Detox Supplements: Vitamin D3 with K and Iodine

So important for us to keep our vitamin D3 levels up in the winter months. Vitamin D3 is a fat soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium. It's important to take vitamin K2 along with it because it tells the calcium to go to the bone, not the arteries. Our bodies naturally make D3 when exposed to sunlight (20 minutes a day, exposed skin, sunscreen free is optimal) but in the winter that is impossible for many of us and so supplementation is necessary. I'll be taking a D3/K2/Iodine supplement this January. Listen in for why the iodine is an important co-factor.
