She had to work and Drake is not feeling well So we hope that they get feeling better because Drake hasn't been on for a hot minute either Why it's kind of been a little hectic for him as well. That's kind of what happens and for the business We are going to announce we have a public paranormal event coming up and that date is March 16th 16th at Petite school in museum. Yes in pacing. Yes, and it starts at 8 or 8 30 8 30 and goes to midnight, so we're really looking forward to it.
It's a great venue We're really excited about it. You go out to advanced paranormal calm and under the upcoming events There's a link there. You go out and get them. They're also available on event right, but we want you to get them from our spot But just get them when anywhere you can get them right and we apologize usually We usually this would be our second one of the year But we just had a rough time getting stuff scheduled this year We had a venue all scheduled ready to go They just had a double check at 8 and then they got new ownership and had to shut down Hopefully not permanently, but they're shut down for a couple months anyway We're glad to be going back to Petite.

Yeah, well and then on top of that when she got that name She was dressed up as Morticia from the Adam Stanley so that just added to the whole mistake of the name All right, and do we have to dress up again for this one? Well, you know, Easter's come and close you could wear somebody years I wish I had some Easter eggs for out the Okay, so bunnies would have the same effect Science we got to find out I don't have to tell you we did Petite neat two years ago at Easter time I think it was actually Easter weekend wasn't it?
I think we did it like the Friday of Easter weekend and a girl came with a shirt that had like a ghost bunny on it and I had to have one so I immediately got on Amazon about my arm So maybe I'll wear my ghost bunny. Maybe I'll wear my my haunted Easter ghost bunny shirt Because I haven't worn it yet. I've only been like two years and I have an opportunity to wear it So yeah, it's time to whip it out. It's the season about chocolate Easter bunnies I know I know Reese's pieces not Reese's pieces Reese's peanut butter cup bunnies This those are bomb.

So you probably almost make the entire podcast about residential But we won't because we've got a really cool topic. Let's start with I don't think I'm on Andy's house because everybody's gonna know who Andy is right and I don't think he'll mind so we've actually been to his house I have been to his house. I think it was 2020 and he had some activities actually quite sensitive and for him He wasn't scared by what was in his home.
He more wanted to understand it very interested in the paranormal process I was very interested in just seeing how we investigated and hearing what his spirits had to say but whiskey moon you were No whiskey you weren't there were you I was there you were okay. It was okay I mean we've had so many investigations recently. I can't remember which ones he was that which one he wasn't out So you and Moon were both there so Tell me tell us from your perspective. How did that one go?
I mean first of all pretty cool artwork on the house. Just shout out shout out Andy It was interesting because we walked in it didn't really feel like most house calls I feel like I don't know like usually you're like oh something's here But the ghost were just chilling it took a while for us to get a response in the back room And then when we kind of separated into groups moon and I got some responses from something that really just wanted to focus a lot To the point where we had to surround ourselves with like a two meters and you know little light up cat balls Trying to like prevent the sneak attack that kept happening and I don't know if moon if you want to give your your side of that Right, so we were just getting touched like my arm I was like I'm pretty dense like I tell everyone pretty dense So I don't normally feel people like I kind of get tingles But this time was different, you know and so I had my arm and then I was like I feel like something's messing with my arm and whiskey was like Me too like over here and then something was messing with my hand and then went back to my arm So someone was definitely trying to get our attention and I had an app up on my phone and We had words coming through and it said opera and interest I was like oh are they interested in the opera or something? Maybe they're from like the 17th or 18th century when that was a big thing, you know And we were singing a little bit and Raven was like what's going on back there? It was a good time.
It was a good hunt. I think that the thing I was interesting though It's like one of the words that came through we started asking yes or no questions based off of it Was it seemed to be somebody who thought they were astral projecting? So I wish Drake was here so we could talk about that because I know he's pretty versed in that and they also after Raven walked in Some more questions came to us not for necessarily help crossing over but for help getting revenge on somebody for something We think maybe they're arrested it was a very interesting conversation with somebody who recently passed and had a chip on their shoulder for some reason We're like sorry we cannot help you with that. We are not in the business of revenge, but we can There's a very treasure So Andy actually has a lot of Just a little relic that he has collected from various areas I actually came out because I wonder if there's anything that's connected or you know attached to one of these objects And so he and I are out there with these objects and there was nothing I mean these things were clean as a whistle Which is not always the case so if you find relics out in the wilds leave it there But you know we're out there and I hear all that here this singing I'm like well there's this way back there so at some point when we decided that these relics didn't really have anything attached to them We wander back into the room like what the heck is going on because there's whiskey there's moon sitting in the sea of equipment I'm like what on earth you guys leave you alone for five minutes and you all go crazy It's like every single piece of equipment you owned was on the floor.
