Designer diagnosis. How do know what your clients really want?

from MyFixitUpLife home show · host MyFixitUpLife Mark & Theresa

Top designers are talking about their strategies for ‘designer diagnosis,’ sleuthing out what people really want in their interior design. Designers tread a careful path when trying to find out your true interior design dreams. What we say we like, isn't necessarily what we really want in our homes. It's the designer’s challenge to decipher, extrapolate, and really compare your taste, style, and day-to-day lifestyle. Being able to translate what you say, who you are, and what you do into a design that comforts, inspires, and delights you is what separates the very best designers from the rest. We are talking to three extraordinary designers on today’s show about their ‘designer diagnosis’ style. The ‘Latina Martha Stewart’’ Vanessa DeLeon and the ‘Two Lovely Gays’ pair Russell Whitehead and Jordan Cluroe.  Vanessa DeLeon may be best recognized from NBC’s ‘American Dream Builders.’ She also has shared her design expertise on Food Networks, Restaurant Impossible, HGTV’s Generation Renovation, Designer Challenge & more. Vanessa has a signature 'Glamilistic' style that's developed into luxurious and succulent design experiences. But it all started with designing a Barbie house. And, yes, we’ll be talking about the ‘50 Shades of Grey’ bedroom she designed, too.  The ‘Two Lovely Gays’ Russell and Jordan became sensations in Britain after participating in the The Great Interior Design Challenge on BBC Two. With an exuberance and cutting-edge style the team are making over spaces that dazzle our senses. But the real star of their clan may be their dog Buckley. If you need quick advice for a home improvement project, check out our 3,300 blogs or 1,000 vidoes. Or just send us a note.
