In the dead of night, as people sleep, that's when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three, dark things take power. We like to call it the supernatural hour. What if Jessie's Girls was Stacy's mom?
And her name was Jenny and her phone was a 675309. I'm confused. My name is Blown. Hey everybody, welcome to the supernatural hour.
This is absolutely whether Stacy's mom is a Jenny. Jenny's got your number. Stacy's mom has got it going on. I wish that I had Jessie's girl.
Who's also Stacy's mom? Alright, hey welcome to a new episode. I am your host, Castle. We've got a full crew tonight.
To my right, we've got Randy Simmons, aka Dan. I'm here. I thought we dropped that. I don't think she likes that.
You know what? I'm actually going to be a grandma in March. So, whatever. Didn't we take a poll or say something about people suggesting what we should call her?
Yeah, we did. We suggested doing a poll. We never did a poll. We never did.
What's card Jan? The whole ladies and gentlemen. We also have Silent Dawn. Hello.
We've got Peaches, aka Brandy. Hello, hello. We have got Tim, aka Beaker. What's happening?
Where's the Beaker, aka Tim? What's the guy in the corner? It's the guy with the beard. I have names.
Lots of them. Don't put Beaker in the corner. And we also have got lurch with us tonight. Tonight, we are going to be talking about signs of demonic possession and what that entails.
The grace, encroachments, and everything else. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's talk business. A hundredth episode coming up. Tim, tell us about the hundredth episode.
I've got my business socks on. Go ahead, Tim. It's business. It's business time.
Ting. Oh, I'm making that into a sense of weight. Wow. So get with the program.
We do have, so this will be this episode that you're listening to right now is episode 99. So the very next episode that we record after this one will be episode 100, which is a 100 milestone for us because we've been doing this for four years and we're just barely getting to 100. It's half of 200. It's half of 200.
Twice of 50. We have some mathematicians. A quarter of 400. How many do we need to say it to make a sound awesome?
A dollar worth of episodes. The square root of just. It's two words. Yes.
What we're doing is we're recording live-ish. We're recording in front of a live studio audience. It's the best way to put it. At the family tree restaurant.
Oh, we're not recording now. I'm not. No, not now. I'm just trying to make it.
Go ahead and let's talk. Okay. We'll put a laugh track in just for you. Thanks.
Because last week you were so hilarious. I'm just kidding. But I'm bunch. Should we bring it back to the room shop?
No. Anyways. Yeah. So we'll be recording in front of the live audience at the family tree restaurant.
We're going to do kind of like an ask me anything type thing where we'll have a microphone set up and you can come up and ask us questions on the podcast and we'll answer them. Please keep them paranoid related. But we'll answer other questions as well. Tickets are currently on sale.
Our investigation tickets are sold out. Those went really fast. Yes. We do still have tickets available if you want to come and just like have scones and soda and other treats will be provided as well.
Just kind of watch and participate in the podcast. Best going to our presence. There may be red vines. Oh, can we do twizzlers?
There's definitely a red vine. Twizzlers are gross. No red vines are like plastic. They bring your own twizzlers because those are like plastic too.
Okay. So here's what's going to happen. The red vines are already purchased. And I will bring fresh twizzlers that are delicious.
That are disgusting. I like cold hard. They'll be still in soda. Delicious.
Delicious. Just so you guys are aware. That's right, Brad. As Tim mentioned, the tickets for the investigation portion sold out really fast.
Those who want to come and watch us record and ask questions and experience the ambiance of family tree. Those tickets, none of you all will touch those. You know what? I'm going to throw in a little incentive here because someone did bring up a very valid point.
Santaquin is kind of far away to drive just to get scones and soda. So I'm going to put this out there. If you buy one of our $10 tickets, we will give you $10 off of your next investigation. You do it with us.
Boom. Oh, I like that. And those tickets are $10. And keep in mind, even though you don't get to stay for the investigation, we will give you a tour of the facility.
You'll get to see where Luz hangs out. So even though scones in a drink and you don't get to investigate after, you still get to kind of get a tour and walk through and get an idea of what it's like. Like a history lesson? Kind of.
I know a lot of people express that. They are like freaked out about family tree and it scares them. They don't want to investigate. This is your chance to come see it without investigating it and deciding for yourself whether it's too scary or if it's worth coming back when we make a future investigation there.
And to be honest with you, it's one of our favorite venues. We'll actually talk about some recent investigations coming up. It's a fantastic venue. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite places too.
So that's what I have to say about that. It's fun for all. It is one of our popular places. Family friendly, not so much.
Well, it's the family tree. It is the family tree. It is the family tree. It is very popular.
