Denise is an Ñ, and you may be too.

“Who you are is actually a declaration.” Denise is someone with a Big Idea. She lived for years with this idea locked away and unexpressed, until she couldn’t take it any more. It was time for her to speak, to take this Big Idea out into the world, and to face the one thing that had been stopping her all along: Herself. Denise had to shift and grow to be able to step into the big shoes she has set before her. Her Big IDEA? A movement she created called Project Ñ with the slogan: “Two worlds, one voice”. (You can see why I love her!) So what is an “ñ”? An “ñ” is a first-generation American-born Latino who has at least one parent from a Spanish-speaking country. Although each individual person’s details vary, every story reveals commonalities about the shared ñ experience in America that collectively defines this generation. Denise quickly discovered that she wasn’t alone in her experience of feeling caught between two worlds with a big responsibility. What to hold on to… and what to let go. How to create… and what to reinvent. The struggles, responsibilities, and privileges of both of her identities led her to step into a new mission: to heal a generation of people with a shared experience. This is how Project Ñ was born.
