In the dead of night as people sleep, that is when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three dark things take power, we like to call it the supernatural hour. Hey, welcome to the supernatural hour. And I'm super excited about April and the investigations that are coming up and the podcast that we've got coming up.
And it's warm and I'm going to be able to read outside soon. And how about you guys? I'm excited that it's warm outside because I'm tired of being cold. But this is your call has castle by the way.
I'm here. Howdy. It's nice. It's like summer sure already.
Although it'll be kind of scary come July when we have the water to drink, but other than I'm excited. Well, luckily for you, it's supposed to be cold again, I think by this time next week. So yay. And this is Chad.
And I'm excited for it. Also, I had to go out and water my lawn. We don't have our water irrigation stuff working. So I had to like use house water.
But if I didn't, it would have been dead. It was already going brown. You guys miss it. Chad is out there one picture at a time.
Take it out. I'm just getting excited to go out and do stuff. So I have to tell you, one of our ghost hunters, Ray, she is just about ready to publish her second book. I'm not going to give you any info about it because I don't know how much info she wants to put out there.
But she's getting ready to publish her second book. And if you've listened to our podcast at all, that I have a book out, it's called The Piper's Ghost, published in 2008, just so you know. And in there is a teaser for the second book, which hasn't come out at all. It's only been 18 years.
So while talking with Ray about her book and she was throwing some ideas past this just the brainstorm, I thought, you know what, I should probably redo my book because it's printed through Amazon on a print on demand, the thing. So they say publish it as a little other, but they change companies. And when they change companies, the inside of my book went along key. And I'm almost embarrassed to publish it now.
So if I publish it now, I send you one, I send you a little note that says, sorry, I had time to fix this. I have time to fix it. So not only have I been fixing just the formatting, I've been fixing awkward sentences. Basically, it's addition to.
So I'm super excited to get that out. So soon as that's ready to go, I will let you know and he'll need to go get a better copy of it. And then we'll let you know about Ray's book. It's really cool.
So we'll let you know what that's about. All right, we have a lot to talk about tonight. So unless you guys have anything else we want to throw out, we'll talk about the Shalana and everything that happened. Oh, we do have a new investigation.
Shout to remind me the date. I like that Chad looks like he just got caught doing something. He's not supposed to. He's got baby.
We're going to the Benson Griss Mill that will be April 25th. Oh, that's right. It's Saturday. We're pretty excited about that.
It's been a while. I've been thinking all the way by the way. Yeah. And I was thinking about the next one.
That's why the eyes got big because I've been working on what we're going to be doing for our one after that, which if it comes through the way we hope and do, that's going to be pretty exciting. It'll be anyone we haven't been at before. And this still isn't. Yeah, this the one we're having the contest for.
We're still going to go there. We just can't have it as soon as we wanted to because trying to coordinate with owners proving to be a little difficult. We have chatted with them. It's just a matter of getting a date set is getting to be a little difficult.
We're still going there. We're still having the contest, which by the way, Castle knows where that place is and it is going to be awesome. It's like to say is it's going to be amazing and I will definitely be there for that one no matter what color high water because it's going to be awesome. So start saving your pennies if you want to come because you're not going to miss this one.
Yeah, my niece actually went fairly recently and I heard about it through her and it's like we need to get in there. But I just have had a very difficult time getting a response back about the original response back after a while and I've sent out through three emails trying to get back and there is no phone number that I've got. I only have an email address. So it's been me being reliant on them responding because I tried a number of different ways to try to get with them and I haven't been able to.
And we have had initial contact. So it was just a matter of them sitting down at their computer and checking the email. All right. Let's jump into tonight's topic which is we're going to do part one and part two.
Part one is going to be numbers 10 through six of the 10 most, no, not 10 most demonic cities according to Catholic clergy. And before we get too far into the topic, we want to give a little bit of context. So the list that we are discussing comes from commentary by some Catholic priests who talk about the 10 top cities in the United States where they believe spiritual darkness or demonic influence is more prevalent than in other areas. Now these observations are going to be backed up and come from a Catholic theological perspective so we're going to be talking a lot about religion and a specific religion.
So some of these things might not quite ring true with everybody. So think about that. But we're sharing them as part of a broader conversation. So we want to be clear about something as we go into this.
This is about labeling in entire cities. So if we name your city, we're not like, Oh, you're demonic or just these are cities that tend to have more demonic influence based on what Catholic exorcists have said. So this is opinions and there's recent behind these opinions. That being said, a lot of these cities are full of great people, good families, good communities, good faith traditions.
There's a lot of good things going on in every single one of these cities. But these are cities that tend to have a higher prevalence of demonic activity as part of these Catholic exorcists. And there's a lot of reasoning behind it as we start going through some of those. You're probably going to agree with us.
But there's certain industries, certain social environments, spiritual practices that can create these conditions for this quote unquote, most demonic city label. So as we get into this, I don't want to offend anybody. I don't want anybody to feel sad that I'm calling out your city. There's a reason why these are considered the 10 most demonic cities.
And I think we're just going to do five tonight. If I remember right, is that correct, Raven? Yes, because I think if we try to do all 10, we're not going to be able to jump in and give it the they deserve. So just know if for some reason, we need your city and we hurt your feelings and you're offended to send all your hate mail to Raven.
Right. She particularly likes it. If you said unsolicited nude photos, she just loves that. It's her favorite.