Our tickets do sell quite a bit. So we're in the works. We might make that like an investigation. We do every other month on top of our monthly investigations that we're currently doing.
Another thing too. So people understand is we try really hard to make sure that when we do our public investigations that we put together quality investigation, we don't try and like sardine everybody into a venue. We sell the number of tickets that can reasonably fit in there without compromising the quality investigation. So family tree sells out fast because we don't sell them any tickets because we don't want to jam pack.
You can what was the number of people they told you they could support their team? They're at 48. In the back of the room, yeah, they said they could put 48 people in there. Yeah, we've never even tried to get that many people into that venue.
We usually cap out about 16. It would be horrible for evidence. Yeah, because we want you guys to have a good experience. So that's- I mean, I could sell 48 tickets and make a ton of money off of that, but that's not what we're doing that.
But then they'll come back because they've got the evidence. Yes. And really with this 100th episode, and I know we're kind of hammering it to death, but this is not a money maker for us. This is the cost of what the venue charges us and the $10 tickets as your drink, your scone and the additional treats that we plan on bringing cookies, sweet delicious red vines, Twizzlers, red velvet cheesecake.
All right. All right. I'm not giving you. So again, there are some tickets left.
Join us for a 100th episode. You can pick those up at events, purnamel.com, events, purnamel.com. And you should be able to see the links there for that event. Next up, let's talk recent investigations.
It's been a busy couple weeks since we recorded last. Again, residential investigations. What do you got? So it's been a little slow, but we had one couple days ago that actually turned out to be really cool.
So this might be a little bit of a story. So we got a text from someone that said, oh, you know, we need to get a priest out here and do an exorcism. And you know, bless people's hearts. You know, I get that the purnamel can be scary if it's something that you know, are not familiar with.
You don't deal with a lot. But half the time I have to just say, okay, let's not get too excited. Let's just go see what's going on. We need an old priest and an old priest.
There's projectile piezou being vomited. Yeah. We hate to poo poo people, but at the same time we also don't want to get overly excited and barnstorm in with a young priest and an old priest ready to do an exorcism. So we went and the problems that the family were having focused mostly around a younger daughter that they had.
I'm 11 years old. And she was seeing shadow figures and she was suddenly acting bipolar and normally wasn't. And she screamed in the middle of the night, you know, night terrors, type screaming. And it was just really wearing on the family.
And you could tell when you went in the home, you could just tell kind of the tension between the parents. So in the course of the investigation, when we went downstairs, we found a portal. A couple of us could see a type three coming out of the portal, just kind of popping in and out. And it wasn't related to the house.
It just kind of knew that we were there and kind of passing by and kind of like, hello, what's going on here. But there was a grandma spirit in the basement and she was the spokesperson, spokeswoman, whatever. And she was kind of protecting about 30-ish spirits that were down there that didn't want to go upstairs. And so we thought, ooh, now what's going on upstairs?
So we went upstairs. And because we, the investigators that were there, we kind of broken into two teams. The second team was coming down. We were going up and they said, well, there's a type two female up there, but she's not talking to us.
And that team was mostly male. And so the team that I was on happened to be mostly female. We get up there and she actually would talk to us. I think she was a little less intimidated.
But long story short turns out, she was about 15 years old. She was a suicide victim. This daughter that was having these problems was quite a talented dancer. And this spirit was very, very jealous of this girl's talents.
The spirit had been bipolar. And so we feel like maybe she was projecting. We could also tell it, the daughter wasn't there, but asking them other some questions. We feel like the daughter's empathic and was maybe feeling the emotions from the spirit.
Yes. Mention about one of the other investigators and the symptoms that she was having. Yeah. So when we first pulled up to the house, one of the other investigators was with us that it's quite sensitive.
She says, oh my ear's ringing. Yeah, before we even went in the house. And that's what prompted me to ask the question, you know, did you have a head injury? And since I asked that, the other investigators said, oh, it's the right side of my head.
I mean, just the things that the other investigators feeling kind of thought, you know, well, maybe I'll ask this question. And while we were asking these questions, when we first got to the house, the mom seemed very, I mean, arms folded. She seemed a little bit standoffish like she didn't want us there and, you know, skeptical. And as we were asking this type two questions, she just, I mean, her jaw dropped her.
She's like, oh my gosh, yeah, I mean, because she was kind of standing behind me. Every time we asked a question, yes, that's what's been going on. You know, and she really opened up, which was kind of cool. So we were able to get the type two spirit crossed.
