Currently the Programs and Events Associate for DESIGNxRI, Samuels has made his return to RI after the past decade teaching and performing poetry throughout the country. Samuels activism is root in creative liberation through the intersectional lense of his Queer Black Jewish identity, believing that the creative sector builds the type of problem solving it will take to craft a truly liberated world.