I love Chad space. I said that he just rolled his eyes at me and shook his head like castles and idiot and castles sometimes can be an idiot. Anyway, so don't be sad if we name your cities. I'm trying to say these are just cities named by these Catholic actresses and there's some reasoning why.
And I think that as we get into it, you'll understand. Yes. And castle just remember I'm the one that edits this. So send those inappropriate pictures to Chad at which that work.
All right. So that note, oftentimes we will get calls for residential and we talk about that. Sometimes we'll get calls for residential. We'll try to schedule it.
You never hear back from people. Sometimes we get residential and we go and do it and then we tell you about it. And sometimes we get a residential that sounds really cool and we're so excited to go and we find out it's in a different state, which happened. We got one that came in.
It sounded like it was going to be a pretty interesting investigation. Sorry, my mind would probably wait there for a second. And we got a date picked out and I said, okay, send me your address. The gentleman sends me the address in a city that I had never heard of before.
And I was like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. So I texted back. I said, no, remind me what state you're in. He was in Washington.
So I said, oh, I said we would love to come to Washington, but it's a private. Right. Right. Right.
Right. Right. Right. Right.
Right. Right. So if people do call us and you're from a different state, we will do what we can to find someone to help you. So we were able to find Gavin from Northwest Paranormal there in Washington and we got them connected and hopefully they can get that taken care of.
And so if you're listening to us and you have issues and you're like, hey, we'd love them to come out, but we're not in Utah. Still give us a shout because we've got some resources that you may not have and we can find someone that's close to you. All right. Thank you for listening to this.
Let's just remember that this episode is sponsored by CastlevoArt, which is yours truly. I am a certified professional photographer. If you need weddings, senior photos, senior photos should be right around the corner. Graduation has come up in a month or so.
Family photos, reach out to me. CastlevoArt.com I have reasonable prices. I do good work and I give you a lot of photos to pick from. In fact, I actually just did Ravens and chats.
Son slash up sons wedding and I hate to speak myself, but I think I'll start out pretty good. You're not amazing, but yes, castleforder.com.com. Give me a call. Before we jump into the first five of our 10-denomic, what's wrong with me tonight?
The monic cities, apparently I've been possessed. We want to give a shout out to our patrons, as always. We couldn't do nearly what we do without you. You guys are not only helping us fund some stuff, but you guys get some perks out of it.
And we get friends. We're friends with every single one of our patrons, and you guys are amazing. And like we mentioned before, we do have our new venue contest. We weren't able to do it when we wanted to, but we can still have the contest.
So I haven't put a hint up for a while. I'll need to do that. But keep sending in those hints. If we don't get a right answer, we'll just put all of your names in Castle's Hat and draw out a name.
And also, that winner will get a 50-ounce supernatural hour tumbler. And our first new five patrons will also get a supernatural hour tumbler as well. Speaking of which, we do have a new patron. Who is our new patron?
Shout out to you. Have you seen that coming yet? I know. I'll have to look.
I'm trying to get on right now and see. And I'm getting an air. Anyway, we do need to say on that that those tumblers are for postal and above patrons. They're not available for the digital subscriber patrons.
Yes. Yes. And if you get those, you need to be a postal patron. Because if you're a digital...
Like a postal, a picture tumbler and you'll come right down. Yeah, because the digital, you get everything through the email. It's really, really hard to send a tumbler via email. Link's any picture.
We do have a new postal insider customer, I believe. Yes. I'm just looking through. There's a couple.
And I think we've got a new digital. We're pretty excited about that. So we'll get some information. They told me first.
They did. They told me in person at our last investigation. All right. Okay.
So we become a patron. Tons of fun stuff. So join up before we have our shindig, which is usually in August. You can taste some of the pulled pork that castles super good at and...
Oh, it is delightful. And we might even have a new venue for that one too. New venue is all over the place. We're just so thick with new venues and one can keep them all straight.
All right. So remember, we're going to jump into our 10 most demonic cities. Like let me say, right for a change. And we are going to start with number 10.
Work our way up to number six. And then our next podcast, we'll do five through one. So we are just going to start off with number 10, which makes me sad because this is literally my favorite city in the United States. It's been ever since I was a little because of...
It's just where the country started. Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere, Lobster, Lobster, Pham Chouda. Lobster. So obviously it's Boston.
I love Boston. It's my favorite town ever. So let's jump in and bring up some of the points that clergy throw out for Boston Bean on this list. All right.
I'm going to jump in first if that's okay. Yeah. So Boston has got a long history of anti-Catholic sentiment in early American history. There's very strong Protestant opposition towards Catholics, even Bernie of converts.
And so you got to remember the United States was founded by people getting away from the religious persecution in England. And if anybody ever follows like English history, there's a lot of bad blood between the Protestants and the Catholics back in the day, the Church of England versus the Catholics. And that's a lot of the royal wars over and a lot of that continued into the United States and early church, early United States history. A lot of that religious back and forth occurred.
And that is the kind of thing where demonic spirits would try and incite that kind of violence towards different religious groups. Yeah, that Catholic Protestant thing even has come into the 20th and 21st centuries with England and Ireland. That's still going on. They're down in the last 20 years or so, but even up to 20 years ago, lots of bombings in the street and there's still a lot of anger there.
And one thing with that is that we've just raised this one point. There's several points we're going to go to the other point. So I don't want our listeners to think that really that's the reason why Boston is a city. There's much more to it.