We were able to tell the mom and dad some hints and helps and things to do for her daughter to help the daughter learn how to control her abilities. And I sent a text to the family the next day and I said, you know, had the last 24 hours ago. And I said, you know what, instead of screaming in the middle of the night, but like she normally was out of terror and fear. She said, you know, she did cry out again, but it was more sad.
And so I said, I'll text you in a couple more days. We'll see how it turns out. But that one was, you know, every investigation we do is rewarding, but some, everyone else will just kind of strike a chord and this one struck a chord with me. It was kind of cool.
Awesome. Is that the only one you guys have had since we last recorded? I believe so. Awesome.
I know we did our two back-to-back family train investigations. I believe you were there for both of those. Is that correct, Tim? Yes.
Take it away. Okay. So, we're actually very eventful. Friday night, one of the things that we did find out is I've got this kind of older picture that was taken one of the first times I was ever at family tree.
And there's been some debate between Castle and myself on this picture and whether or not it's legitimate. I'm going to interject right here. And I'll have to say is what you showed me last night or night before is last night. Yeah.
Was cool. All right, proceed. So there's been debate on this photo for about three years on whether or not it's a legitimate photo. Now let me give you the background of why there's been debate.
I hope you don't mind me bursting in right here, Tim. Oh, we can debate it on the show. So it was on a public investigation. There was a couple with this.
It was a lady in like a black and white plaid coat and her, I believe, husband. And he was behind her. I can't remember what he was wearing, but some kind of coat and a ball cap. And they had a teenage daughter with them by teenage.
I'm talking like 18 because we don't have teenagers on our investigations. She was slight in stature. She was small. And the photos kind of fuzzy.
The shutter speed was a little too slow for a. The photo is actually really clear. That I'll still argue with you. But the photos are a little blurry, but the couple was pretty confident that the gray shape that was between them near Tim was their daughter.
And I was pretty confident that because I was looking right in front of me and there's no one standing in front of me. There was no one there. And so we've kind of debated back and forth. Peaches has said that that is actually the spread of the refer to as Lucy in the photograph.
I've also pointed out to you that you can see like the wall and the sled through the person. Right. And I've been kind of back and forth because their daughter did have a gray hoodie and was there. And so it kind of, for me, it was kind of like on the fence until last night.
So when I was the first night of family tree, I pulled up the photo and I showed it to Corey who works at the restaurant. And she pointed it out to me that I kind of had it zoomed in a little bit. And you can see very clearly in the photo on this gray figure that Castle thought was an actual person. You can see a face in the whole, in the gray mist.
There's like two red eyes. You can see the nose, the mouth and everything. I wish I was just going to see the smug ass look that Randy's given me. Which was interesting because we've been looking at this photo for years and it wasn't until Corey pointed it out to me the other night that that face was there.
Like she's not about it the whole time. It's possible she's told us about it before and we've just somehow forgot. I think I remember that. She said something.
But we've been looking at this photo for literally three to four years. And I saw it. I pointed it out to Peaches and I pointed it out to our other medium brandy, Bulo. And yeah, all of us just kind of got the heebie-jeebies and the chills when we saw that we recognize that face was there.
Peaches didn't even want to look at the photo. I'm like, hey, check this out. I'm just like, no, why would you show me that? Is that the one that you showed me last night where you can see the silhouette with the head?
Yeah. Okay. Yeah. That is great.
Do we have this photo on our site? We can get it on the site. We can get it on the site. We can get it on the site.
We can get it on the site. The reason why it wasn't on the site is because this debate's been going on for three years on whether or not it's a legitimate photo. Yeah. And so I don't want to post it if we weren't sure.
But at this point, I think we can say it's legit. Look for that photo on events, paranormal.com. We'll have that when the show posts, it'll be there on the main page. You won't be able to miss it.
It'll be right on the front page. So one of the things I did notice at Family Tree, when we got back there, the last time Castle I ever had Family Tree, there's a cursive book that they have in the basement. And Castle actually, and I watched him do this, he picked up the book and hit it in a very, like discrete place that no one ever goes to investigate. Like no one ever goes anywhere where we put this book.
And he kind of described the spot where I put this. For anyone who's ever seen the original Raiders of the Lost Ark, when Indiana Jones is going down the tunnel and he watched the Great Big Spider web and he's covered in Trantulas. That's not Raiders of the Lost Ark, is it? Yeah, that's the first one.
Okay. I'm talking about Temple of Doom. But imagine the tunnel and him being covered in spiders and all the spider webs, that's where I put the book in a spot that was pretty much exactly like that. We're going to get bit five dozen times by Black Widow's reaching in to get it out.
Why is it always got to be snakes? So one of the first things I asked Corey is like, I'm like, so is that book still hidden or and she's like, no, it's downstairs on the table. I'm like, really? I'm like, we kind of put that in a place that no one should be going to look for it.
