Wow, hey, I'm on a clarity there, USA Today. The world is getting crazier. People are acting more and more insane. The end of the world is tomorrow to tomorrow to tomorrow.
There's only one thing to do when the world is really hard. Listen to Basil and Constance, they discuss this week's news and events through the lens of Bible prophecy. You are listening to the name for our new tour. You're listening to Canary Cry News Talk.
It is August 4th, 2021. This is episode number 371, Delta plus minus. My name is Gans. Your favorite Asian provocateur for Christ.
Welcome to the podcast where we bring in the best news, which is the gospel message of Jesus Christ while reporting the egregious with a well-rounded, bit of a grounded take on world events. And Basil will join us at some point, I think. He is trying to find internet access. He's trying to find an entry point from his timeline as a time variant.
And once he does, he will log in and be a part of the show. But until then, I'm just going to have to run this thing solo. The show must go on. So here I am.
Just to start things off, I'm a bit sad today. I don't know how much I can say yet to respect to the people that are involved in the thing here. But all I have to say is F cancer. That's all I'll say.
And let's just get into it because I don't want to dilly-dally around too much. We got a time limit. As usual, we're always running out of time, right? I mean, we're how long has it been since I've been live here?
What? A couple minutes? Six minutes since I hit the go live button? So yes, time is a ticking.
And every minute goes by. You can't get it back, folks. They'll make the best use of it. All right, so there is a lot to discuss today.
There's a lot going on in the world, especially pertaining to the COVID and the delta variant and delta plus. And a lot of the show today will be focused on that topic. I know we touch a lot of different things like transhumanism, technology and genetics and the great reset and cyborgs and AI, the cyber pandemic. And it's all part of the big thing here.
But I think today we're just going to spend our time on a lot of the things going on in the world of COVID, the vaccine, the mandate and all of that. So to start things off, I can't do this episode today without starting things off with the Blazio. You remember Mayor de Blazio. Mmm, indoctrination.
That Mayor de Blazio, he's back. He's doing a press conference, or he did one yesterday. He started things off talking about the keys or the key, I guess, to New York. Five million New Yorkers have gone at least one dose of the vaccine.
Five million New Yorkers. We are now at this point, we dreamed of and now we're going to go farther. We're going to go farther with a smart mix of incentives and mandates because it's all about vaccination. Not saying now, last week we got to climb the ladder.
We're going to use every tool we've got to fight the Delta variant and to end the COVID era once and for all in the city. A couple of things to point out already there. Five million New Yorkers, at least one dose, climb the ladder. What is he building, the Tower of Babel?
A ladder? Are you climbing? And then, you know, the numbers he talks about, all the numbers we dreamed of. It's just weird to talk about compliance of, you know, my body, my choice, except for when it comes to this pandemic.
They just dreamed of these numbers and they're so close to it. It's just a very strange attitude to have. And one that breeds a lot of skepticism, I think, in people that are looking at this objectively. And for those of you who are taking a peek at the show notes, we do get into a few stories today, what we will anyway, that are sharing the sentiments of the vaccine hesitant crowd and how, number one, they're being shaped in public mainstream media, but also a couple of objective analysis of such people, which I came as a little bit of a surprise to me.
But let's continue on with what De Blasio has to say here. That means more and more vaccinations. So today I announce a new approach, which we're calling the Key to NYC Pass. The Key to New York City.
When you hear those words, I want you to imagine the notion that because someone's vaccinated, they can do all the amazing things that are available in this city, this is a miraculous place for literally full of wonders. And if you're vaccinated, all that's going to open up to you. You'll have the key, you can open the door, but you're unvaccinated. Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate many things.
That's the point we're trying to get across. It's time for people to see vaccination as literally necessary to living a good and full and healthy life. The Key to NYC Pass will be a first in the nation approach. It will hold on.
Hold on. So he's talking about this Key to New York. And well, first off, of course, Key's in general are very important symbols to especially Freemasons. According to Dr.
Oliver in the book Landmarks, page 180, the Key is one of the most important symbols of Freemasonry. It bears the appearance of a common metal instrument confined to the performance of one simple act, but the well instructed brother beholds in it the symbol which teaches him to keep a ton of good report and to abstain from the debasing vices of slander and defamation. So, of course, I'm only people who wrote the book Lost Keys of Freemasonry, and he talked about all the different keys there. So, yeah, shiny key to access society and that whole notion of, oh, you can't participate in New York life unless you're vaccinated.
This is all the stuff. Crazy fringe conspiracy theorists were de-platformed for in the last year and a half here. They were saying not just me, others, Basil, many, many others in conservative circles, even some Republicans out there in the public eye in terms of politics. They were all pointing to this idea of, hey, vaccine passports, not a good idea, echoes of Nazi Germany, all that stuff.
But here we are. You can't participate in anything in New York anyway. And he's very, de Blasio's very adamant about setting the standard. I clipped some of the parts out here to save time.
But de Blasio goes into New York's leading the way, California's right behind. And the whole world will follow our example of creating a system by which people must comply or not to be able to participate in society. It's a dangerous precedent being set here. I get across.
It's time for people to see vaccination as literally necessary to living a good and full and healthy life. You need a vaccine to live a good, full, healthy life? Come on. That's ridiculous.
The key to NYC Pass will be a first-in-the-nation approach. It will require vaccination for workers and customers in indoor dining, in indoor fitness facilities, indoor entertainment facilities. This is going to be a requirement. The only way to patronize these establishments indoors will be if you're vaccinated, at least one dose.
The same for folks in terms of work. They'll need at least one dose. Ding. One dose.
Is that following the science, de Blasio? Because according to the CDC, this is CDC Issues Updated Guidance on Travel for Fully Vaccinated People Back in April, a person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the last recommended dose of vaccine. And I've pointed out before how there was a scientific study that wasn't peer-reviewed, because it's not peer-reviewed, and the mainstream media and local media even uses scientific papers that aren't peer-reviewed to drive home narratives and talking points, like 99% of people who have died from COVID in the last month were unvaccinated. That document talked about how, in the base case, under the statistical analysis section, in the base case, SARS-CoV-2 infection that occurred before 14 days had elapsed since receipt of the second vaccine dose was attributed to the unvaccinated group.
