Kevin A. Weafer brings a wealth of global technology experience in content development, digital, social and mixed realities. Currently Kevin is President & CEO of Spinar America, Inc. a leading global creative content company for development of augmented and virtual reality. Previously he was President, US Operations of Kudan Ltd. a multinational AR engine company based in the UK. Prior to this he was a VP with DAQRI, a leading HUD augmented reality hardware company, Director level with Compass Labs, a NEA, Jim Clark, Mike Ramsey funded API social media player. Previously, he was SVP, Director of Sales & Marketing for a Sequoia Capital backed company Access Media, Inc. and played a vital role in raising the company's valuation to over $90 million. Kevin was President of AT&T/MediaOne backed Student Net Publishing LLC, Cambridge, MA. where he was responsible for all day to day operations, directed strategic development, and successfully concluded a second round of venture capital finding. He held the title of Associate Publisher for Variety, Inc., a Pensky Media Company, where Kevin managed the successful turnaround of several unprofitable businesses. At Time Incorporated, he held a series of increasingly senior positions, including Managing Director of the Western Hemisphere for Time Magazine. Kevin is a graduate of St. Michael's College with honors and completed the Wharton Business School's management development program and attended New York University's graduate program in communications.