And I believe we actually had it confirmed with Peaches that Lucy was the person that made the book come back. Yes. And no one bothered to tell me this. And so I touched the book because I'm thinking the book's gone and there's a book there and I'm thinking this must be a different book.
And yes, I had to have Tim squirt me down with the anti-gust break. I had to cleanse her flash. It's too. Because I get down there and I'm like, are you flashlights on that book?
Yes, they were. Yeah, I'm driving the book. I touched the book. I'm licking the book.
So we did. I'm sorry, I learned trying to wrap the jeans. Okay. So we did have on during when I realized Dan had her flashlights on the cursed book, Peaches and I were in the room, obviously, at the time.
And we started getting information about one of the spirits there that we kind of didn't have before. There was two spirits, sort of. They called one of them Hank and one of them Henry. We actually found out that it's the same person.
They just kind of have like, it's not really schizophrenic or anything like that. It's kind of like an alter ego. So what we kind of figured out was the guy used to go by Henry. I am Tim.
And I'm Timothy. Well, so let me talk. Sorry. Mr.
I got to talk about everything. Proceed. Yes. So apparently when he was alive, he used to deliver coffee to the restaurant and they paid him a beer.
And he was a really friendly guy. Everyone they got to know the guy. It wasn't really cool. And they believed that he passed away and was still at the restaurant.
But every now and then on their investigations, they'd also get the name Hank. So we found out that what actually happened was Hank or Henry, the same guy, used to be a driver for Al Capone. And what I kind of gathered and I think Peaches come back me up on this one is that he got into an argument with one of Capone's men and killed them, took some money and then fled here to hide in Utah because Al Capone wouldn't come to Utah. Yes.
You know, if I was hiding from the mob, I would go to Santa Pintu. I can't think of a better place to hide from the mob than Santa Pintu. Especially 50, 60 years ago because Santa Pintu recently has been kind of a small city. That's probably the most politically quick way to say it.
Kind of a little. But yeah, so we got that information on Friday night. I think Santa Pintu claims to fame is that's where Gary Coleman used to live before he died. This is true.
I know we had some other activity. I know Deann had some activity as well. She was there the first night. Yeah, probably the most interesting activity I had because we had flashlight activity and the Dowsing Rods.
But our group was the first one that went downstairs with Lucy. And I've never turned the light off down there. I mean, I've been down there several times, but the lights already been off and I've just gone down with flashlights. Well, a couple of people from the team went down to put just a static recorder and they were coming back up and they left the light on and they were going up.
I said, hey, I've never turned the light off. So where is it? And I said, it's just the little pull string on the light bulb. And I said, all right.
So I was standing there and I had four people in my group and we were waiting for one that was just coming out of the restroom. And the fourth person was just starting to come downstairs. The third were behind me and the light went out. And there was nobody down there.
So I was like, oh, hey, Lucy. Hello. And then I went and touched the curse book. And that was my experience.
I do know on the second night it started, we started having activity before we even finished eating. I was trying to get hold of Corey because she was running a little bit late and I was just texting her to see where she was at. And as I was actually walking out of the Baker room that's on the main side of the restaurant and I had stopped to send this text and right as I stopped the heavy wooden door that was being held open. Like it's on hinges that keep it open.
Like there's no door stop or anything. It's just the way the doors set up as it's natural position with the hinges and everything is to be in an open position. I stopped and right as I stopped this heavy door swung shut right in my face. And I mentioned it to our investigator Mark, right when we were getting ready to start the investigation and we tried to debunk it and see if there was anything that would have made that door swing shut on me.
He would push it and every time he let go of the door it would naturally swing back open. So there's we couldn't figure out any reason as to why the door would swing shut in my face like it did. And Mark is an engineer by trade and he's like our chief debunker. If you guys like that I think of a better version on the team to try and debunk than Mark because again he's an engineer by trade he figured out how things work.
I trade you as an engineer. Yes. He said that one more time by trade Mark is an engineer. Okay.
Is Mark an engineer by trade by trade? I think so. Correct sir. Speaking sure.
I know lurch you were there with me on the second night. Do you want to talk about some of the experiences you had? You know I'm sure that I oh yes. Now was the generator for the fridge ever turned off at the beginning of the night?
No it wasn't. Okay. I had experience downstairs with my group but that might have just been natural. We were there in the complete silence.
You know there's nothing going on and then all of a sudden the generator kicked on for the fridge that was upstairs and it all scared the shit out of us. Other than that we just we had I'm sure we got a lot of EVPs. I still haven't reviewed any of my information I've been meaning to. Usually when I'm doing homework or something else I can sit down and actually listen to my recordings.
