Detour Sermon

Most of us have experienced times when life doesn’t work out the way we planned it.  Perhaps it is the loss of a job or spouse. This happened to two of the patriarchs in the Bible – Abraham and Moses.  When Abraham was in the plains of Sodom & Gomorrah, it sure looked like what he envisioned the Promised Land looked like!  Moses ended up fleeing the palace he grew up in and he tended someone else’s sheep for 40 years.  He eventually wandered around in the desert with the Israelites for 40 years and was not allowed to enter the Promised Land.  When we in seasons that are very different than we planned, we need to make sure we are seeking God’s guidance DAILY and listening for God’s voice.  Click here to get in touch.Click here to donate.
