Deprescribing #36 Chris Downey, VaxCalc Founder and Director

from Deprescribing Pharmacist · host Dr Leyla Ali

Chris Downey is the founder and Director of VaxCalc Labs, the informed consent technology company. VaxCalc is the first business that celebrates vaccine hesitancy, providing a structured process, compassionate support, and a global online community for informed vaccination decision-making. VaxCalc expresses Chris's dream of creating a powerful force for good in the world by overcoming censorship, strengthening and spreading freedom, and creating community. A two-decade veteran health-freedom advocate, Chris did his own research to protect his children from excessive over-vaccination and the one-size-fits-all dogmatic thinking that afflicts many pediatricians. In 2016, he fought successfully to protect and preserve Virginia's religious exemption. And in 2021, he was an active part of the parent's revolution in Virginia that swept Governor Youngkin into office, campaigning door-to-door with his daughter in overwhelmingly Democrat neighborhoods. VaxCalc is the result of 20 years of research, software development, and advocacy - and it's the first and only service that provides a structured process, compassionate support, and an online co vaxcalc dot org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * We are doing a weekly Deprescribing class to help people find better solutions for their health.