Let's see I'm trying to think what else you kind of put me on the spot. I wasn't really thinking about this. Give me a few. So I do know that at one point in time Mrs.
Castle had a. That's right. And the lurch and I we actually had to take her outside. Yeah.
She just figured out sort of wasn't feeling herself. Yeah there was another young lady there that also had a bit of a phenomenon as well and we had to end up cleansing her that night and gave her a priesthood blessing. Other than that you know just the usual it's always such a dark place. There's always such you know natural stuff that happens and not by natural I mean you know paranormal Lucy was active as always it took a little bit of time for her to come out of her shell by the time that we were done investigating the downstairs.
She was she was up at her full speed with making things light up and and activating flashlights and goes me to pros and K two meters and I think she followed us upstairs because by the next group they went downstairs and it was very light. It was very peaceful down there so I think that she might have followed us and you know maybe in the instigator I wouldn't be surprised if she tailed me you know for a while. So I know after we brought Mrs. Castle back inside the building when she was coming down a little bit as we were the three of us were sitting at the table.
I don't know if you saw it but I saw a shadow of a figure standing like right next to her. I did not but I also heard that there were a couple of orbs that were flying around downstairs. One of the crap and of course his name is eluding my mind. One of the Kirby kids he was recording with a full spectrum camera and he said that at I think two or three different points he saw an orb kind of fly into my head or behind my head I definitely felt the presence of a male figure standing behind me like a tall slender man that I know is down there.
Lucy I kind of knew where she was as well. Yeah kind of the usual run of the mill dark stuff that happens there in the basement. One thing I'm looking forward to is I know before we started the investigation while everybody was eating dinner the four of us you, myself, Mark and Mike all went to the basement and you actually took the book and hit it again. Yes so we're going to be back there obviously for our 100th episode I'm curious to see if the book makes an appearance again.
And this time when it was moved the binding broke it was already kind of falling apart but the binding broke into about three or four different pieces so now it's not even complete or whole. I mean I could see where it was placed and it's definitely falling apart so I'll be interested to see if it's put back with all the pieces on the same spot. I remember one of the things we noticed when we went down there too was that there were a lot of candles that had been burned almost like it was a seance or you know some sort of Ouija board act. There was a ton of wax.
Yeah. We flipped over the table that's right there you know it's just a piece of plywood on like a mill crate a box or whatever and we flipped that over so it had a clean service but yeah there's a ton of wax on the tabletop there. I can say that I honestly don't think we've ever used a candle on an investigation. I can't think of single time that we've ever used a candle or everyone's even brought a candle.
If we've used any light it's been the glow sticks that Dan suggested a couple years back. Yeah as I said I know we've burned incense before but I've never yeah no candle that we've ever used. It's crazy there it's always there's always so much phenomenon going on and I won't be surprised that when I listen to my EVPs that I get at least a dozen or so I'm in a handful of EVPs on my recording. When I believe some of the investigators have also got some audible EVPs they heard some whispering and stuff in the basement as well.
Yes I remember that now. It's been about two weeks since the last time we were there and so of course my memory is getting refreshed and jogged now but yeah I remember at one point we did hear an audible EVP almost like a sigh like ah. Yeah that was your group wasn't it? Yeah that was my group.
Yeah our group heard one too when we were downstairs with Lucy. We couldn't tell what was said but it was a couple of words and of the five of us that were down there six of us that were down there I think three or four of us heard it. It's just all of the stuff that we're talking about right now this is one of the reasons why we keep going back to this menu because it never seems to disappoint. Never fails.
I obviously didn't make these two investigations that happen to be on a work night for me so I would have to step out but every time I go to family tree I mean sometimes the activity level varies sometimes it's not as active as other times but there's always something that goes on there. It's the one venue I've seen two fill figure apparitions on. It's the one where I've seen people get actually attacked consistently a lot of people get attacked. We're trying to sell tickets for scones and that's a good thing you know you'll get reactions.
Yeah so it's one of my favorite venues too actually for that very reason. It is a lot of the way Santa Quinn is certainly not close to the Salt Lake Valley but it's again it's definitely worth it. I'm going to build a hotel down there just for investigators. The investigator hotel.
Yeah I'll put it right across the street and be like here so you don't have to drive this while you can like spend the night in the hotel. And the crowd that attacked you only have to walk across the street to find a while. And I'll give you a little bit of perspective the first night we had a gentleman and he comes quite often but he comes down from Idaho. So if you can come from Idaho you can come from Salt Lake.
