Destress from pain Turn the dial down by listening to your body

from Esther's Oasis · host Esther

If pain has your body on high alert, this meditation is here to help you de-stress the pain response—the tension, bracing, and nervous system “alarm” that can make discomfort feel bigger. You’ll be guided into slow breathing, full-body relaxation, and a gentle shift in perspective so you can create space around sensation and reconnect with calm. This isn’t about forcing pain away. It’s about helping your body feel safer, softer, and more supported—so relief can become more available.✨ In this guided meditation, you’ll:✅ Relax the body and release bracing✅ Calm the nervous system with breath + grounding✅ Practice observer awareness (detaching from pain)✅ Turn down the intensity (without fighting)✅ Support healing with soothing imagery✅ Explore whether the pain is asking for rest, care, or something elseBest for: chronic pain, stress-related tension, flare-ups, recovery periods, anxiety and bedtime soothing.🕯️ Tip: Find a comfortable position, lower the lights, and allow yourself to adjust as needed. If you’re in severe or sudden pain, or symptoms are new/worsening, seek medical support. If this helps you, consider liking, subscribing, and sharing—it supports the channel and helps others find relief.
