pass.

Okay. No, this is um, just stuff in In life based off of this wonderful lady ready not a list but in bullet point format. It's not ordered You can enforce with any order. You guys are fired.

Okay. Um, I guess this wax museum is now closed I don't know if it's close because of covid or if wax museum should start a thing anymore But the local wax museum that used to be there in New Orleans, New Orleans had We have no we have no listeners anymore. Okay. We are talking to ourselves at this point Um, they had a lollary exhibit which in this wax museum exhibit it dis it Displayed kind of like if you'd gone to the prison to see these slaves Yeah, they had they had an exhibit the wax museum So she has been the character in many horror movies and books and board games.

I'm in just a few There's a board game board games. What's your house the board game? No, so the board game is called evil baby orphanage Oh That has bro too. Yeah, I make the damn Ouija board.

I mean why not So evil baby orphanage. She's a main character in that. So if you need an idea for a christmas present, there you go Amazon, I'm sure What Ryan, sorry, I think we talked over you I'm actually intrigued. I might look it up.

I think docs looking it up as we speak Yep, so there's a book by martin cage with a kay no relation to nicholas It's written in 2015 called demonus and that's based off of delphine Um Emma I think you mentioned this but cathebaits played her in 2013 the third season of american horror story It wrote did yeah, that's oh ron good. Someone did she's amazing. She's just amazing. He's just amazing at this And then there's a computer game called dead time stories Um, she's a main character in that and then we're probably this list that I found online.

There were probably 15 other things I just wrote down a handful. It's not available on amazon. Um, probably because Secret pillars on there. Come on.

We can't do evil baby orphanage on amazon too. Probably At the same time. eBay you find it on eBay how much is it? 1499 for the uh, is it like a card game?

What does it look like? There's like an expansion Box all the goodness. Okay. We'll get more information.

Hang on. So 1499 1499 and you two can play evil orphanage Yeah, baby orphanage. Okay. So um last thing about delphine is I kind of wonder her first two husband's died Did she kill them or did they just die because it was late 1700s and it was the thing to do Well, it's still the thing to do but younger back then right?

Um or you know was it was this something that she Uh was just inclined to do but didn't realize it until she married the third husband and it sounds like the third husband was in on it You know, why isn't he as vilified as she is? Um, you know, did he introduce her to some stuff and then she just ran with it? Uh because when she married him when this started happening she was somewhere between 42 and 50 depending on when her actual birth year was Um, so she'd gone quite a while before she got too infamous So, oh it's an interesting she's an interesting lady and I'm glad I won't not be her at church right now All right. I found the premise of evil baby orphanage.

Okay, let's hear it So you are a nanny and you go back in time to pre-habilitate evil people as babies And your job is to turn them all into valorinas and accountants and things and not to make not serial killers You gotta make your opponents babies turn into serial killers. So I'm assuming that being a rose probably a baby in that game And you gotta try to keep it from becoming a serial killer It's a part game. So you can play that and then go right to carts against humanity perfect Ignite night figured out Uh, someone was smoking a little too much pot when they came up with that idea. We're gonna time travel pre-habilitate murderers.

Yeah, okay, there we go I'm making a horror movie That's gotta be it we'll just find this game on eBay. So we're gonna order it You might be making a plan now. Okay, guys. I'm like me.

What a good team activity. That's right. That was a Right man. Come join us.

Yeah. That was a yeah, yeah when you talk we will go to a silent 49 and we'll play evil baby orphanage Yeah, not a sponsored Right if you want to sponsor us though, um, you could reach out to us at advanced paranormal calm Uh, also there we've got all sorts of swag. We've got Tapestries. We got shirts.

We got mugs. We got all sorts of stuff No, because my new I have a tapestry now. So my new fixation is notebook. You know book Um, yeah, I can also follow us on the youtubes and tiktok sounds like we're gonna be posting some evidence In fact, I will post that tonight before I go to bed.

So by the time you hear this it should be up All right, check us out advanced paranormal calm Hey, Emmett. Do you have some equipment to chat about with us? Yeah, just uh, have I talked yet about using a hearing aid Do you know here? What did you say real time?

It turns out that uh If you take your regular evp recorder and just use the beer buds with that while you're using it Sometimes you can hear the evps in real time as they're happening It's going, you know through the recorder and then immediately coming out of your ears instead of being stored and you're hearing it later Is that just like regular headphone earbuds or is that yeah? Anything just as long as you're just you're monitoring the evp recorder while you're using I was thinking we were gonna have to go to like a miracle here or something to get it I just stand up again a $100 set of gb off amazon battery powered. They actually look like This usb earbuds for they heard a de-tuther Um, no, they just um, it's just a little amplify just a little audio amplifier in your ear. Cool So you don't go have to hook it up to anything what what I want to do is use the hearing aid itself You know, we don't need the recorder.

