depressing birthdays

i'm alone on my birthday. birthdays have immense pressure -- to do something extravagant, have a plethora of friends, a surprise party.. just like every damn youtuber or influencer ever inaccurately portrays. i'm happy for them, but sometimes god damn we need some reality. and my 22nd in LA is definitely one of those boring-ass birthdays with some tears shed. also - like wtf is with us counting and calculating who wished us a happy birthday? and if they don't, feeling bad about it? i'm sick of this unrealistic standard!!