So certain studies will take people that got the second jab, but if they got sick or died, prior to 14 days after the second shot, they will be labeled or attributed to the unvaccinated group. So de Blasio, what's the point of getting just one jab to be able to participate in society if there are scientific papers suggesting that you're not vaccinated, you're unvaccinated after one dose? And that's just a study that's not been peer-reviewed or published or pre-published. According to the CDC, there's another paper here, Effectiveness of Pfizer, BioNTech, Moderna Vaccines Against COVID-19 Among Hospitalized Adults age 65 and over.
And in this paper, they discuss how there are four categories of people. You have the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination status, included four categories, one unvaccinated defined as no receipt of any SARS-CoV-2 vaccine before illness onset, two single dose vaccinated, less than 14 days before illness defined as receipt of the first vaccine, less than 14 days before COVID-19 like illness onset. So if you get sick within 14 days after your first shot, you're considered a single dose vaccinated, and then you're partially vaccinated. They're defined as receipt of one dose of a two dose vaccination series over 14 days before illness onset or two doses with a second dose received 14 days before illness onset, and then finally fully vaccinated, which is you receive both vaccines and it's been 14 days since.
So again, it's not clear if the CDC themselves in studies have used four categories. If other scientific papers just go ahead and label people unvaccinated even after the second shot. If it's been if it's been under two weeks, you know, if they get tested positive under two weeks since that second shot, then why is it Blasio pointing out, hey, all you need is one shot and you can participate in society in New York. I don't know.
I thought we're supposed to bow down to science, and the Blasio is not even being consistent with the CDC's own science, which is, I don't know, it's not that surprising. But there you go. Here's more from the Blasio. The goal here is to convince everyone that this is the time of going to stop the Delta variant.
The time is now, and that means getting vaccinated right now. But this will move forward, starting in the week of August 16th, and then full enforcement and inspection begins the week of September 13th. Not everyone's going to agree with this. I understand that.
But for so many people, this is going to be the life saving act that we're putting a mandate in place. It's going to guarantee a much higher level of vaccination in the city, and that is the key to protecting people and the key to our recovery. Lots of keys. Why it's the key to NYC.
The key to NYC pass opens a lot of doors, and we need it. Well, a lot of keys, a lot of doors open. Oh, man. And he uses the keywords that the keywords that people were concerned about mandate.
And, you know, now is the time to slam his finger on the desk. Now is the time to get vaccinated. And well, not very surprising there. We got one more clip here from the Blasio.
We'll be issuing a mayoral executive order and a health commissioner's order. Those are the legal tools necessary to implement this approach. And we know that this is what's going to turn the tide. And we also know that people are going to get a really clear message.
Hold on. How many times do we have to do something to turn the tide, flatten the curve? You know, all these things that are all about turning the tide of the trend. It's, I don't know.
I don't see, I don't understand how anybody who is being objective or at least approaching this topic with a critical mind, how they can't see how anytime there is any kind of spike or, you know, the data is questionable. Anytime that happens, the people, the governors, health officials, they slam in these crazy measures that violate basic human freedom, basic human rights. And but of course, you know, we're in an emergency. So now that applies.
And again, we'll get into some of those stories later on. Let me allow the Blasio to finish his thought here. Clear message. If you want to participate in our society fully, you got to get vaccinated.
You got to get vaccinated. It's time. So it's time. And this is going to send that message clearly.
And the key to NYC Pass, this is an easy approach because to confirm vaccination, all you need is your vaccination card or the NYC COVID safe app or the Excelsior app from the state. Any of those will do. So it's simple. Just show it and you're in.
Just show it and you're in. In what you're in the club of society. My gosh, this is just out of control. I feel bad for New Yorkers.
I really do. But I think people, there's a reason why there's a big exodus from New York early on. And I feel that there could be another wave of exodus coming. It's just too bad.
You know, New York, traditionally, has been seen as sort of a great progressive place where people from all over the world come and interact and whatever. But it's always been the heart of the New World Order, one of the pillars of the New World Order, I would say, especially when it comes to financial and even cultural in many ways. So, you know, it's too bad. It's too bad.
Hopefully, the thing that I want to know, if they release the documentation, because you know, the Blasio is talking about the legal tools necessary to push this forward. Is there an expiration date to this? You know, he's talking about enforcing it. They're opening it up in the middle of August, which is about 10 days away when they will start rolling it out.
And then by September, they said they're going to mandate it and what was the word he was not investigate, but basically, you know, check up on everybody to see how compliance everybody is. Is there an end date to this? That's what I would like to know. You know, if there was, at least there's some kind of light at the end of the tunnel, instead, we get the Blasio pushing vaccines.
He loves vaccines, folks. Mmm. Talk to the next one. Love it.
Love it. Love it. Love it. All right.
Well, um, I do have a flippy update. However, I don't want to step on Basil's virtual toes. So I think I'm going to skip it for now and just go forward here into the watching segment in general. Let me see if he's messaged me.
Nothing yet. All right. So, let's just go ahead and get into some of the stories and I'll allow him to do a flippy update when he shows up. All right.
So, um, this is a clip from Dr. Leana when on Democracy Now, and we've been tracking the verbiage that has gotten worse and worse when it comes to speaking about the unvaccinated, because the sleeping generalization that they are akin to terrorists and other dangerous people, you can be totally healthy, but if you're unvaccinated, you're a threat to society. And Dr. Leana when shares these sentiments.
I actually support what the CDC is now doing, which is going back to this indoor mask requirement, because frankly, we know that we can't trust the unvaccinated that they have been walking around without masks. And in fact, that's what lets us search that we're seeing. No science behind that. You can't trust the unvaccinated.
What are we talking about? What kind of crazy totalitarian sentiments are you peddling there, Dr. Wen? Yeah, when when totalitarian takeover, that's all I have to say.
No surprises there. Uh, Leana Wen, Dr. Leana Wen, she's been seen on CNN multiple times pushing similar sentiments. And you know, they love her over there because she's peddling the company line and continues to instigate this idea that, you know, if you're vaccinated, you're safe.
If you're unvaccinated, you're danger, you're a threat to society, which is untrue. It's unscientific. And moreover, it is very dangerous to the fabric of society. We're actually seeing, I think the the calling here, the splitting up of society.