Right. And then just a little self-plug of my book is deeply rooted in the Catholic versus the Protestants. So there you go. So something else that has really brought a lot of, or I don't want to say brought, it's going to open doors.
The monocantities need a door to be opened. They need an invitation. They need something to draw them in. And so one of the things that really made this explode because it exploded in Boston was the Catholic Church of Yous scandal.
And this really kind of came to light in 2002. And it's described by clergy as just a major spiritual wound in the church. So yeah, I don't think anybody would disagree with that. And it doesn't matter what religion you're in, but sexual abuse of any sort, especially with children is horrible.
Yeah, major sins like that, even if you read the Bible, it says that the Dominican is a child you'd be better off to hang a millstone around your neck and throw yourself into the sea. So God is pretty clear on how he feels about those kinds of sins involving children. Those are the kind of things that actually very serious, egregious sin are the kind of things that open up doorways to the monocantities. One thing I kind of want to throw in here, I do a lot of study and research on stuff on my own.
One of the things that I've gone down a rabbit hole with lately is near-death experiences. I find them fascinating. I don't think all of them are credible, but I think there's enough similarities between many of them that I do buy into some of what goes on in those near-death experiences. But one thing that struck me when I saw recently was a lady was talking about how after she died, she was shown basically the nation as a whole.
And she was talking about these demonic entities around us at all times whispering in our ears and we're mistaking what they're telling us for our own thoughts. And so I could see these abusers having these influences to, hey, do this, do this, and it is opening these doors. So just kind of in a single side note there. Another note along with these spiritual wounds is that's not just a Catholic problem.
I know that you're like, well, yeah, the Catholics did this and the Catholics breasted that. A wound for one follower of Christ is a wound for all followers of Christ. And I'm not saying cheesy and corny. But what I'm saying is that somebody's kind of like anti-church and you have this Catholic abuse scandal explode, then people who are on the fence for anti-church just apply that to all church, not just Catholic church.
And so that can actually turn a lot of people against Christianity and just religion in general. So not only is this a wound for Catholic church, it's kind of a wound for all of organized religion, if that makes sense. Especially all of Christianity. So this other one I find really interesting and that's something I never thought of.
I get into it in my own little realm politically, but I didn't really think of it on a spiritual spirit, a basis. But just the presence of, if you think about Boston, there's a lot of elite universities there, strong secularism, which some clergy can interpret as fostering atheism or rejection of religion. And there's a phrase that comes to mind, it might be kind of an LDS phrase, but it's not me castle. When men lean into their own understanding, meaning, men, meaning mankind, man and woman kind, kind of fall away from listening to God and having God guide them in their lives.
We literally go ahead of us basically. Yes, to thinking, oh, I know everything, what I think is the best thing. And they just, yeah, that would be the best way to put it. Your ego is getting ahead of you.
We convince ourselves we're so smart that nothing that we don't believe is real, if that makes sense. In addition, with these elite universities, there are some very elite secret, secret societies associated with them. The Skoll and Crossbones are at Harvard and some of the others that is said that many of the very powerful political and business leaders are tied to those, many of which have been present to the United States and other things, that there's close ties to secret societies that are tied to many of these universities and are fostered there and many ceremonies and different things. Well, the people might not think they are necessarily demonic or Satan worship or anything like that, that their secret societies are doing, but they may be doing things without even really understanding what they're doing.
Now, one thing along those same lines, Chad, there's a history in Boston tied to Freemasonry and Enlightenment philosophy. And it's interesting because I've done a lot of research on my demonology. And there's even a few podcasts which I've listened to, there's one, don't go listen to it to it to go to some other episodes, of course, but it's called The Exorcist Files. And it's actually a Catholic exorcist who talks about some of his cases.
But one thing is the Catholic Church is really, really firm on, they believe that Freemasonry is tied directly into the demonic and they believe that getting involved in Freemasonry can actually lead to demonic possession is one of the things that they teach. They teach as basically anti-Catholicism, Freemasonry. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. But if there's a lot of Freemasonry tied into Boston, that could definitely be an angle.
Same with like the skull of bone stuff that you were talking about, Chad. Yeah, and with the Freemasonry, take into account the perspective from which this list is coming in from. It's coming from a very Catholic perspective and it's coming from a very thing of that they are the true church and that there's the only way. So take that into account.
I don't know that necessarily Freemasonry or some of these other things that these are saying are necessarily demonic, but this is their take on it. And be aware of that. I do think there's a lot of very good things with the Freemasonry and a lot of the things that I've done. So whether that's demonic or whether that's the Catholic Church saying stay away from that organization and stay with our organization.
I think that could be a political as much as a demonic thing here. Well, I guess demonic too. So take that into consideration. Yes.
I was just going to say with anything, anything, it depends on your intent and what you put into it. Some things may lead to religions, but it doesn't matter what it is. Some religions can lead more into that if that's where your intent wants to go. It just depends on how you address it, how you carry out what you're doing.
So now one of the interesting things and the father that they refer to a lot in this study that they did that we're reporting on is father, Rippinger. And he says one of the things that's interesting about Boston is that the demonic entities that are there tend to be a lot more resistant to being cleansed and to be to have any sort of measures against them. They're just like the lots of strokes. It's like the antibiotic resistant bacteria.
These are like spiritual, extra spiritual resistant demons that you find here. And a lot of it's just because of the deep history and all the things that we've discussed. All right, let's jump into another city. If that's all right.
Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine.
Stop before we go. It's a means reference. Oh, I didn't know that. I thought it was your turn to have a stroke.
