In this episode, I talk about Kirin’s new “Elecisalt” spoon and cup—devices that use a tiny electric current to make reduced-salt food taste just as flavorful. The idea isn’t to add more salt, but to guide the taste toward the brain.What surprised me is how this technology might eventually help with sweetness too.
