Derek Jacks :: To Those Who Are to Inherit Salvation :: Hebrews 1:5-14 :: August 16, 2026

Welcome to the Homewood Cumberland Presbyterian Church Sermon Podcast.Thank you for joining us as we gather around God’s Word. Today’s sermon was preached on Sunday, August 16, 2026, and is titled “To Those Who Are to Inherit Salvation,” based on Hebrews 1:5–14.The opening chapter of Hebrews gives us a magnificent picture of Jesus Christ. He is greater than the angels, eternal in his reign, unchanging through the ages, and worthy of all worship. And because of who Christ is, those who belong to him can live with confidence and hope.Hebrews reminds us that God is at work on behalf of his people—those who are “to inherit salvation.” Our hope does not rest in our own strength, but in the Son whose throne endures forever. So, wherever you are listening today, open your heart to God’s Word as we hear the sermon, “To Those Who Are to Inherit Salvation.”
