DEVELOPING A HEART OF WORSHIP!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." — John 4:24 (NIV) Devotional Message: Worship is more than music or singing; it is the posture of a surrendered heart before a holy God. Jesus reminds us that true worship is not tied to a place or ritual but is rooted in spirit and truth. It flows from a heart aligned with God’s presence and grounded in the truth of His Word. Developing a heart of worship begins with recognizing who God is—His greatness, holiness, love, and faithfulness. As we meditate on His character and goodness, our hearts naturally respond in reverence, gratitude, and adoration. Worship becomes a lifestyle, not limited to church gatherings but present in every moment of our lives. True worship requires sincerity and authenticity. It’s not about performance or outward expression but the inward devotion of a soul longing to honour God. When we worship in Spirit and in truth, we connect deeply with the Father, experiencing His peace and drawing closer to His heart. Today, ask yourself: Is my worship flowing from a genuine relationship with God? How can I cultivate a deeper, more consistent heart of worship in my daily life? Prayer: Almighty Father, I long to worship You in Spirit and in truth. Help me to grow in awareness of Your presence and to offer my whole heart to You. Let my life be an offering of worship that pleases You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
