Deren Ney

Early days at the Gilman club, becoming an expert at making music videos, being a strange kid with cool parents… dealing with a close friend committing suicide at a young age, and then again, later on… his cool vintage guitars, what he does when the chips are down, exiting a long-term relationship and the (positive) consequences from this, being more trusting, loads more. Heartfelt convo with a very talented songwriter, guitarist and video producer Deren Ney co-founded and played lead guitar for Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, playing Newport Folk Festival & Bonnaroo… he later spent time playing at Phil Lesh's Terrapin Crossroads & was involved in that scene. He recently launched his first solo single and has another one coming out shortly.
