Deuteronomy 1: A New Generation Must Choose to Trust God

In Deuteronomy 1, Moses looks back on Israel’s journey through the wilderness and reminds a new generation of everything God had done for them. What should have been an 11 day journey became 40 years because the people refused to trust God, obey His command, and enter the land He had already promised them. God had gone before them. He had provided for them, protected them, carried them, and promised to fight for them, yet fear and unbelief kept them from moving forward.
