Developing a Scientific Telekinesis Experiment: Hypothesis and Methods

Hypothesis Based on research suggesting that consciousness can influence matter, I asked if I should be able to do the same, how would I go about doing it at home, and how to show the process and results. By focusing on a specific numeral, either 1 or 0, I am able to cause a Random Number Generator to produce and display the numeral I focus on more often than not. Materials and Methods 1. Two Galaxy S7 Mobile Devices 2. Random Number Generator Plus App by RandomAppsInc 3. Screen Recorder – XRecorder App by InShot Inc 4. 1 coin 5. Two index cards with numerals 1 and 0 written on either of them. 6. Skull Candy Hesh 2 Wireless Headphones 7. 1 Cross ballpoint pen 8. 1 Universal notepad Using a Galaxy S7 mobile device, I downloaded "Random Generator Plus" by RandomAppsInc., paid for the Pro version to eliminate interruptions from ads and minimize glitches for a more smooth work-flow. I selected the Random Number Generator feature labeled "RNG", I set "Minimum" to 0, "Maximum" to 1, set "How many numbers do you need?" to 1, and set "Exclude these numbers" to None. Using the same mobile device, I downloaded “Screen Recorder – XRecorder” by InShot Inc., so that I would be able to record the tests as they were being conducted; and just as with RNG Plus I paid for the Pro version to eliminate interruptions from ads and minimize glitches for a more smooth work-flow. I activated both apps and began recording. Flipping the coin determined if I was going to focus on the numeral zero (0) or the numeral one (1). If the coin landed on "tails" I would focus on 0; if it landed on "heads" I would focus on 1. For tests 1 and 2 I attempted to influence the outcome of the RNG by focusing on the idea and image of the numeral 1 or zero. Beginning with trial 3 I used the index cards with 1 and zero written on them to help focus on the selected numeral. In the case of trial 3, it was the card with 1 written because the coin toss landed heads up. For tests 8 through 15 I added a listening prompt to the trials by recording myself repeating the numeral 0 or 1, and using headphones while continuing to look at the cards with the coin on top of it. If it was 0 and tails, I placed the coin on the top left of the card, while heads was indicated with the coin on the top right of the card. RESULTS: 10 Telekinetic Passes / 5 Telekinetic Fails pass, fail, pass, fail, pass, pass, fail, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, fail.
