Derek Jacks :: Neglect Not the Gift :: Hebrews 2:1-4 :: August 23, 2026

Welcome to the Homewood Cumberland Presbyterian Church Sermon Podcast.Today’s sermon was preached on Sunday, August 23, 2026, and is titled “Neglect Not the Gift,” based on Hebrews 2:1–4.Hebrews warns us to pay careful attention to the good news we have received, lest we slowly drift away from it. The danger is not always a deliberate rejection of faith. Sometimes it is simply neglect—allowing our hearts to wander from the grace and salvation God has given us in Jesus Christ.Yet the gospel calls us back to Christ, reminding us of the greatness of the salvation he has accomplished for us.So, wherever you are listening today, may you hear God’s Word with renewed attention and gratitude as we hear the sermon, “Neglect Not the Gift.”