I'll just throw that out there. Yeah what she said. Way to shame everyone. Do what T.N.
says and do it now. Exactly. Alright so next up it's actually been a really active two weeks for us. We actually invited to the Wasatch Improv Festival which we did just a few nights ago and why were we invited to the Wasatch Improv Festival?
It's certainly not because we're funny. Are you sure? I'm pretty sure. Oh I don't know.
My dad they're not going off of Lick's. Although I did point out the fact that since it was me, Tim and Mike Finley that Ghost Hunters come in two flavors, either fat or the skinny ones are weird which they didn't seem to think was kind of funny. But they actually asked us to put on a presentation at the end of their night of the festival. So we did we came down we talked about investigations we showed some photographs of some ghost pictures we captured and then they actually asked us to stick around with the comedians that were there for the festival to investigate the building.
The building is fairly old. It used to be a jail. Apparently it was a move theater at one point as well. Yeah and I don't know that we can really name the building we should.
But yeah it used to be a jail. It used to be a movie theater and it was fairly active. We were talking to a spirit named Emma who was just going crazy with the Ghost Meter Pro and the K2. She'd actually followed on the comedians there which he was pretty freaked out.
He was not on board with the ghost stuff as far as he was not okay. He was kind of freaked out once he found out that she followed him there. So I kind of made it up to pick on him all night. What was that?
I can't remember his name was a Sather Jason. I really was Jason. Yeah so I'd be like the Jason Fley here. Do you want Jason's soul?
Well he didn't think it was very funny. But to actually from him there was another spirit there that was a girl named Rachel. She was Tim's looking at Randy to get confirmation. She told me the girls.
I think I believe it was Rachel. I could be wrong. I remember. I could be wrong.
I would tell somebody that I would name the other Emma I remember distinctly. I believe the little girl was Rachel. There was the pervert spirit that hangs out in the window of the women's dressing room. We were getting that from him.
Mike Finley actually was getting some crazy results on the Dowsing Rods. Tell us what your experience there Tim. I know you were with a different group of stairs while I was in the basement. Not for very long I came down straight with you pretty much from the get go.
While I was upstairs they were just kind of going over how the Dowsing Rods and what worked. Then I came and joined you. We were getting a lot of activity on the K2 meter on the Gelsomere Pro and at one point I decided that it was a good idea to show you the investigation tool that I use sometimes. I used yours instead of my own which was probably a mistake because I have Selenite in mind.
It keeps me grounded and protected while I'm using it. I was using a pendulum to kind of entertain or show these actors one of the ways we investigate when the Gelsomere Pro is not being extremely active. It's got weird. I was using one of those made out of amethyst which is to me was kind of surprising.
I was just supposed to help protect you and release negative energy and put it in a positive energy. I can't remember what direction it was going on but it was making it just stopped answering the questions and just started going in this huge circle. It was a very pronounced weird circle. Before it would go either towards his wrist to his fingertips or from his thumb to his pinky.
The wrist to fingertip was I believe you asked for a member. Yes. The pinky was no but then it started doing this really weird huge circle. It was just I've never seen these pendulum several times and I started feeling this weird energy about me.
I ended up dropping the pendulum and pulling the cell in my pocket and just started pulling it from it. Everyone was like, you okay? I'm like, I'm good. I'm not using that anymore.
I just smell poop and I have a taste of copper in my mouth. That's all. Nothing to worry about people. So that was that investigation and that may be a venue that, well I know we'll go back because they've invited us there a couple of times.
This is the first time they invited us to actually present to the comedians that were performing there. We'll probably talk about that venue again. I doubt we'll be able to do public investigations at that location. Probably not.
So let's talk Stone of the Week. What do we got? We have this week. I'm kind of trying to round out my top five protection stones.
This week we're going with Tiger's Eye. One of my favorites. Why is it one of my favorites? Because it's backwards.
I have the Tiger? No because it's a stone that I got from my grandfather's house after he passed away and I've carried it with me in my home for a shoot, I don't know, 25, 30 years now. It's the stone that the new men felt inspired to make sure that they brought above anything else that they felt prompted that that was the stone that they brought me when they did the cleansing with me here on the podcast a few months back. So Tiger's Eye is another stone of protection which is why it's on my list of my five protection stones.
It's also said to bring good luck to whoever wears it. It has the power to focus the mind and promote mental clarity assisting us to resolve problems addictively and unclouded by emotions. It's particularly useful for healing psychosomatic illnesses, to spelling fear and anxiety. It is useful for recognizing one's own need in relation to the needs of others.