That's all the way around for everybody. Sing the word this song and tell me just know where to post. Hang on. Before we leave Boston though, even though it's number 10 on this list, I'm still going to go there because I love it back there.
So I'm going to go to it's still number one in Raven's heart. It is. It's an amazing city. All right.
Okay. All right. And number nine on our list. Number nine.
Yeah, I think if you play it backwards in one of the Beatles album, it's Paul's a dead man. That'd be appropriate for Philadelphia, which is our number nine city. So Philadelphia is listed because it has a reputation for organized crime history and corruption. Anytime you've got organized crime, you've got murder generally involved.
You've got a lot of things of that nature. The other number two reason that they used to Philadelphia is there's high levels of violent crime, which honestly, if you have gun violence, gang violence, you're going to have murder as one of those sins that can open demonic doorways. So one of the things that it discussed that go along with organized crime, corruption, violence is they said that in Philadelphia, it has one of the largest demonic presences in the country due to the high, high drug addiction in certain neighborhoods of Philadelphia. And it also talks about the breakdown of family and how Philadelphia was at one point, just a huge hub of Christianity and how those churches and the religion there have fallen away and broken down because of the violence, because of the breakdown of the family.
And that not only has it opened a door for these demonic presences, but they meaning the demonic presences just take pleasure in corrupting and working the opposite of what it used to be. Well, if you think about it, honestly, what are the values of Christianity? It's love, it's family, it's hard work, it's all those things. Honestly, if you look at broken families, along with broken families, generally come crime, addiction, theft, neglect, and so if they can break down families and break churches, so to speak, you're going to see a city rotten decay and just as a playground for those kind of entities, it's just bad news bears.
Now, as far as history goes, in my mind, Philadelphia is up there as one of those founding cities of the United States and so there's going to be a lot of a historical draw, the same as there is in Boston for that. So you, there's also in Philadelphia, because of the history, there's a strong and deep-rooted presence of the occult and esoteric groups historically. And we work with a lot of occult and as we have talked on this podcast, occult doesn't necessarily mean bad. Occult as was defined by Doc back when he was on a little bit more regularly was just something that's hidden and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Chad, look, you look like you were going to jump in and explain that a little bit better. No, just, there are lots of things that the different mainstream religions don't share openly with other people. The temple ceremony for the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints. People could say that's a cult, it's hidden, it's not something that's openly shared.
You can get to it if you want, you can search for it, you can find it. But, again, sometimes people, when they hear the word occult, they think evil, but if you look it up in the dictionary, occult means hidden and it's hidden truths and it doesn't necessarily mean that they're evil or bad, it just means they're not available to everyone. They might be secret, secret doesn't mean bad. By that definition, like this colon bones that we talked about in Boston could be considered a cult, even though it's not religion.
And I should say occult, not cult. Yes. It's a hidden group. Now, and this is going to go back to intent.
There could be some groups that just do things and they just want to do their own little thing and not a big deal. But there are people that are going to be doing their own little thing and it is a big deal. And it does open doors for these demonic entities to come in. And once those doors are opened and that entity is there, they're not going to say, oh, I had a fun time, we're heading back.
They're going to stay there, they're going to continue to cause strife and cause division and cause turmoil and tension and all these things that demonic entities strive to do. Well, and with that, a lot of the clergy who have helped put this stuff together said that some cities with entrenched crime develop what they call spirits of violence or domination. And so along along is what Raven's saying, this kind of stuff is going on all the time, i.e. drugs constantly or gang warfare shootings in the city.
Yeah, all of that kind of stuff. Right. We're going to feed off of that and they're going to perpetuate it. I've got a little tangent for you.
Got to have clarification. The number nine that I referenced earlier is actually from a Beatles song called Revolution Nine. It's from 1968 wide album featuring repeated word number nine in a chance several times. When you play that track backwards, it says, turn me on dead man.
Turn me on dead man. So just interesting little thing. Now there's one where you've got a little a cult in the music. Interesting.
Behind the scenes. I don't know if all of you guys remember the John or the Paul McCartney was replaced. Conspiracy theory. Very interesting back in the 70s with Billy Shears and so that's a whole nother rabbit hole.
It'd be fun to go down. A lot of those lines are just sung by information society that has some back masking. And if you find it and play it forward, it says stay in school, winners don't do drugs. Anyway, interesting.
So let's talk about the next city on our list. It is and this one to me is not a surprise in any way, shape or form. And one thing before before he says the name of this city, I don't even notice the direction we're moving. We started in Boston, which is far, far east.
We've gone west towards Philadelphia. Now where are we, Castle? We are going to land in San Francisco. It's a nowhere over the West Coast West Coast, North California.
And I don't think this is really going to be surprised to anyone. There's a theme if you haven't figured this out yet. And a theme is kind of again, I'm painting with a really broad brush here. I'm not saying there's not good people in these cities.
I'm not saying that there's not cool cultural things in these cities. I'm just speaking generally about the issues in these cities. So San Francisco has got a really strong secular anti-religious culture in parts of the city. It's a birthplace of the hippie movement, the free love, the do drugs, all of that kind of stuff in the 60s, which persists to this day.
A very extreme far left. And I don't mean to get into politics in this, but the extreme far left is as you will. God is that you're your own God. Do your own kind of thing.
Take on life. It's also the birthplace of the church of Satan. That is, and the thing. That is, and the thing.
