Derkack Reopens Recruitment, Top Programs Line Up

Aiden Derkack, a highly-ranked shooting guard, has decommitted from Providence, opening up his recruitment. The six-foot-five senior, ranked 66th overall and 17th at his position, had previously chosen Providence over schools like Dayton, USC, Villanova, VCU, Indiana, Maryland, Oklahoma State, and Xavier. His decision comes as Providence prepares to part ways with head coach Kim English. Derkack is praised for his versatility, energy, and good instincts, but could improve his outside shot consistency.