This issue of vaccines is tearing apart the moral fabric of not just this country, but I think around the world. And we've seen some of that in other countries, you know, Australia, Canada, some news from Canada that we'll get to in a moment. But moving on here, this is a Yahoo.com article and or Yahoo life, I guess. Headline, this is how likely you are to catch Delta.
If you're fully vaccinated, study says, okay, let's see what the studies say. Recent data from the Center of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC shows that the current Delta variant surge, which has seen the national daily case average soar higher than last summer's highest levels. Let me read that again, which has seen the national daily. This is a Delta variant surge, which has seen the national daily case average soar higher than last summer's highest levels.
Guess what wasn't here last summer vaccines. We have vaccines last summer, but somehow now that half the country is vaccinated, the Delta variant has surged with higher cases than last summer. Something doesn't add up here is being fueled largely by infections among unvaccinated people. I'm okay.
Here's the thing that this is the first sentence of this article, but this is what's alarming to me last summer. Okay. Every positive test was amongst unvaccinated people. Okay.
So, so if it's fueled largely by infections among vaccinated people now, then what are you comparing it to? You're comparing it to unvaccinated people last year, which means there are amongst the people in the surge of the Delta variant vaccinated people, right? If our numbers are higher this year than they were last year, and the majority fueled by the unvaccinated, well, yeah, the entire lot was unvaccinated last year. So I don't know.
This is just manipulative and kind of disturbing in terms of the reporting here. And this is hyperlinked to the infections among unvaccinated people. It takes you to a CNN website. That's your source?
Yahoo Life. Let me hyperlink a source to CNN. Come on. However, leaked CDC report also states that breakthrough infections, which takes you to a bestlifeonline.com article best life are still affecting those who received their shots adding to mounting concerns among some health experts that the virus may be eluding the protection offered by the vaccine.
Yes, we've seen that in Israel. We've seen in the UK, but near research out of the UK has shined more light on how likely it is that someone who's fully vaccinated will catch the Delta variant, offering some good news as cases continue to mount. Oh, good news for the vaccinated. Don't don't jump out of a window yet, folks.
I'm talking to people vaccinated. A large study conducted by researchers at Imperial College of London, which has not been peer reviewed. Not been peer reviewed. Making sure that they stay accurate in the reporting there.
Used data from over 9,800 swab tests taken between June 24th and July 12th. The sample period covers a time when the Delta variant had surpassed the alpha variant as the dominant strain in the UK. Results found that people who had received two doses of vaccine were half as likely to test positive for COVID-19, even if they hadn't shown any signs of symptoms. Let me read that again.
I'm trying to, you know, this is all so mumble jumbled stuff. I'm going to read that last sentence. The sample period covers a time when the Delta variant has surpassed the alpha variant as a dominant strain in the UK. Okay.
Results found that people who had received two doses of the vaccine, okay, two doses, were half as likely to test positive half as likely to test positive for COVID-19. Half as like, okay, so that all right, even if they hadn't shown any signs of symptoms, wouldn't that be against the narrative that it's still safe? Even if they hadn't shown any signs of symptoms. Okay, so even if you're healthy, you're still half as likely to test positive.
Is that compared to unvaccinated? This is so unclear. I don't know. Maybe I'm just losing my mind because I'm online and I don't have a my partner in crime here.
Help me guide some of the stuff through here. But yeah, it just doesn't make much sense, but let's continue on here. The study also found that vaccines offered even higher effectiveness regarding symptomatic infections, showing a 59% efficacy rate for those who had received both shots. So if you have symptoms and you're positive, 59% effective at what?
So 41% are the people that got sick with symptoms and had both shots. So almost half, almost half the people, 41% of people got symptoms and infected. But then so less than half, you know, this is again, I don't know, man, this is a little shady when it comes to just the way they word things to make it sound less scary and all that. Let's continue on here.
And while the findings suggest a significant drop from a previous study conducted by public health England that found fully vaccinated people were offered 88% protection against the variants, the Imperial college researchers state that the point of their study was to access results from people who may not have been looking to get tested Reuters reports. Quote, we're looking at effectiveness against infection amongst a random sample of the general population, which includes asymptomatic individuals, Paul Elliott, PhD, an epidemiologist at Imperial College who led the study said during a press conference quote, so again, it's a different bunch of people adding that his study obtained test results from people who may not have chosen to get swabbed otherwise. Okay, overall, the study found that three times as many unvaccinated people test positive for the Delta variant showing the prevalence of 1.21% in patients who had yet to receive their shots versus 0.4% prevalence in fully vaccinated patients. The researchers also noted that the viral load measured in vaccinated people was lower than levels in unvaccinated people, meaning they may be less infectious towards others.
You know, the data that's coming out of all these scientific studies contradicts one another, because that's not what was reported last week. Remember, the whole just as contagious as chickenpox, that will narrative in the study that they cited, which was a small study from Massachusetts, a sample size of a few hundred. They suggested that, you know, if you're vaccinated, you can still pass it on. That's why we masks and lock things down in social distance and all of that.
Let me just real quick off the cuff here, let me go to the study that they cite here from Imperial College of London. I want to see if I can skim some numbers here and see what they say about the unvaccinated. They're just repeating the same thing. I don't see hard numbers.
It's just the same percentages. You know, I'm concerned about percentages because, okay, let's see, for the latest round of the reacts study, 98,233 people swabbed themselves at home, and their samples were analyzed by PCR testing. There you go. 527 of these were positive, giving an overall prevalence of 0.63%.
527 out of 98,000. So, okay, so when we talk about the percentages here, we're talking about out of the 527 that tested positive out of the 98,000 that took swabs, 527 tested positive, and nearly half of those were unvaccinated or over half, I guess. So, 254 of these were successfully analyzed in the lab to determine their origins, 100%, which were the delta variant. So, okay, this is why it's kind of important to click into some of these studies.
All right, so this Yahoo article is saying 98,000 swabs. There's no details. They're just saying 90. There's a sample size is 98,000.