This is this is more like a spirit box. I guess So I'm wondering if any of our listeners have ever that we're hearing aids have ever heard of voice. Maybe that they could place So you're basically just listening in in real time just listening in real time. The EDP might be right producing Now when caveat is these things are very sensitive and if you when you turn the button you will hear everything in the house So I wanted to try them at the TV the building was just way too noisy with everybody in it the echoing at the yeah, we had quite a full house that night Yeah, it's echoing so to our listeners whether you listen to us on in podcast form or on youtube If you have hearing aids and you've investigated we want to know if you've heard stuff that they've heard it Yeah, anything that shouldn't have come over that cool.

Let us know please and if I do I will let all of you know awesome That's awesome. That's bringing the elderly to Little remark you said earlier Oh, I'm sorry I've elderly I forgot About the elderly in the hearing aid. I'm just not funny. I've asked it Cut that out.

We'll put that joke on the website later folks when we remember it But it trust come back it was hilarious Okay, yeah, that's it. I don't know this is going to the podcast but we start talking about hearing aids I took care of an old man one time who mistook his hearing aid for a cashew He chopped it up and swallowed it and he had to get scoped to pull all the little fragments out We're just right here and I just that is a memory that has been burned into my mind It's a little old man who thought it was a cashew and just chopped it up I guess using cheapies for this is fair bet, but some of these things get pretty pricey So like it was a nice one somebody really getting broken hearted over it Don't forget to cashew don't show up. No, no, they're black. Anyway, that's good This one was kind of more of a fleshy color.

Tissue. We color right next to his ball of nuts This is a black one. So if it's a nut it's burned Before the jump drawer. I want to remind you all about supernatural hour swag at advanced paranormal.com So that is the play to get your paranormal and supernatural swag shop there with all the cool And maybe hearing aids in the future Maybe here we go How awesome is that sound it's a raven get it?

We'll take it Okay, so paranormal junk drawer has been brought to you today by the hub theater We had a really awesome investigation there with our haunted teddy bear and we had questions about that by some of our patrons Wondering if the teddy bear is still at the hub. They were asking that a petite the other night I don't know. I'll have to drive high and I have to go take a look Was it a bear? It was a bear and it probably would have said boo because it was on a descent Okay, so if you remember if you've been listening to us for any length of time We have talked a little bit about a lady who was dating a pirate ghost.

Do you remember? Did she get married to the pirate ghost? Oh, yeah, so but this is I think this is a different lady This is this is different same pirate ghost weird you brought this up because literally last night. I just saw them on tv Do you remember what her name was the pirate ghost?

No, but she her pirate lover looked like Jack Sparrow Yeah, so this is a different lady. We may or may not have talked about her If we have we've got updates if we haven't this will be all be new so so we're gonna start in um, December 11th of 2017 um at the time she was 27 years old her name is amethyst realm and um she dates and has had With trying to keep a family friendly They mean by relations. Yes. She's she's had relations with at least 20 ghosts In the past decade, so she's a little bit about ghost hussy.

Yes a ghost ho ghost ho she's a garden tool Um, but she says her ultimate plan is to get pregnant by one of these ghosts. She wants to have a ghost baby Yeah, I'm not sure how that's gonna work. Well, you know, you better always just go to one of your old orphanages and adopt yourself one I'm sure she go to an evil baby orphanage She wants to she wants to carry one. So, um, she had her first encounter We'll call it that with a ghost about 12 years ago and she vows never go to go back to men again Now here's the thing you know the phrase once you go black you never go back I've heard that.

No, I know like that's new to be you know it is not You've heard that before once you go black you never go back. Well, she's she says once you go ghost You never go back and it's like I'm sorry. It has to rhyme The whole point is to the rhyme. Don't you go ghost you want it the most See that's better.

Mmm. Really deserves the baby or You have a sound for that on the soundboard a boo You gotta be growing a son sorry. It's not we need to get that here where we can hook it in. It's not zoom out See I had once you that was when you do a ghost then you want toast yours was better You know you don't smoke a cigarette after you have some toast after yeah, that's lame.

