Clocking in at 7:11, "Guitar Therapy" is a celebration of Dennis's recovery from a potentially career ending wrist injury and the continuation of his ability to play at a high level. It also is an homage to some of Dennis's guitar heroes like Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Muddy Waters, Andy Summers, David Gilmour, Chuck Berry, and Eddie Van Halen. It also doesn't hurt when you have Marc Golde recording it at Rock Garden Studio.