Okay, out of the 98,000, you know, the delta variant is so odd over half or whatever they say here. And maybe that's why it's so confusing the way they write these articles, because they're kind of tiptoeing, they're beating around the bush of some of the more troublesome data to their narrative, and that's why they have to like make it, it's kind of like filibustering. They're just like putting sentences together in this like super Ultron to keep the narrative running. Okay, so 98,000 swabs, 527 were positive, 254 of those, 527, so about half were successful.
Analyzed in the lab, which means the other half was unsuccessful in lab tests to determine their origins 100% which were of delta variant. So all right, 254, let me get my calculator out here. 254 divided by 98,233 equals 0.25%, 0.25% delta variant spreading concern, taking over. And then people who were unvaccinated had a threefold higher prevalence.
Okay, so let's see, out of the 254, I mean, we're talking about tens here, like maybe 100, 150 at most who were unvaccinated. So I mean, okay, we're starting to get into the weeds here, I guess, but point is when you look at the raw numbers, not the percentages, it's pretty clear that there's a very small number of people that were unvaccinated that tested positive for delta, even in this study, this reacts study from Imperial College London, unless I'm mistaken here. Okay, well, I'm mistaken, the numbers don't, it shouldn't really freak people out. In fact, it's so much less than anything that came out last year too.
All right, it says here, ultimately the researchers concluded that their findings provided some cause for cautious optimism. Yeah, because hardly anybody is testing positive in the UK, at least out of the 98,000 that they swabbed, but they were careful to caution. Where's my, is there like a face palm sound effect that I can, I can put together somehow, I'm trying to think of there's one that's here, well, I can just say this to them. You do not know what you were talking about.
Tell them, Fauci. Okay, so ultimately, the researchers concluded that their findings provided some cause for cautious optimism, but they were careful to caution that the delta variants was still a formidable foe in the fight against the pandemic. Why is it always a caveat to maintain the narrative? Why?
Oh, I know why, because this is not about the virus or the fact it's not even about the vaccine really, it's about compliance. They're just using the vaccine as the tool for this compliance, these findings confirm our previous data, showing that both doses of a vaccine offered good protection against getting infected, Elliott said in a statement, quote, however, we can also see that there is still a risk of infection and no vaccine is 100% effective. And we know that some double vaccinated people can still become ill from the virus. So even with the easing of restrictions, we should still act with caution to help protect one another and curb the rate of infections.
How much lower do we need this thing to be? If 98,000 people got swab and only 500 of them tested positive and out of those only half of that 250 some were delta variant confirmed. I don't know. I mean, I guess, yeah, we want to eradicate things, but this whole idea that we have to get everything down to zero, it's like the carbon emissions thing, the same thing with the climate change stuff, we must bring everything down to zero carbon emissions.
Like, well, everything has a little bit of carbon emission. This idea that you're going to completely eradicate it and that you're not in compliance with the institutions and the governments, if you don't, that is the takeover here. That is the whole idea of this whole new world order that we're living in. Moving on here, I'm just going to roll through these, this is an AP article is mirrored on MSN.
Head of UN Health Agency seeks vaccine booster moratorium. Geneva, the head of the World Health Organization called Wednesday for a moratorium on administering booster shots of COVID-19 is a way to help ensure that doses are available in countries where few people have received their first shots. Well, I got to head of themselves. No, they want to, and Tedros wants to make sure that everyone has their shots before we roll out the boosters there.
Okay, let's continue on you. Who director general Tedros at Hanom Gebreusas made the appeal mostly to wealthier countries that have far outpaced the developing world in a number of vaccinations? He said richer countries have administered about 100 doses of coronavirus vaccines for every 100 people on average, while low-income countries hampered by short supplies have provided only about 1.5 doses per 100 people. Who officials say the science is unproven about whether giving booster shots to people who have already received two vaccine doses is effective in preventing the spread of the coronavirus.
Hmm, interesting. Not according to Pfizer, the CO Pfizer who we documented in the last episode, said that they're submitting all of their data to the CDC and the World Health Organization, and it's up to them to decide whether the boosters work or not. It's all about the money, folks. You know, as long as who's the highest bidder?
They win. The UN Health Agency has repeatedly called for rich countries to do more to help improve access to vaccines in the developing world. A talking point that was echoed by the likes of Bill Gates and Hillary Clinton. It is argued it has argued that no one is safe until everyone is safe.
There it is. No one is safe until everyone is safe. Because a longer and more widely the coronavirus circulates the greater the chance that new variants can emerge and prolong a global crisis in fighting the pandemic. If you apply the same logic to influenza, it's the same thing.
Even worse, we've had tens of thousands of people die from the general flu each year. And up until COVID, there was a year where I think it was brought down after the fact, but initially it was reported that 80,000 people died from the flu in 2018. I think they lowered it to like 60,000 or something. But that's a good amount.
And that's without fidgeting with the death count and having the World Health Organization protocol worldwide, how to measure deaths when it comes to COVID-19, which again, I showed in the last episode, I showed in the past episode of how their own documents, the World Health Organization's own documents say, even if it contradicts the medical science, go ahead and label certain deaths as COVID-positive, especially if we don't have lab tests to confirm. Okay, Tedros pointed to a who target he had announced in May seeking to ensure that 10% of the populations in all countries receive vaccines against the coronavirus. Okay, a quote, accordingly, who was calling for a moratorium on boosters until at least the end of September to enable at least 10% of the population of every country to be vaccinated. Why so arbitrary with all these people?
I think Fauci and gang came out and said, you know, oh, we need 90% vaccine rate to be to have herd immunity, which is up from like the 60% that he had mentioned before, which is also separate from herd immunity that the original definition, which included people who got sick and beat it and have antibodies. They're not counted as part of the people that can the people that contribute to herd immunity. It's only the people that are vaccinated that contribute to herd immunity, even though if you get the vaccine, you can still get sick and you can still spread COVID. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
To help take the heat out of the pandemic, who has been focusing on getting vaccines to older adults, healthcare workers and other target populations in many countries before booster shot campaigns are carried out campaigns. Yeah, it's all advertising in general. This is a financial thing for these companies, especially Pfizer. It's all about the bottom line.
And you think about any product from the light bulb to your iPhone, you know, it's meant to break your car is even. They don't make cars like these, especially now, because you got to stay in business. You can't stay in business if you build something that lasts a lifetime. You got to build stuff that breaks.
