O Ministério da Defesa não publicou nesta sexta-feira (31) ordem do dia, para ser lida em batalhões e quarteis, em comemoração ao golpe de 1964. A decisão foi do comandante do Exército, general Tomás Paiva, com anuência do ministro da Defesa, José Múcio Monteiro.  Nos últimos quatro anos, durante a gestão de Jair Bolsonaro (PL), a ordem do dia era emitida com elogios à ruptura democrática no país.