Bounces yin and yang and energizes the emotional body. It stabilizes mood swings and views us with willpower, purpose, courage, self-confidence and releases tension. Tiger's Eye treats the throat and reproductive organs, releasing toxins, alleviates pain and is helpful in repairing broken bones and strengthening the alignment of the spinal column. There are other colleges of Tiger's Eye.
Most of what people see is the yellow and black, the reason why it's named Tiger's Eye because it looks like the eye of a tiger. One of my favorites though is I have some blue Tiger's Eye and that is also for calming stone and it releases stress. I use it more so for relieving stress. I said that before we got to that part.
But both of these stones also help in opening up your third eye and connecting to your higher self. Boom. Alright, let's talk paranormal news. My stories are actually, well, I'm excited about what you're doing.
Oh my goodness. Go ahead and introduce it and I've got something I need to talk about. So brace yourselves folks. The summer of 2020.
Why is this news? We are looking at a brand new Ghostbusters movie. Duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh. Now here's the best part.
For anybody who saw that abortion that was the Ghostbusters reboot, this is not a Ghostbusters reboot. This is from the son of the original director. Yes, I even write me. And he said he grew up on the Ghostbusters set with his dad and he was kind of enthralled by the magic of it.
He thought it was neat to see the movie being made, love the story, love the characters. He talks about how he actually had a chunk of foam from the movie set from when they killed the state of March of the Man. Nice. Now he wasn't very happy with the reboot either.
And so he is in the middle of that. But you know, he also helped script it too. So isn't he partially to blame? Potentially.
The answer is yes. But this movie is actually going to pick up from where the old movie is left off. So it's going to take place in modern times, but it's going to be a continuation of the original Ghostbusters world with Bankman and all those race dance, all the other characters. Don't like half of them die though.
Only one of them is held. He'll be on the side. But yeah, you still got Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray and any thoughts? Very hot.
Thank you. That's right. But I'll go ahead. As I say, regardless, even if they're not in the movie, they will be part of the canon of the movie.
So it could be their kids. It could be another group coming in and taking over their stuff. It's going to be probably the first reboot should have been just a continuation of the first movies. And so that is the first chunk of paranormal movies, which isn't really paranormal, but those are the Ghostbusters.
So if you haven't seen the teaser trailer, I definitely recommend that you go out and watch that. If you haven't seen the Nerdist commentary on that, I definitely go ahead and recommend that to you as well. For those that have seen the trailer and haven't seen the Nerdist commentary, there's a couple things you might have missed. The one of the first things is when the camera is hovering over the ground, it's panning across the ground and then slowly lifts up and zooms in and all these in to the garage.
That's the barn. You're seeing all this activity. And the music that's being played is the same music that was in the library scene of the very first movie, the opening scene where they encountered the full figure operation. The other thing too.
The library. Yeah, the library. That's it. And then the other thing too, as the camera is starting to dolly in towards the garage, you see a fence post.
There's ectoplasm hanging from the fence post. A lot of people didn't catch that. I didn't catch that because it's just very brief, like just a few seconds, but a few seconds. And we all know ectoplasm relates to the presence of ghosts, especially in that movie where one of the famous lines is, he's sliming me, press liner.
And then the other thing too is that as you're approaching the actual garage, you see a lot of the, I'm not sure we could call it the flayers from the proton packs. You see a lot of that activity, the purple and lightning, electricity type stuff coming from inside the garage. But you don't see who is actually working on it. And there's a lot of speculation on the internet about what that might actually be.
The child that was in the second movie was just a baby at the time. There's speculation it might be him that he's grown up because he could be in his 30s now. It could be one of the original members of the cast. You know, after the the State Puff Marshmelloman ordeal, they didn't get the fame that they deserved and they were reduced to doing like children's parties, as you'd see in the second movie.
One of the other speculations that could be a collector, someone who's just a hobbyist that's into collecting and he's rebuilding the proton packer. He's got an actual proton pack that he's putting back into functioning work. So there's a lot of speculation about what that is. The Ecto One has the original license plate again, instead of the rebooted one from, not rebooted, but the sequel goes busters too.
They had a different license plate on that with the Statue of Liberty. So a lot of cool things, a lot of little small Easter eggs, I geek out on stuff like that. It's stuff that was checking out. Yeah, go to thenerdist.com and watch the clip.
It's probably about five or ten minutes, but they talk about some of those things. And if you're a geek of movies like I am, then you will definitely appreciate it just as much as I am. And the main character's name is Oscar, then it's definitely the son from the second movie. That was the child.
Now being that we're talking about possession a little bit later after your next story, Viga with the Carpathian was trying to inhabit the body of Oscar. Would that be considered possession or is that more along the lines of witchcraft? Because he was an older wizard, I believe, as the story goes from the movie. I'm going to link to witchcraft because I don't know that a human spirit can possess a human body.