Yep. We did a podcast on him a while back. Interesting podcast. Yes.
Now, one of the things that I noticed is it says, and when I say it, I mean, Father Rippinger, he says that there are just some certain embracing of ideologies that contradict Christian teaching. So keep in mind, again, we're looking at this from the Catholic point of view, and we're not trying to tear anybody down. We're doing this from a particular point of view, this particular episode. But any deliberate rejection of God's law, regardless of what religion you are, and regardless of what law is going to open a door for any entity that's against God.
And people are going to vary on their interpretations of where that is, and that's completely up to you. My interpretation of what goes against God is going to be different than yours, and that's fine. We'll all find out one day exactly how that all works. But for now, any deliberate rejection of God is going to open a door to bring those entities in.
And it just tends to be a little more severe there when you look at what the Catholic church teaches. Well, and one of the things to look at too, there are a certain hierarchy of sins that can potentially bring in demonic entities. Obviously, if you start the church of Satan, that's going to be one that's probably going to open some doors. If you're worshipping deities other than God, you're going to open some doors.
But one of the big ones, and I think a lot of people don't really think about this, are sexual sins. We've talked about the child abuse scandal in Boston. We've already talked about God is the creator. He has the power to create.
And in through sex, we are able to co-create with God, and I don't mean to get preachy here, but it is power that's been given to us that God can create. So that's a powerful thing. And so misuse or abuse or perversion or twisting of this ability is like near the top of the hierarchical sins. You've got child sex abuse, you've got murder, you've got social- Trafficking.
Trafficking. And you really just believe. But again, San Francisco was the birthplace of a sexual revolution, the free love. Like you can just have sex with anybody wherever you want.
You can have sex with five people at a time. You can do whatever you want, which is counter to what's been not scripturally, what's been believed through most of Christendom. And so that's a big perversion of God's loss of us, because something that's going to open up huge doors to these type of entities. Now the interesting thing I found with what they say about San Francisco is everything there has made it so that the money can't do is they don't even hide.
They're just there. So in addition to the free love and the things that you're just talking about is the drug culture too, and how open the drug culture is and homelessness. There's signs of social brokenness. And it's just open and out and it's just visible everywhere and it's accepted and almost embraced.
Well, the one thing that a lot of these cities have in common, and again, we're painting with a broad brush, is there's some societal breakdown between drugs, violence, and the breakdown, whether the breakdown is worked with a chicken and egg type of situation, is a cycle breakdown because of the demonic influence in the city or is the demonic influence in the city because of societal breakdown? We really don't know. But it's an interesting thing to think about. What other things about San Francisco though that we didn't cover?
It's also been an active area for new age beliefs, pagan communities, the occult. So San Francisco's a hotbed for all these things. It's kind of like a little petri dish of godlessness for lack of a better word that these entities feast on and just turn out and open again open our drug use, things of that nature. And on top of that, tolerance for these behaviors I think is just as big a deal as behaviors themselves.
And I think it even goes beyond tolerance into acceptance and promotion. I would agree. I think promotion was huge, especially back in the 60s when it was like free love come here, do whatever you want. And San Francisco turned a blind eye, applauded, and like you said, at this point almost welcomes us.
Yeah, that means that we have family in San Francisco. We love you, family. Many of the people are great religious, moral, wonderful people. Absolutely.
It's just a high concentration of activities and things that bring on possible demonic influence. And one of the things you'll notice with all of these cities is they're all high population cities. So again, you like we stayed at the very beginning. It doesn't mean that everybody there is demonic.
It just means because of certain things going on, there are larger pockets of demonic activity than you're going to find in any other city in the United States. Now again, as we move on to the next city, I want you to again notice just jock jock jock jock jock jock jock jock jock! Last episode was her drinking episode. This one, everyone needs to have 911 on speed dial because one of us is going to end up in your room.
I get to pick some asper to thinner blood geographically speaking. I want you to notice where this next one is, which is Los Angeles. Los Angeles I think is super interesting. And there's a lot of reasons why I think Los Angeles is on this list.
And I think there are valid reasons. First off, it's the global entertainment industry, like the center of global entertainment industry, like where do you go to be famous? You go to Hollywood, which is LA. LA basically encompasses numerous cities, but it's geographical area.
Like we call were based out of Utah or just outside of Salt Lake, but you can serve County Salt Lake even though there's a dozen different cities there. The word isn't geographically it's geographical, whatever it was it's before. So LA you've got Hollywood, it's the center of the global entertainment industry. And so these demonic forces are working to influence our media, which you can see.
I can remember when I was a child and I suspect Raven will remember this, where if it would be said the effort wants our parents to lose their mind. Do you remember that? Yes. Yeah, if there's a movie with one effort and our parents will just like this thing's the biggest piece of trash you need to turn off.
And most of the shows I watch nowadays, and I'm sure it's the same for you as well, the effort is almost used as a comma. I hear it in the schools all the time, but this comes from our media. I think our society reflects what media is feeding us. And if these demonic forces can influence our popular media, they can influence the whole country.
Well, I don't remember a time to where you would watch the news and they would give you the news and then you could think for yourself. And I think a lot of ways the way it is now, everyone has their agenda. And it doesn't matter, again, we could stick our politics here and we don't want to do that. But it doesn't matter which side of the political wall you're on, different channels are going to tell you what to think.
