DeMelo ends 86-game drought, Connor provides OT winner as Jets defeat Predators

Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet is joined by Jeff Hamilton of the Winnipeg Free Press and Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun to break down the Winnipeg Jets  2-1 overtime victory over the Nashville Predators on Thursday night. Dylan DeMelo snapped a lengthy goal-scoring drought and Kyle Connor scored on his 12th shot on goal for the OT winner, while Connor Hellebuyck had another solid outing after allowing a goal on the first shot on goal from Filip Forsberg. The Jets snapped a two-game losing streak to improve to 19-9-1 on the season, 11-2 in the Central Division and 7-1 in overtime.