It's got to lose its effectiveness. You can buy the thing to replace it or buy the thing to continue with the service or whatever it is. That's all it is. And you apply that to vaccines and they're big pharma companies.
And yeah, they need the vaccines to weigh in enough. It can see so they can roll out the booster makes sense. So while, you know, the way they worded this, you know, vaccine booster moratorium, you're going to get a lot of clicks from the anti-vaxxers like, Oh, this is great. Well, somebody with sense in the World Health Organization in reality, it's just a call for more jabs, more jabs, more jabs, don't ask me questions.
Where's that clip? Where's my eyes on that one? Oh, I can't find all the stuff when I need it. Well, this is close enough.
We're all going to die. Oh, wait, is this it? No, no, that's not it either. My board is just so full of clips nowadays.
It's hard to get to the stuff that I really want to. One more, one more attempt here. Everybody out there often a vaccine, don't ask any questions, please take it. Don't ask any questions.
Just take it. Just take it. Yeah, just take it. Yeah, come on, just take it.
Just take a jab. Oh, you want to participate in society? You want to be healthy? Just ask any questions.
Take the jab. Take it. All right. It's having some fun here.
Okay, moving on here. This is another mirrored article on MSN. This is CNN. CDC announces limited targeted eviction moratorium until early October.
More moratoriums. Yay. See what it says. The CDC on Tuesday issued a fresh stop.
A fresh stop. Thanks, CDC for the fresh stop. On certain evictions, Tuesday. Hold on, let me read that again.
This has to be AI writing these articles at this point. The US centers for disease control and prevention on Tuesday issued a fresh stop of certain evictions Tuesday, saying that evicting people could be detrimental to public health and would interfere with efforts to slow the pandemic. Yeah, we need we need the slaves to stay inside. We can't can't be evicting them.
The new moratorium comes after President Joe Biden and his administration allowed a previous freeze to expire, setting off fury among members of his own party. The new ban applies to areas of the country with high or substantial transmission of COVID-19 and will last until October 3rd, according to the announcement, quote, in the context of a pandemic eviction moratorium like quarantine, isolation and social distancing can be an effective public health measure utilized to prevent the spread of communicable disease. Eviction moratorium facilitates self isolation and self quarantine by people who become ill or who are at risk of transmitting COVID-19 by keeping people out of congregate settings and in their own homes. The statement read that I just not say that their own statement basically says, yes, slave, you must stay inside for your own good and for the good of the public.
They need a place to stay. They can't be out going to lalapalooza or the NBA finals. You know, one thing to point out here, what did any of you vote for the CDC to have this kind of authority and power over our just, you know, our politics and our economics? Seriously, who are the CDC to be like, Oh, we're gonna, we're gonna lift the more, we're gonna give you a moratorium on evictions, because the show the politicians are just puppets to greater entities, which we've known for a long time.
Just a clear example of it. The eviction issue has escalated into a contentious dispute between the White House and progressive Democrats who accused the president of saddling them with, uh, saddle president saddling them with passing an extension at the 11th hour. Biden's aides said everyone should have known the moratorium was expiring and that congressional action was needed. Left and alerts were millions of Americans behind on their rent because of the pandemic still gripping parts of the country.
The resolution will stop short of another nationwide eviction freeze, but instead will be more limited in scope, targeted in places with high COVID spread. A source familiar with the effort said the announcement would cover 80% of US counties and 90% of the US population. Biden's aides had repeatedly insisted he lacked legal authority to renew the existing moratorium, citing a Supreme Court opinion by Justice Brett Kavanaugh from late June. That said, another extension would require congressional approval.
The president said earlier Tuesday the new eviction ban would be different from the previous one, but he openly acknowledged it would likely face legal scrutiny and said the time it takes for the court process to unfold will allow for emergency rental assistance to reach troubled tenants. Biden said he sought out constitutional scholars to advise him on the path forward after the Supreme Court's ruling and said the quote, bulk of them warrant an eviction moratorium was quote, not likely to pass constitutional muster. So how a source familiar with the situation, how are they going to bypass Biden and the federal government and just go straight, are they just targeting the local governments? Do you know what I'm saying with it?
Who put the CDC in charge here to have all this power? You know, it's just kind of strange. It's like, Oh, okay, well, federal government, panzer tide, Supreme Court's not going to pass it. You know, you need to congressional support.
Yada, yada, yada. Ah, forget them. Let's just go to the local level, convince the local politicians. You know, we got we got dirt on those guys anyway.
So they don't comply. You know, you can you can abstain those people. So, uh, yeah, sees a val alien in the chat. CDC is my landlord now.
Apparently, apparently it's black rock and CDC pay your dues pay pay your rent. Or actually, you know, you don't have to pay your rent. You're free. Well, you're not free.
It's all we're going to pay for this eventually. But, uh, and you know, a lot of I think what this is going to do effectively in black rocks in on the same agenda here. This is destroying property owners in America homeowners in America, whose tenants don't have to pay rent. So those property owners don't have the income to pay the mortgages of the properties they own.
So what does that do? It forces them to sell. And who's going to buy? I don't know.
Maybe black rock can come in and buy it, you know, 50% higher than list price and keep everybody happy. I'm just saying, you know, it's kind of the way the dominoes seem to be lining up. Moving on here. You sign of basil?
No sign of basil still. That's not good. Uh, let's see here. Next up, oh, we get into the if the if the statistical twisty-turvy doesn't work.
Let me appeal to emotion. HuffPost headline. I'm an ICU doctor and I cannot believe the things unvaccinated patients are telling me really. Oh boy, this is like an as a guest writer, Van Neville is a doctor and she wrote this column.
Let's keep that in mind. And I even saw this article being shared around my local area here and, uh, you know, just please listen to the stories. I think it's someone that is local to me anyway. Maybe not.
We'll see. Quote, we can't let COVID win. This was my colleague's mantra when the pandemic started last year. And for almost 18 months, healthcare workers have rallied to the battlefields even at times when we had no weapons to brandish.
We took care of the infected and the critically ill with no one else would. No one else who else is supposed to take care of the medical professionals? Are you talking about? Okay.
Sorry. Sorry. I'm not mad at them. We refused N95 masks, carefully placing them in labeled brown paper bags in between shifts or rums are we reused N95 masks.