And I remember, Castle, this is where I thought you were going, but you went in a different direction. You might remember this and chat, I know you do because we've talked about it. But I remember being able to watch KSL News, it's a local news station here, Utah, and they would give you the news. And when the news was over, I can see the guy's face, I can't think of his name.
But then after the news, after the facts, he would say he would do a KSL editorial when he would say, okay, based on these facts, this is how KSL interprets it. And I think any more of the media tells people what to think and takes away the ability for people to think for themselves. Right. And so these influences can really take advantage of that and feed us what they want us to know.
Yeah, they work on a narrative that they're trying to spin to us. And whether that's on the left or on the right, you've got to be very, very aware of that and say, what is it they're trying to get us to do? What are they trying to persuade us to do? Many times they're not just listening down, here's what happened and here's the facts and letting us decide they want to give us their point of view and they want to make their point of view our point of view.
Well, and one other thing too, if I can point out with Los Angeles, and there's a few other points that we'll cover, but the Los Angeles area is also the hub of organized crime and pornography. Most pornographic materials produced in the LA area. And again, this kind of goes back to what we talked about San Francisco and sexual immorality is one of those things that can really influence bring an open door to the demonic activity. And so LA is huge for producing this stuff.
And if it's being produced there, it's being distributed everywhere. And I was an SVU detective for five years of my career, and that's SVU's special victims, you know, that's child sex abuse, adult rape, stuff like that. And the correlation between pornography addiction and child sexual abuse or other sex crimes was pretty astounding. There were not many suspects I arrested who when I got to interview him, and to find out there was a pornography component there.
And so I think if I'm not saying everybody who looks at dirty pictures is going to become a child in the street, that's not what I'm saying, just to be clear. But it can definitely influence those people with a predilection to act on those fantasies or whatever it is they have. And so with this coming out of LA, that is really affecting the whole country, having that kind of material produced and distributed out of the LA area. But along that lines, most of the people that you interacted with that were involved in these things were involved with pornography and those other things.
It doesn't necessarily go the other way. It's not, oh, if you view pornography, you're going to be a child molester. But most child molesters view pornography and have had that before. Right.
And it could definitely, there's some people who were influenced through those fantasies to move that dress. Not saying that would have used stuff like that, it's going to become weird. But those were already weird. It certainly pushes them in that direction, if that makes sense.
Yeah. There's a lot of people that drink alcohol, but not everybody that drinks alcohol becomes an alcoholic. Right. So another thing about the LA area is the wealth and the materialism.
And money is God there. Money, status, prestige, prestige, the worship of wealth, the worship of status, the worship of fame, which is going to be pride, which is going to be greed. And that is definitely going to open doors. Yeah, there's really a lot of stuff going on in LA.
LA's got probably more things than most as far as things that would invite demonic influence, things which would perpetuate demonic influence. Another thing out of LA too is when you've got all these different things going on, you have the rich and famous exploring strange occult practices, witchcraft, demonic things, occult symbolism, things like that. They get into drugs, trafficking. It's just like a gigantic cesspool, petri dish of bad things that can happen.
And again, not saying there's not amazing people in LA because I know there are, and the whole city's not that way, but all these things do kind of fester in and around LA. Exactly. And there's nothing wrong with being wealthy. There's nothing wrong with being famous.
There's nothing wrong with spending a lot of money on designer clothing, if you can afford it. But the problem is, again, your intentions and it does fame and wealth and money, does that come before being kind to your neighbors and helping the poor? And that is the only thing that's, I don't know personally, because I don't have a lot of wealthy famous friends. But I do know of wealthy famous people that are very generous and kind and giving and that's not what they seek for.
It's not what they worship. They just happen to have a lot of money and are famous. Yeah, and wrapping up, I do think after all the things we talked about, one of the real critical things that we touched on a little bit earlier is the culture that has a huge influence worldwide of the things that are coming out of the media and how it's produced in movies and television and everything else. And I really think that's one of the reasons when you say it's such an impactful area with demonic influence is because it's produced and then it's re-broadcast over and over and over hundreds of thousands of times all around the world.
All right, this next standalone list is one that I have you been to the city, Raven? I have not the chat house. Okay, so Chad might know what I'm talking about. So this next thing on the list, we're going to go to the south coast.
So we've done some East Coast, we've done some West Coast. And by the way, there's five more cities in the next episode. So we're going to probably hit both of us coast again. But we're going to go south coast this time.
We're going to go to New Orleans. And I have been to New Orleans and I completely totally utterly understand why the city's on the list. In fact, if it wasn't for some other factors and some other cities, this would probably be my probably number one city just based on what I experienced in southern that area. So I'm going to tell a little castle story first about my visit to New Orleans.
I was in the military. This has been probably 22 years ago, which makes me sound really old because I am. And I was in the military. I was down in Camp Shelby, Mississippi doing an annual training.
And we had a day offer pass and so many and several other soldiers decided we're going to go visit New Orleans. And before we went there, we were given some very explicit instructions to not take anything with us. What identifies as military. We were advised to move our wall storefront pockets.
We were told not to tell anybody we're military. And we were receiving a lot of warnings and admonitions before we went. So when I got to New Orleans, we went to Bourbon Street. And the first thing I noticed, and again, this is a little LDS kid in his early 20s, there were like adult theaters everywhere, like XXX Theater, XXX Theater.
And this is before internet was huge. And so people still went to adult theaters. I don't know if they still do or not. It's not really my jam.
