Im Mai 1991, beschließt Andrea Steffen (damals 15) mit einer Freundin aus dem Kinderheim in Neubrandenburg auszureißen. Andreas Freundin allerdings, macht am Ende doch nicht mit und geht zurück ins Heim, als man dort nach Andrea fragt und sie suchen möchte, hat sie wohl jemand gefunden, der sie nach Berlin zu ihrer Schwester mitgenommen hat, denn Andrea wollte trampen. Leider aber, kam alles ganz anders. Andreas Leichnam, wird 5 Tage nach ihrem Verschwinden aufgefunden in einem Waldstück bei Warnitz. Andrea wurde vergewaltigt, und ermordet. Viele Jahre später, gelingt es den Ermittlern sogar eine DNA Teil-Spur zu generieren, es werden Massengentest vorgenommen, später wird auch Andreas Mörder gefunden, seine DNA Spur passt allerdings nicht zu der gesuchten. Weshalb man trotzdem sicher ist, den richtigen gefunden zu haben, ihn aber trotz eines Geständnisses nicht mehr verurteilen konnte, hört ihr heute Abend um 17:30 Uhr auf meinen Kanälen.