It's like a landmine I mean we had more it was also on the chairs and on the We had equipment in the hallway Christian your equipment was in the hallway Going on guys, but there's if you're missing any equipment. I'm pretty sure I know where it's at Ultimately, you know, he was just able to chat with these spirits nothing super crazy was going on I think most of his feels he could just feel them there I didn't notice when we were first back in the bedroom on the bed the middle of the bed kept getting warmer warmer warmer And that would cool off and get warmer warmer You know He was able to get the answers that he wanted and you know like we said he mostly just wanted to talk to the spirits up there And then mister, did we get him a name mister opera singing? Revenge man, I don't think we ever got a name out of them They just want to revenge and we convince them to cross over and get their revenge themselves And it's just a reminder We don't know how to cross people over the spirits have the ability to do that themselves They just oftentimes forget that or just get so super hyper focused on other things that they don't literally lift their heads up to look around and see that So we just kind of draw their attention to how to cross them off they go Based off of how they relay what happens back to us there seems to be some consistencies, but We know what to do So then the next one that we went to was actually at my mom's house And if you have been listening to this podcast and all you know that for a long time My mom was very much an unbeliever in ghost hunting and pretty much thought that Castle and I my brother were going to hell Even though you're sure you're not well, that's Not that has nothing to do with ghost hunting for different reasons My lawyer has asked me to not speak on this matter I didn't really see any ghosts at my house growing up my little brother did the other brother not Castle brother And my mom didn't leave us but when the grandkids tell her that there's ghosts in the house and she gets all excited and has a scaller She knows that she's got two resident ghosts in her home. She also has an enormous portal that's over her house But it's a positive portal so she's got a lot of what we call passers-through You know just they just pass through and literally move on And so she had said that my niece was not feeling very well unless at her house one day and sleeping on the couch downstairs No one else was home and where my mom lives she doesn't have a lot of neighbors I mean it's not like she was on a really busy street the way her house is situated It's not like the neighbors across the street are outside talking But when my niece was there she just kept hearing a lot of noise a lot of talking a lot of sounds and my mom and dad weren't home And so when they got and banging in the back part of the basement banging in the back part of the basement I went my parents got home, you know My mom said hey, you know were you able to get any sleep and my niece said no There's so much noise and then my mom had a book club and you know had five or six ladies And they were talking about this book and laughing and laughing and then they stopped laughing for a minute And they heard a great big bang in the background my mom said there's just been a lot of Noise lately and she's not worried about it.
My niece isn't if she's getting a little freaked out won't go downstairs by themselves But you know doesn't bother my mom and my dad could care less if he remembers So we just went and investigated and she was pretty chatty She be she being so the two residents my mom have are two women There's Alice Sandra that's upstairs in her computer room and downstairs was it No, Marilyn was it Marilyn? Yeah, I can never remember she would let us forget I really liked her name called every time we said her name all the K2s would light up and she's a prankster She pretty much just she likes to be known as she likes to be talked to as you could tell by her everything would light up When we said her name she just kind of wants to be part of the fun And so I think she laid low for a little while and I think she just got kind of lonely But you guys got some really cool evidence. Yeah, I got a couple pictures of what maybe is a face, you know, I'm not sure and then kind of like a an orb that look like an upside-down smiley face Which was interesting like a series of three orbs and then the last thing that I caught my camera actually took a picture by itself And often the side of the frame it looks like almost a see-through kind of like skin colored mist maybe in the shape of a face That showed up. It was really strange that my camera just took the picture by itself anyways So that that was pretty cool and then visually we actually saw an object move Christie's little ghost speaking box I'm not sure what branded is what to call it, but we heard it go off It was just sitting there right near side of us and it went off and just moved at the same time And the set of words that said was I need this We're like, okay, I guess you do So then we brought it to the room and I know moon caught some pictures too and some other things I caught a couple pictures as well I got a nice mist and then as I was scrolling Then this goes by me which I was at by the door and then it kind of goes past whiskey and then toward the back corner and as Like a few pictures after he's pointing to where it had gone to and I got a little something there And then I caught some little black spot in one of my pictures Which was not there and it was in a couple of them and then it was gone So I don't know what that was there was no stain on the carpet or anything like that But it was interesting yeah, it wasn't it almost looked like a shadow, but it wasn't a people shaped shadow Well, that's hard to say I was it was almost caught a cut off on the bottom of the picture too We caught a glimpse of it, you know, yeah, whatever it was because I saw that picture when you posted it in discord and and That's not a that's not a people shadow and it wouldn't have been Like a thing shadow.
