"Depending on God" by Pastor Ronnie D. Simmons

This episode repeats the April 14, 2023 airing. Co-hosts Tamara and Charisse decided to share Pastor Simmons words of wisdom days after the 2024 Presidential Election as a way to focus believers on the fact that God is truly in control. Simmons, shepherd of the nondenominational House of Faith Christian Center in Smyrna, Tennessee, gives practical, Holy-Spirit led advice on what it means to depend on God. As the first guest of the Emunah podcast, he uses John 14: 1, 6 to focus attention on God's son Jesus. The Bible tells us that we must believe on Jesus Christ before we can begin to depend on God. Pastor Simmons says there are six things we need to believe about Jesus: 1. Believe "who" He is. Colossians 1: 13-17. 2. Believe in what He taught. 3. Believe what He commanded. John 13: 34-35. 4. Believe His promises. John 14:12. 5. Believe what He did for us on the cross (He saved, cleansed and washed us). 6. Believe what He's doing for me right now. Romans 8: 31-39.