Why? Why did you do that? I thought you guys had plenty of masks because Fauci told everybody not to use masks and save it for the practitioners. We witnessed lonely deaths and held up iPads for families to save their heartbreaking goodbyes.
We created elaborate backup schedules and neglected our personal lives. We stepped up. I'm sorry. We stepped up during surges and when our colleagues fell ill.
Commeratori and the ICU had never been stronger because we recognized that this was a team effort and all of humanity was battling against a common enemy. Oh, you mean the invisible enemy? Trump said, oh, racist. But as healthcare workers, we also were painfully aware of our own vulnerabilities.
We can run out of ICU resources for our patients. We can run out of personal protective equipment for ourselves. We can be exposed on the job and get sick and we can die. Many of us did.
More than 3,600 from COVID-19 in the first year. Many of us quarantined away from our families to protect the loved ones. Wait, hold on. Protect the ones we love.
Sorry. We counted the risk factors of our children, our elderly parents, our spouses, and came up with our own formulas to decide whether to come home at the end of the shift or hold up in a hotel room. One of our ICU directors wrote and rewrote our COVID-19 clinical guidelines to keep us with the evolving literature and somehow she carved out the time to write her own will. I worked daily to adapt our end-of-life program to the changing needs and restrictions of the pandemic and signed up for a vaccine clinical trial as soon as one became available.
I also updated my own advanced directive and printed it out for my husband, Justin Case. We're all going to die. Then effective vaccines became widely available in the US. I briefly saw light at the end of the tunnel.
It was a very drink coming your way. Sorry. The number of patients with COVID-19 in ICU is across the country plummeted. It looked like our sacrifices and commitment as healthcare workers had paid off.
We believed herd immunity could become a reality and we could return to some sense of normalcy. But the relief was short-lived. The hope was fleeting. We are amid another surge, a surge that is fueled by highly transmissible variant and those unvaccinated.
My experience in the ICU these past weeks have left me surprised, disheartened, but most of all angry. She has angry issues. I'm angry that the tragic scenes of prior surges are being played out yet again, but now with ICU primarily filled with patients who have chosen not to be vaccinated. I am angry that it takes me over an hour to explain to an anti-vaxxer full of misinformation that intubation isn't what quote, kills patients and that their wish for chest compressions without intubation in the event of a respiratory arrest makes no sense.
I'm angry at those who refuse to wear, quote, muzzles when grocery shopping for half an hour a week, as I have been so called muzzled for much of the past 18 months. I cannot understand the simultaneous decision to not get vaccinated and the demand to end the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. I cannot help but recoil, as if I've been slapped in the face when my ICU patients tell me they didn't get vaccinated because they quote, just didn't get around to it. Although such individuals do not consider themselves anti-vaxxers, their inaction itself is a decision, a decision to not protect themselves or their families to fill a precious ICU bed, to let new variants flourish into endanger the healthcare workers and immunosuppressed people around them.
Their inaction is a decision to let the pandemic continue to rage. We need like the, we need like the violin music or something in the background of this. It was like very epic, epic writing here. And meanwhile, immunocompromised people for whom vaccines don't generate much immunity are desperately waiting for herd immunity.
I have no way to comfort my rightfully outraged transplant patients who contracted COVID-19 after isolating for over a year and getting fully vaccinated as soon as they could. With angry tears, these patients tell me it's not fair that there are people who are choosing to endanger both themselves and the vulnerable people around them. They feel betrayed by their fellow citizens and they are bitter and angry. I cannot blame them.
I've been saying this is the calling of society and the division of society. I mean, here it is. This is it. If you can convince half the public that the other half of the unvaccinated are dangerous and that they're selfish and that they're betraying your citizenry, that is some serious, serious propaganda.
That's all I gotta say. I actually got a lot more to say, but I'm just finished article here. I'm at a loss to understand how anyone can look at these past months of the pandemic, more than 600,000 lives lost in the US and more than 4 million worldwide and not believe it's fake or take it seriously. Okay.
I'm sorry, not believe it's real or take it seriously. That's fake. Okay. So basically, what you're saying, how can you see 600 people die 600,000 people died in the last year and not take it seriously?
I think I speak for a lot of people watching or listening right now that it's not so much that it's not real or it shouldn't be taken seriously. It's that the information that's being provided, the justification for activity by the government, the way the publicly available documentation suggests, you know, even healthcare practitioners, medical practitioners handle, for example, labeling the death by COVID-19, questioning those things is not a bad thing. I don't see that as I see that as creating more transparency, more honesty when it comes to all of this, but instead, you know, they're just saying, oh, they're giving their evil. But the unhappy, I'm back to the article here.
The unhappy truth is that there are people who do not. They did not in the beginning and many are doubling down now. I thought when this pandemic began that we were all in this fight together, engaged in a war against a common enemy. Now, I painfully realized perhaps we were never on the same side and we never had a common enemy.
Perhaps the war has been amongst ourselves all along. We have won many battles, but unvaccinated America is choosing to let COVID win the war. Holy moly, come on, that is what, it's really so dramatic, so inaccurate when it comes to, I mean, not a single documented scientific source for any of this, just emotions from data that's thrown out there. So, you know, fan of will, God bless you, you're on the front lines in the medical field, treating patients, and sure, there are some people who will, I guess, repeat anti-vax talking points to you and things of that nature.
But I think a majority of the people who are skeptical of this thing isn't so much doing it out of ignorance, they're doing it out of concern for the greater good of humanity number one, and we'll talk about that in a moment, greater good for our fellow man or neighbor, but also just really trying to get to the bottom of the hard data, the science, because, you know, the practitioners don't necessarily, I'm not mistaken, nurses and doctors on the front lines, as they say, they're not in the labs doing the testing and coming up with the numbers, they react to those studies, they react and use the people in the research end of things to conduct their practice. So, they rely on the laboratory and the statistical analysis and the data that comes out. So, I don't know, I, if I ever get to speak to this lady, you know, I'm sure we end up in a shouting match because, you know, there's a difference in worldview, but don't pen an article appealing to emotion and virtue signal how angry you are at people who are unvaccinated, because they're letting the COVID win the war, or some nonsense that just pedals complete, unfounded propaganda. All right.