But I was like shocked because there's just like these open air adult theaters. And then on Bourbon Street, there was just it was like bar, bar, transvest type bar, t-shirt shop, vampire occult store, bondage, SVDM, bondage, sale mask of store, bar, strip club, bar, vampire store, every store was either a bar or a sex shop of some kind. And there was like, I don't know what you call them these days. They keep changing things on me.
I'm just gonna say transvestites. There are men and drag. There we go. Men and drag is what I'm looking for.
Out in the street actively trying to get people to go into the drag bars. It was just from a wholesome standpoint, Bourbon Street was a cesspool of just den of iniquity is probably the term I would use to describe Bourbon Street. I have just never seen or experienced anything like that. It was very, very dark.
There are food stores, a lot of magic stores. There's just a lot of stuff focused on very dark things. And if you think about it, New Orleans has a strong history of voodoo and full magic traditions. And you can see that just walking in Bourbon Street.
What was your experience down there, Chad? We'd been down there for a cruise. We left out of New Orleans for the cruise and spent most of the time on the cruise. But when we came back, we did a tour of New Orleans and went through New Orleans.
And most of it was by the daytime. And we'd gone down through Bourbon Street when it wasn't crazy during the day and saw the different architecture and the different things saw the graveyards above ground and they explained the 10 foot pole thing that I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, which it's interesting that has to do with sliding bones in the off-viewer down behind so they can put a new body in and dry out. A lot of really interesting things, a lot of historical things. But Bourbon Street, as we went through it, and again, this was during the day, we had an opportunity to go back later that night.
And we were to start from the cruise that we opted out of that, just because there wasn't anything there as we had gone through on Bourbon Street that looked like it would be something that was up our alley, just because it was what Castle just described. And it was like that wasn't the kinds of things that we were into. We're not drinkers, we're not partiers. It didn't have a lot of appeal to us.
We were interested in seeing it as at a distance. But we've seen it in documentaries and all of the other things. So yeah, it doesn't, I don't know, that lifestyle doesn't do anything for me. So we actually opted out of going to night.
But I found it very interesting, like Castle said, there are all sorts of weird little shops and the voodoo and all of the other things. During the daytime, we were able to go in a little bit and see some things and it was fascinating, but it's not something I wanted to participate in. Based on my visit to Bourbon Street, the term I would use to best describe it, and I hope if anybody was a deep moral decay on Bourbon Street. And I didn't see the whole city, but just from what I saw Bourbon Street and just around the area, I think that along with the voodoo practice, the magic, the deep paranormal stuff going on, I see there's just a lot of really negative things going on there.
Okay, so here's my take on New Orleans. First of all, this is a city I really want to go through one of these days. Let's go put that out there. Keep in mind I've never been there.
But I want to see, I love, I really have kind of a morbid fascination with old cemeteries. I want to go and see some of these really old cemeteries. You say vampire shop and I get what you're saying. And so I don't want people to think, oh I like vampires.
But again, I'm just going to throw it out there where it's going to come down to intent. Was it, I think you're going to have to be careful of the vampire shop you go to, the voodoo shop you go into, because some of it might just be, oh look, here's a fun ludu at all. And you might have some where they're doing some legit hardcore voodoo, which is where you need to be careful. But there's some that just like, oh look, here's some fun vampire teeth that you can put on and oh you can buy a cape, it isn't that fun.
And then you're going to have some that are hardcore, oh look, you can buy some blood in a jar and go drink it. Again, it's going to come down to intent and how serious you are about it. So I think that when you're there, you've got to be really, really careful what shop you go into. And you think you need to be very careful of what you get mixed up in.
And I'll give you an example. I have a friend. It's actually the wife of one of my backpipe students, but I'm going to call her a friend because we chat and talk and stuff. So her daughter went to New Orleans for choir tour, I believe.
And so they're there in New Orleans, but you go to the French Quarter, right? And you go around and you go around and you go to the voodoo shop and she'll buy her mom a ludu at all. And I look at what in New Orleans about your ludu at all. Hold this gal, my friend texted me one day and she's like, this ludu at all.
I talked to me. She's like, no one's in the house. I think the daughters are youngest child. And so daughters at school, husbands at work, she's an author, so she works from home.
And she's like, this lothoxamine, it kind of creeps me out. So we dealt with that. But you're going to run into nasty stuff there if you're not careful. And then you've got Mardi Gra, which we really didn't talk about.
And basically, I've never been to Mardi Gra, I've seen it on TV. And it's okay, it's a party. You've got to pray, you've got fun, but Mardi Gra has gotten very famous. And I think because you get a little too much alcohol, a little too much drugs, but it's gotten famous for just out and out debauchery.
And it's not that you can't go to Mardi Gra and have fun. It probably depends on where you go. Like if you go to Las Vegas, Las Vegas isn't just the strip. So Mardi Gra, I'm sure isn't just the French Quarter.
And you can have a lot of fun with it. But if you go to certain parts during Mardi Gra, there's going to be just some flat out debauchery, which is going to be a door to open up for demonic influence. And then while I'm ranting, one of the things that I thought was interesting, just reading this father's account of some of the city, he says that there are the debauchery is celebrated, it's encouraged. And he says that there are places that are so thick with demonic presence in certain areas of New Orleans that to pray is literally physically exhausting.
Like if you were to nail down and say your prayers. And he said that the spirits that are there are ancient and just extraordinarily resistant to any sort of cleansing or clearing, just with everything that's going on down there. Beads beer and boobs. You say that.