Believe me, any human spirit can, but we'll get to that in our next story. Anyway, again, there's a clip on the internet. Go look at it. You can see it.
It's fast, but it's cool. And this is one that is there's a group in England giving a bad name to all other paranormal groups by hoaxing the police. The police were investigating a house in that which England, one sometime after midnight on December 18th. Oh, excuse me, the group was investigating a house in that area in England when the police were called.
During their investigation, the group called Proving Demons claimed to have found a bone in the wall after girls told them it was the body behind the wall in the house. The group not through the wall and originally found what appeared to be a Santadol and then a human bone. As a group realized this may in fact be a human bone. One of the members said, don't touch this.
This is now a crime scene. The group actually made a video of them finding this. The police came in and investigated and after the investigation, a police released a statement that a bone had been discovered at the address which initial analysis showed us possibly human. Police destroyed the bone which had been placed there as a hoax and they were trying to establish where the bone originally came from.
So the group actually brought the bone with them claiming that they had found it because it goes to all the police to try to get where this bone had come from. Is that just something that we're naturally supposed to carry around as investigators? We have human fingers on hand. Hey, we're working a kick through your wall because we think there are human bones here because they go set so.
Kick through the wall and toss the bone down. Look, there it is. Yeah, that kind of basically destroys your group's credibility in every single level. The police issued the group as the police put it strong words of advice.
I would translate that from a British English to American English as in they got their asses chewed. Yes. But yeah, so this group is just rolling around kicking holes in people's walls throwing bones down and saying, look what we found. It's a crime scene.
Who just carries a human bone with them? I don't understand. It's like Jimmy and Darlie. Besides Jimmy and Darlie.
What normal person? At one point when I was a funeral director I had thought about doing that but of course it's someone's human remains. I'd be desecrating their body. That's not cool.
We don't want to do that. I don't know what that would be though to carry around a toe. A big toe of someone. I don't think it's just me.
It's just me. Can we forget about the toe? I'm not talking to you. You don't have to disturb the apples because you don't really don't see their feet in the distance.
I'm really worried about some lurch's egg. Nothing. A pile of big toes. No.
No. No. No. No.
No. I never did anything immoral or unethical. I just had the thought at one point when I was screaming someone. I was like, you know, they're going to go in the retort here.
Are they really going to miss that pinky toe? How cool would that be to like a necklace of pinky toe? No. I'm just saying.
The fuck crossed my mind. No. No. Do you make lamps out of human skin?
No, I don't. We should talk about a game one time. I think we're talking about a game one time. Alright.
So that is our weird paranormalness. Sorry. Wow. We might speak to the show there.
No. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Alright. So let's talk about demonic possession and how that begins.
The first step of demonic possession starts with encroachment. Who would like to discuss encroachment? Do we want to define what demonic possession actually is first? Let's talk about the stages that get us there.
Starting with the encroachment. Really, there's different levels of demonic possession. Why don't you tell us about encroachment, Castle? Because I asked you guys.
Well, I'm asking you to tell us about encroachment. So what encroachment is the first step that comes with a demonic case? You look at the conjuring. You look at Amityville.
Encroachment is usually what starts the process. Usually it comes with someone who has brought something in, someone who's moved into a place where the demonic spirits already exist. And this is when you move in and little things start to happen. You start to hear knocks on the wall.
You find your keys or move from a point where you put them to somewhere else with no explanation. It starts with this little stuff that just kind of makes you think you're losing your mind. It kind of creeps you out a little bit but isn't really insidious to begin with. That's usually the first step.
And the things are really subtle. A new color encroachment. I always heard it as infestation. That's the next step.
Encroachment is the beginning. Infestation would be step two. The three that I heard were infestation, a presson possession. The three that I have dealt with.
It's the same. A little known one quite true. Before you get to the infestation part though, there is the encroachment or the invitation or because I know in the themeneologists they talk about the law of attraction and the law of invitation. Correct.
So the initial steps are encroachment, infestation, oppression, possession and death. Those are the five steps of a demonic haunting slash possession. So encroachment is that law of attraction where the spirits come in. Invited in.
It's kind of in the way it works because really the demonic spirits need your permission to interact with you. And that's what the encroachment is. They're kind of seeking permission. So don't blatantly challenge anything.
Right. So this is kind of where I'm talking to this little girl who died on the property through my Ouija board. I'm talking to grandpa. Yeah.
Open invitations are bad news. Don't ever say like, oh, little Lucy wants to follow me home. Come on home with me little Lucy. Exactly.