Okay. Well, what else? The Delta variant? No, not so, my friends.
This is the Washington Post. Here's what we know about the Delta plus variant. Step aside, Delta, we have Delta plus on the rise. What is this?
We have like Disney plus, we're gonna have like, like Delta squared, we're gonna have Delta hyperdrive, you know, Delta heating up. All right, sorry. Okay, go ahead and read this article here. South Korea's Disease Control and Prevention Agency said Tuesday that it had recorded at least two cases to shut it down.
We have two cases of the new coronavirus Delta plus variant, which some experts believe to be more transmissible than the original Delta variant. Like, gosh, they can't keep their story straight. First, it's not, it's more, it spreads more, but it's not as harsh. Then it's, it spreads just as much and is just as harsh.
Now Delta plus, I mean, eventually it's gonna be like Delta plus plus plus the oxygen molecule. If you breathe it, you have it. All right. So I'm sorry, Tuesday had recorded at least two cases of the new coronavirus Delta plus variant, which some experts believe to be more transmissible than the original Delta variant that was first detected in India.
And has since thwarted plans for returning to life before the pandemic, of course it has. But what do we know about Delta plus yet another new variant causing alarm among governments and health officials? Huh, interesting. Interesting tell there, sometimes, you know, WAPO, they can't help themselves, but tell a wee bit of truth Delta plus yet another new variant causing alarm among governments and health officials.
Not your common citizen, not your fellow man, governments and health officials. Those are the people freaking out about it. You know, somebody asked about the story, Atopia Chronicles, which I recommend as far as like fictional reading. It's about the future, you take these smarticles, and basically the elite have this island called Atopia.
It's a floating moving island. It's not like it's like it's own country, but it doesn't have a location per se that it exists in. And it kind of blends the world of virtual with the physical world. And so you lose sight of what's real, quote unquote, and in the story, I'm gonna give it away.
I'm sorry. It's, you know, I'm blowing it for you, but the book is a few years old. You can go into it knowing the outcome. But basically, these elite people of Atopia, the whole story, they're like, Oh, we have to prepare for the storm.
There's a storm coming right at us. We need to prepare for it. We have to make sure that it doesn't take out Atopia and they go through all these measures. I think they have like health experts and stuff that are there to like help prepare for the storm.
Well, the big kicker is it was all virtual. There's no storm. It was in the VR world. It wasn't in the real world.
And it's similar here. It's like the governments and health officials are in this other universe, and they're seeing, Oh, the very of the place, you know, but then in real life, we're kind of like, you okay over there, government book, you know, it's okay. It's okay. Government folk will survive.
It's kind of what it's like. Anyway, first identified in Europe in March, the variant is also known as B161721 or AY1. All right, I II II I one. Hey, what do you have?
I have a it has been detected in several countries, including the UK, the US and India. Oh, wait a minute. Hold on. Again, this is my brain trying to put pieces together here.
If there are only two, at least two cases, oh, two just in South Korea. Okay. All right, two in South Korea, but it has been detected in the UK, US and India. All right, last month experts in India labeled a variant one of concern and warrant sorry, trying to read text message.
Oh, is that a basil text? Here it is. Okay, Eagle is landing. All right, Basil's making his way.
Oh, there he is going to make his way in here in a moment. I'll just keep reading until he's here. Last month experts in India labeled the variant one of concern and warned that it appeared to be more transmissible than most citing studies. Where is this?
Oh, it takes you to a BBC article wonderful. The country's health ministry said that the variant has the ability to bind more easily to lung cells and could be resistant to therapies used to treat the infection. Oh, wow. I can't even union science and technology minister, Jitendra Singh announced Friday that up to 70 cases of the Delta plus variant were detected in genome sequencing as of July 23 Hinduism times reported.
How India has whether the devastation of the Delta variants and how it is named the Delta plus variant as one of concerns should place public health leaders on notice said James E. K. Hildreth, president and chief executive me hairy medical college. Mary is a me hairy or me hairy.
All right, sorry, I just I've never heard of me hairy medical college there, but it reminds me of Joe Biden's legs. Harry legs, Harry legs, quote, we've got we've got to be more willing to consider observations made in other countries dealing with the coronavirus, he said nothing that the relative of the highly contagious Delta variant, no, no, no, I'm sorry, noting that the relative of the highly contagious Delta variant is concerning quote again, we saw what happened with Delta in India and how quickly it spread. Why would we think the Delta plus variant would be different? The Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium has since said that the Delta variant plus variant.
I'm sorry that the Delta plus variant is likely, oh my gosh, I'm losing my mind. The Delta plus variant is unlikely to be more transmissible than the Delta variant and trends have yet to emerge according to Hindu stand times. Okay, so India's genomic consortium said that Delta plus is unlikely to be more transmissible than Delta. But in South Korea, experts believe the Delta plus to be more transmissible than the original Delta.
Same article, folks, I'm just trying to put the pieces together. Why it's conflicting in phone in the same article, which is a product of quote unquote science, you know, science in the in the method, the scientific method is a process. It is not something to extract absolute truths from. But why would you that?
I don't know, governments, scientific dictatorship. Where was I? The variant was listed as one of concern by the International Health Agency and the CDC said it will continue to evaluate its independence classification. However, Melita Wuhnovich, World Health Organization representative of Russia, Melita Wuhnovich said last month that face coverings and vaccinations will be needed to fight the latest variant.
Seriously, come on, last month, a German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned that Europe was still quote on thin ice and expressed caution that authorities across the continent should remain cautiously optimistic. Get with that word cautiously. Got to be cautious. Maybe cautious.
Maybe cautious, maybe cautious, folks. I'm cautiously optimistic, but you need to be cautious. Quote, we must remain watchful. Hey, that's that's our line.
Can't use the word watchful. That's what the watchmen do. That's not what these people do. These people, they need to be cautious.
We must remain watchful. New variants, on particular, notably the Delta variant, mean we must be cautious. Oh, there is. I should just name the episode cautious.
She said during her last government statement in the UK, there are more than 72% adults fully vaccinated. The Delta variant is accounted for nearly all the infections, even though coronavirus cases overall are on the decline. Who is this? What article is this from?
