A growing number of Democratic government officials have traveled to El Salvador to express their support for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a controversial figure at the center of a politically charged immigration case. Representative Chris Van Hollen was the first to visit the Central American nation, where he met with Garcia, whom he described as a "wrongly deported constituent."
