DePaul Lands UTRGV Guard Koree Cotton

DePaul coach Chris Holtmann secures his sixth transfer portal pickup for the 2022 recruiting class, Koree Cotton, a six-foot-six guard from UTRGV. Cotton, who averaged 13.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, committed after an official visit and turned down offers from Miami, Kansas, Kentucky, USC, Providence, and Ole Miss. Known for his defensive skills, Cotton joins a growing list of transfers, including Ade Popoola from Tulsa and Magoon Gwath from San Diego State, bolstering Holtmanns third class at DePaul.