Okay. Um, so I made brian laugh brian laughs at my jokes. That's why brian's invited here So she talks about you know the passion with the ghost right um she says she felt the ghost presence Um, and so you know she liked just up in lingerie But she thinks she thinks that she maybe came on too strong because it left so she backed off and he came back and Um, she said there was pressure on my thighs and breath on my neck don't worry. It's PG.

We're good Um, she says I just always felt safe. I had sex with the ghost you can feel it. It's difficult to explain There was weight and a weightlessness physical breath and stroking and the energy as well. So that's how you get pregnant with the ghost but Um, they fell deeply in love.

She met this ghost from australia fell deeply in love They dated for quite some time. They got engaged. You have to have a ghost visa or ghost passport You know I she didn't go quite into that depth But this lady has done a lot of research into phantom pregnancies and so you know she is prepared Um, she says doctors say her sexual encounters could be explained by sleep paralysis, but she shut that down. Okay.

She shut that down Couldn't be sleep paralysis. No, no, no, no, no She says I don't think so because my first ghost used to follow me around the house and lure me in so I was definitely awake No sleep problems. She does know phantom pregnancy by definition is not an actual pregnancy, right? It is Stop.

It's not a ghost baby. Just stop. You don't get it. What do I know?

You're just a doctor. You don't get this. So, um, the interviewer asked amethyst if If having relations with the ghost ended in the big O apparently they do just just in case you wonder for her anyway Sometimes everybody gets the big O but she does um, she can tell the difference between the different spirits that she Oh, so she gets around with different spirits at least 20 Okay, I just am amazed that she thinks phantom pregnancies result in phantoms Would that possibly make her a ghost to tooth? Oh, I get it.

We'll go with ghost to tooth. Yeah, um, she has joined the mile high club with a ghost just in case you wonder So she's been to Denver Okay, so so here we go. So here's here to answer your question She says I've been looking into phantom pregnancies and believe that a phantom pregnancy is actually a real pregnancy But you have a phantom inside you rather than a human body. That's how that works.

Right. Okay. Do they have a code for that? Yeah, it's called psychosis I've used it for similar cases She says phantom pregnancies are quite emphatically not what amethyst thinks they are It's a medical term describing an abnormal condition in which signs of pregnancy such as nausea and abdominal swelling in president present in a woman who is not pregnant She disagrees.

It's an actual thing. What does every doctor that graduated from medical school now? So that must be a code clear It's about to come out. You're not gonna see physically Right, so but there's sad news.

So this information came from 2017 and 2018 and I thought you know, it's 2022 I need me an update four five years. Yeah, what happened? So I looked it up and as of 2020 that's as recent as I could get Um her fiance ghosted her. Oh, she got ghosted by the ghost.

She got ghosted So that doesn't mean had sex with a ghost that means they left you yeah ghosted ghosted by the ghost So, um they got engaged and after they got engaged he kept disappearing Go figure he's a ghost And started partying too much Like a a ghost floating ring or an invisible ghostly ring on her finger Um, I didn't look up the ring actually I was I was too focused on the pregnancy or I could understand that you know, I was a little distracted Um So yeah, so she fell in love with this ghost named array in 2018 He is the one that she joined the mile high club with because as they flew back to the us they joined the mile high club Um, you know, he disappeared Right So she thinks they went to Thailand Okay, as part of their engagement, right? And she thinks that he fell in with a bad crowd and he started becoming very inconsiderate and Didn't care about romance anymore. He disappeared for long periods of time and when he came back He'd bring other spirits and the other spirits would stay around for days. She thinks he started doing drugs and partying Ghosted parties.

Okay. Yeah, it's probably hanging out at the lunch. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Yeah, so Um, they're the whole song we sing in that place. Right. So they called the wedding off because she couldn't handle those drugs and partying Um Had to have the gifts returned. Yeah I'm pretty sure he fell into a bad crowd who smoked him from that one and probably doing some ghost came Right.

So yeah, so you know, I don't know if she hasn't if she's met up with the new ghost We don't know about it yet. She's not pregnant yet that I know of however, there's a song There's a song There's a song called amethyst realm And it's sung by the claypool lennon delirium. That's the name of the group And um, I'm not gonna read the words. It's an ode to amethyst realm.

Yes, but um, I want read the whole song eat just google it Just google it, but they have a word I referred to the word as the big o right they call it a fangasm. Oh They use the word fangasm in the song in the song. So Yeah, there's your doctor for today like this kids a friend Gasm So Ian see what you learn when you're hanging out with us Never Basically he's like guys.
