Derek and Shelaine Maxfield believe that change begins with individuals. Together, they created Saprea, a nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors of child sexual abuse find healing while also providing families with tools to prevent abuse. Shelaine, who serves as board chair, speaks internationally about hope and awareness. Derek, co-founder of Younique, combines his professional expertise in technology and business with his philanthropic drive to support Saprea’s mission. In 2021, Shelaine and Derek Maxfield established the Maxfield Family Foundation.
