Developing A Successful Attitude About School to Work – Part Four

from Ask Dr. Applewhite

On September 11, 2010, our show will resume after recess at White Apple Institute. After recognizing the lives of the many lost on 9-11-2001, we will review and discuss how to support adult students and employees with developing successful attitudes. We have exciting guests lined up! Many people expect that the older person in a community is the wisest one without questioning their academic ability. This attitude has prevailed since the beginning of time because the older person has always been the teacher merely because he or she has experienced more time living. However, as adult learners (18+) become more knowledgeable in technology, computer communications, advertisement, sexuality, the entertainment industry, and so many forms of education appear more enchanted by the wise, mature person who can help them succeed in today’s careers. Very few adult learners find enchantment by the wise elders in the community. Let's discuss why? Visit us on radio by Internet http://blogtalkradio.com/student2teacher or call 1-646-727-3758, Saturdays 10-11am-AZ time zone and enjoy listening to our global broadcast or prior shows. Much Love and Peace, Professor Danita Applewhite &The staff of White Apple Institute http://whiteappleinstitute.org Tele: 480-659-8582 NOTE: We will be on recess for two weeks and look forward to hearing from our listeners. Please mark your calendars for our return to the STUDENT2TEACHER show on 9-11-10.