Government.co.uk. The 72% of adults of the UK vaccinated is a hyperlink. And it takes you to this website here of gov.uk. All right, gov.uk.
More than 85 million COVID-19 vaccines administered in the UK, 72% of adults have had both shots. That's a lot of people. Let's see. Let's see if they have Delta in here.
Two doses provide over 90% protection against hospitalization from the Delta variant. And I'm not much there. It's just bullet points. Is it point any scientific papers or is it just the government telling us?
Ooh, background info. Some statistics or more government websites. Yeah, more government websites. All right, government websites linking to government websites to prove their point.
Revolutionary. At least 39 confirmed cases of the Delta variant. I'm sorry, the Delta plus variant have been found in the country, along with six probable ones, according to a library from the public health England. All right, so 39 Delta plus.
Oh man, the virus has not appeared to gain intense traction on British soil said Colin Angus, a public health policy mod modeller and analyst in England. The plus of the variance name refers to it's K417 and spike protein mutation. Oh, okay. Hmm.
A spike protein mutation, kind of like how the Salk.edu study showed how it's not the virus. That's the problem. It's the spike protein. That's the problem and can cause many issues.
We cite we referenced this article a lot because it's just so relevant. You know, April 30th, Salk.edu, the novel coronavirus is spike protein plays additional key role in illness. And this is the article where they basically created a pseudo virus and they, you know, they tested it out both in computer simulations and then an actual, you know, the lab study. It says exposure to the pseudo virus resulted in damage to the lungs and arteries of an animal model.
Proving that the spike protein alone was enough to cause disease. Tissue samples showed inflammation in endothelial cells lining the pulmonary artery walls. So there you go. And the quote from that Salk University article, if you remove the replicating capabilities of the virus, it still has a major damaging effect on the vascular cells simply by virtue of its ability to bind to this AC2 receptor, the S protein receptor, now famous thanks to COVID.
Further studies with mutant spike proteins will also provide new insight towards the ineffective, the ineffectivity and severity of mutant SARS-CoV-2 viruses. Interesting back and able they're talking about this and here we are in August. And what article was this, Washington Post mentioning how the delta plus variant is due to a mutation in the spike protein. Quote, to date, there is no clear evidence that it conveys enough of a benefit to the virus to allow it to dominate the original delta variant, he said.
So although it is clearly here, there's no obvious sign that it has gained a foothold of the virus. Angus also noted that delta plus cases have primarily been in younger people, but the preliminary data has shown that antibodies from vaccinated people are still effective against the variant. Oh, okay, good. Yay.
Nice. This was a very small sample, he said, of the data. Yeah, 39 people. We need more evidence to get a clear picture about any possible advantages against vaccines that delta plus may have.
But the fact that we haven't seen it clearly outcompetes delta despite having been found in several countries with high vaccination rates suggests that any advantage can only be very small. Richard Novak, head of the Division of Infectious Diseases at University of Illinois Health said it is too soon to say how the delta plus variant could evade vaccines or whether it is more infectious than the original. You can't get it straight. You noted that the variance is alarming, as it is related to the more contagious delta variants.
And coming at a time when breakthrough cases are popping up among the vaccinated, quote, this is just a process of natural selection and selecting viruses that are more contagious. All viruses want to do is reproduce themselves, the ones that do become the dominant virus, he said, we're going to see other variants. It's on a continuum. The variants are likely to get more efficient as time goes on.
Yes, because since so many people are vaccinated, maybe the variants come from people who are vaccinated. Ah, natural selection, the viruses are so smart that when they get into someone who's vaccinated, they go, ah, these vaccines produce these spike proteins. Let us mow off the spike protein. So we may continue the takeover.
Where's that? Come on. Where are you, buddy? Hold on.
Let me check here. Where you at? We'll see if he's just up. I mean, he's here.
I just got to wait till he comes in. He's probably going through the document and telling us how we need to drop articles or something. He always does that. All right, I'm gonna keep moving here.
Uh, next up, uh, so we're gonna get into a little section here. Well, let me just break it up and call it the, uh, part two of the waxing section. And I have a series of articles here that outline the cultural tensions. Sorry, reading it here.
Okay, he's, he's setting up over there. Okay. Um, I, he wants to know how far along we are. And on air for our 21.
Okay. All right. So, uh, yes, I have a series of articles here that, um, outline the cultural tensions and the battle looming because I think this is the social engineering aspect of this, the propaganda, the government overreach and things of that nature. That is just as much of the story here as the virus itself and the vaccines and the technology behind the vaccines.
Those are important to keep track of and we, what we do, we try to anyway, we look at what is being thrown out there as the science and the data, uh, and just for reference sake here, there are stories that I have in the additional stories, a section of the website, can you're crinestock.com in our show notes and they include, uh, let's see, they include, I had a couple here that I wanted to mention. Um, oh, Canada reducing COVID-19 testing and restrictions. So Canada is pulling back a little bit on some of their draconian measures, which is a good thing. It's a good sign.
I got an email from a producer that was mentioning some of that as well. Uh, the Daily Mail reported on how the CDC finally released the data to support their mask mandate. And again, it had to do with a small sample size of about 500 people from Massachusetts. And that one study was like, Oh, it's enough to lock everything down again and wear masks and blah, blah, blah.
You know, that whole sentiment is very much like, let's say you have a hundred people and one person trips because they're wearing shoes and then, and then they all decide like, Oh, this is bad shoes. It's kind of what this is. It's a crude, crude analogy, but that's kind of what's happening here. Um, and then there was a, uh, oh, I think we covered that other story that I, just, we just won't be just right here.
Okay. So USA Today, the COVID culture war, at what point it should personal freedom yield to the common good. Oh, you know, you can pass me what story I'm on. Why don't you just, uh, uh, jump online and find out or watch live.
But also we're on the second half of the stories in Washington. I skipped flippy. Sorry, folks, apologize for the thing here communicating with Basil. All right.
Yeah. So at what point headline USA Today, I want points to personal freedom yield to the common good Los Angeles and Anaheim, California, Disneyland worker Judy Hart, 62 says she'll never get the COVID-19 vaccine because it's quote experimental. What about masks? Heart, where's one while working retail sales at the most magical place on earth, but nowhere else.
