Desperate for God’

from Pneuma Podcast

Based on Psalm 42: 1-8 ‘ is a reminder of need to find God in our desperate struggles in these difficult times. We live in interesting times, a time of desperation like never before in recent history, people are sick, jobs are lost, members of the human family are dying in droves, global economy is crashing under its own weight, majority of the nations of the world are in dire situations, the science community is scrambling to respond appropriately and our lives have been distorted. But the child of God must never give up in the midst of all these and that is if his/her desperation is towards God the Creator of all things. The Psalmist and as well as the Apostle Paul understood that peace is not the absence of trouble but a state of mind in times of trouble. We too can draw from those intrinsic measures of strength to help us convert failures into triumphs and maintain them through Jesus Christ our Lord and the one who had saved us.It is my prayer today that this Podcast becomes a source of blessings to you.
