In the Book of Psalms, David records many of the prayers of warfare that are used today. They are our foundation and example left to us by God, the Holy Spirit. The victories that David experienced paved the way for the peace and prosperity of Israel for many years to come. And so it is with us. The victories that we obtain through grace leave blessings for others to enjoy, and an example of faith, courage, and trust in our God. "Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies."
