Dennis Nayor / Ret. Multi Agency Chief / Adjunct Professor / Blue Leadership Podcast Host

from Law Enforcement Life Coach / Sometimes Heroes Need Help Podcast · host John Kelly

This week I had the pleasure of sitting down with Dennis Nayor, retired multi agency chief and consultant. Dennis and I discussed leadership, culture, and how we become part of the solution. Dennis delivered so many great insights during our conversation. Sit back and give this episode a listen and come away better for it! Until next week, take care of yourself and each other, God Bless, John https://www.linkedin.com/in/dennis-r-nayor-m-s-lepsl-6a4448124/overlay/contact-info/http://dennisnayor.com/[email protected] am a retired sworn law enforcement professional and multi-agency police chief with over 25 years of experience in municipal policing. I served as the Chief of Police for the City of Ithaca Police Department and prior to that served as the Chief of Police for the City of Oneonta Police Department. Both agencies serve vibrant, fast-paced, and progressive cities in Upstate New York. Upon retirement in 2017, I assumed the role of Director of Research, Development, and Training for the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police. In this capacity I led the organization’s efforts in improving and advancing the policing profession while serving as a resource for over 500 police chiefs and command level officers throughout New York State. Upon retirement in the Spring of 2021, I accepted a faculty position with the University of San Diego, teaching in their nationally acclaimed Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership (LEPSL) Master's degree program. Here, I also serve as the host for the University's Blue Leadership Podcast series which highlights today's leaders and the key issues facing law enforcement throughout the country.                                                                                        SHOW SPONSOR - ON TARGET CLAIMSThis episode is being brought to you by "On Target Claims" - From Setback to Settlement On Target Claims is a team of certified and experienced Public Adjusters in Florida who have helped thousands of insured get the maximum amount for their residential, commercial, wind, water, fire, hurricane, mold, yacht and marine claims. We have the knowledge and experience to properly investigate all potential damages including all of the hidden damages that may not be obvious to the untrained eye. Since insurance companies are notorious for conducting haphazard damage investigations using preferred contractors to determine your loss our claims adjusters will create an accurate inventory of every item that was damaged so that we can prepare a detailed computer generated estimate to substantiate the true value of your loss and get you the settlement you deserve.https://www.ontargetclaims.com561-208-1775954-329-0399Thank you for taking the time to give this podcast a listen.
