Derry Girls- Episode 6

Huge thanks to Ashleigh for commissioning the finale episode of Derry Girls! It's been a minute but we're finally here, with a sweet and rathe poignant episode. Most of this episode centers around Erin being rather mercenary and taking the place on the school newspaper of a girl who is literally on her deathbed. Everyone else resigns in protest, and she's left to come up with a whole newspaper worth of content on her own...which leads to her dipping into a stack of anonymously submitted papers for a school contest. And guess who's gay!The ending of the episode is simultaneously heartwarming and very sad, as we see a bunch of friends coming together to support one another at the same time that a news report broadcasts a terrible bombing. It's very well done. I certainly hope I get a second season!Thanks for listening, and enjoy the show!
