Developing Enthusiasm in Bhakti

In this heartfelt class, Rasikananda Swami (affectionally known as Rasik Maharaja) explores how genuine enthusiasm in bhakti arises naturally as the seed of devotion is nurtured through hearing, chanting, and sincere practice. Drawing from the lives and prayers of great ācāryas such as Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura, Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Swami Prabhupāda, and Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja, he illustrates how divine love transforms limitation into boundless joy and service. Rasikananda Swami explains that bhakti begins as a small seed planted by guru and mantra, yet carries infinite potency—capable of blossoming into ecstatic devotion when watered by śravaṇam and kīrtanam. Through vivid reflections on Lord Jagannātha, the blissful moods of Vṛndāvana and the devotees, this class reassures listeners that even modest practice, done with faith, will gradually awaken deep enthusiasm and unshakable spiritual happiness.