You sound like you have a little too well. No, I'd have to watch that. So it's a lot of cops. Yeah.
Hey, I watched that too. Keep and our dad was a policeman. So we watched a lot of cops in our family. So keep in mind, I want to go to New Orleans.
So we're not saying any of these cities are bad. We're going to say that over and over again, because I don't want any feelings to be heard. These cities have history. They've got great things.
I think I've been to all of the cities we've talked about so far with the exception of New Orleans and Philadelphia. Not a city on here that I wouldn't want to go to and visit and eat food and see some of the local stuff, but because of the history, because of things that go on there, there are pockets and areas that are darker than anywhere else in the United States. Yeah, I think for me, I've been to all of Mexico, Philly and Boston. Go to Boston.
I love it there. No, let's stare. Their demons are kidding. I'm kidding.
All right. We want to talk about anything else. But one thing you want you to notice is the geography. We can speak properly.
At this point, we still have five cities to go, which we will address in our next podcast. But already, we've kind of circled the United States and we have five more to go. We haven't anything on the north edge of the United States. So maybe somewhere in Minnesota or North Dakota.
No, just kidding. I don't think we'll see. We'll see you next time. So you have to tune in on the next five cities.
Exactly. All right. Let's give a shout out to our hosts, Radio Ronin. For those who haven't let's already listen, they release two episodes a week on Monday and Thursday.
It's like a really good morning show without the music. So some good pop culture, some good banter, some good laughs. It's basically a pop culture comedy show and it is worth every lesson. So go over to our friends over at Radio Ronin.
I just listened. I just started listening to the latest one and they talk about cats. So it's fun. They do.
Chandler found a cat or a cat found Chandler, one of the other. He did. Interesting. So while this will oftentimes sponsors our tools in the Widows web with rec, but he's not here today.
So I know Castle got a new tool. Actually, it's an old tool. Oh, it's an old for him. So maybe make me make me make me you're a pick, you're a pick me.
You have a pick me. You picked. So one of my favorite all time goes hunting pieces equipment that make me so happy. I know it's been controversial.
There's some to say that it's programmed to just do what it does. But I have found and verified that it actually works. As anyone who wants to know how I verified that I've actually got recorded session of me doing an EVP session. And I'm asking yes or no questions with the Ghost Meter Pro.
And I actually have yes or no EVPs to verify my yes or no answers in the Ghost Meter Pro. So I know it works. So the Ghost Meter, it's like a clear device. What's got like a red button on the front, the end of it's red, and there's a little needle in the window.
And there's two versions. There's the Ghost Meter and if you want eBay right now type in Ghost Meter, you can see what this looks like. And you can probably buy one there, run around 50 bucks. And the Ghost Meter is just like an EMF meter.
It just reads EMF kind of like a K2. And it's it looks cute, but it's not really it is what it's an EMF meter. Who we? EMF meter cheaper.
Right. Go buy K2. It does the same thing. Actually, my opinion works better.
It's cheaper. Now, that being said, for a very short period of time, there was the Ghost Meter Pro. And the Ghost Meter Pro had four functions in it. Now the Ghost Meter Pro, it has a section that you can ask yes or no questions.
And you get the needle to bounce once or twice. And you can tell the experience once for yes, two for no, one for no, two for yes, you pick what it is, you tell the spirits and they can bounce that needle once or twice. Once for no, two for yes, or by source, that doesn't matter. You just set up the parameters, let the spirit state the work.
So the Ghost Meter Pro was available for a very short period of time. And then for whatever reason, they just quit making it. And it is impossible to find. I was excited because all about a year ago, I found Ghost Meter Pro on eBay.
I bought it. I was so happy. And then I got home and I came to my house. I opened up and realized it was a regular Ghost Meter in the cellar.
For some reason it used Pro in the description, he offered to buy it back. I just said whatever and gave it to somebody else. But I've been searching far and wide for Ghost Meter Pro and Raven ran across one other day and got it for me. And so Raven is like my favorite version of the whole world right now.
Yummy Swig still. I do owe you Swig. I will get you a Swig gift card because you're awesome because I now have a Ghost Meter Pro. And I used it our last investigation and it was amazing.
Welcome. All right, so hopping onto the junk door, which is sponsored by the Huey Shpforming Arts and Cultural Events Center. And also creations by Emberly. And I know I said preforming.
That was just a slip of the time. It's performing arts. So they've got a lot of fun stuff that they do there. We'll be going there later this year.
They've got karaoke. If you're in karaoke. And if you need anything, die cut, wood, stickers, cardboard, Emberly will cut it for you. So if that's something you want, just get ahold of me.
And I can get you her contact information. So we talked about some pretty, so we talked about some pretty deep stuff with those demonic cities. Some stuff that can be a little controversial, a little deep, a little embedded in politics, a little embedded in religion. We tried to skirt those but still give some good information.
So now we're going to get into something a little lighter. Some possessed things that priests have run across. Or should I say possessed with my little air quotes, allegedly possessed things that priests have been asked to come and bless and exercise. And we're going to go along a little, little, little lighter thing here.
So one was a possessed houseplant. There was a priest that said someone asked him to bless their houseplant because they kept dying and they thought it was cursed. And apparently the priest suggested water and sunlight to see if that might help rather than exercising it. I have to say, I'm just going to cut in right here as a police officer.
I think this is just one of those conditions of humanity. We all, every single one of us at moments in times in our life are stupid. And I'm not immune. If you hear this down to my voice, you're not immune.
