Desmonds Law - Animal Rights Advocates in Court

I am talking with Professor Jessica Rubin from UConn School of Law to talk about Desmond's Law, which will allow law students or pro bono attorneys, at the judges discretion, to advocate for the animal in an animal cruelty case in the interest of justice. We will talk about how she helped get the law enacted with her state senator, the difficulties they faced in getting it enacted, and how it works.