I mean my parents have a dog and a cat but they weren't they were sadly locked up But the brand of Christie's voice thing is parateck There you go I have one I haven't used to get time to figure it out But whiskey's making me a little handle for it one of these days when he has a minute Yes, I have to have to measure yours specifically I think but I have one that will probably work so the lab is hard at work on that so the last one we did Moon, I'm gonna let you introduce this one because you have a personal connection to this one as well Okay, so this is my son's best friend I've known him for I don't know six years and one day I was driving him home and he's like I think my house is haunted. I'm like is it well, let me tell you I can help you and So I hadn't seen his mom for a while. I'm like I need to talk to the mom I think she'd probably be open to it, especially the whole family thinks it's haunted, you know cuz Anyway, so I talked to her and she was like okay cool and Then I didn't hear from her for like a month and then she messaged me and she says some dishes are moving around We hear crashes downstairs So I was like alright, let's go So we got the team over and it sounds like mostly actually was happening downstairs a few things had happened upstairs as well TV's would turn on so we were investigating real hard downstairs and we got a little bit of K2 movement But not much like they were kind of eluding us and so we're kind of chasing him around with our equipment and getting some hits and then not getting hits But Sylvia on our team She was recording and she got just a crap ton of orbs just shooting all over the place and and then I don't know what happened I'm so curious but I was standing by a fridge. She said moon you just went blurry like what happened So I turned around and I'm talking to her and I was talking and my mouth was just being really glitchy and slow But that was like I was the only one that was being glitchy and weird and so it seems as if there was a Apparition standing in front of me or something.
I don't know Then we got some spooky fills in the back and I got an instant headache Raven You were having some different kinds of pains and things. Can you tell us about that? When we were downstairs we had a laser kind of pointed in an area that felt really heavy to us It's kind of an end of a hallway and we kept seeing motion in the laser lights and so There was like 200 baskets right there and I said you know where I'm seeing it is right between these laundry baskets and I think it was Sylvia that said yeah, that's kind of where I'm seeing it too and so we just kind of stood there and I had my heat gun You know my temperature gun. You know taking the temperature to see if temperatures were changing had a k2 out you know trying to get some you hit some the k2 and Sylvia's filming and she says the end you have just tons you're trying to get orbs around you and it wasn't dust orbs Because I went back and looked at her video.
There was a couple orbs later in the video that were kind of moving up in diagonal I think those were bugs. There was a great big pink orb that kind of flew over the tv and I think that was bling But there were some orbs in there. Wait, I think it was bling. What does that mean?
So Moon and I have bling on our okay, so reflection of bling reflection. Okay. I just didn't know it's like I hadn't heard that term before and it might have been me because it was pink and my Ghost hunter toolkit is pink. I was got bling on it.
So I think that one might have been reflection from my back But there was gigantic though like that that core was a huge. It was and yeah, but that one It's like I've got bling it's pink So I don't know but there were definitely some orbs in there that moved in ways that weren't bugs and weren't dust and wasn't You know camera refraction or stuff like that. There's nothing down there that was really well I mean there's a tv that was reflective but where the orbs were wouldn't have been reflecting off the tv Well in TVs are pretty static and stable and you wouldn't have something moving if it was reflecting off of the tv I mean coming from a static source And the interesting thing is that first one we went down into the basement from about three feet down all of our k2 meters were registering It was like was registering like three lights, but you got up at about four feet. There was nothing No, that is so weird, but we had the lights off But as we were down there a little longer and our eyes adjusted I could see something plugged into the wall and it was a Was it their router?
It was a Wi-Fi enhancer or something like that. I was like, oh, okay, that explains why the bottom half of the room has crazy high ema So we went back into their exercise room. Yeah, and in their exercise room because I said they had it felt creepy back in there and they had a great Exercise it. Yeah, kind of they had a great big floor to ceiling mirror.
I was like, uh, I'm here. I can't take mirror. Awesome I mean it had a little portal in the mirror, but we were able to close it No, that was a good investigation Um, we finally ended up upstairs There was a type three in the home and as our typical of all the type three's we run into in this area Pretty pretty chump change type three projecting itself to be bigger and scarier than it is After having a little chat with it followed her husband home and her husband works in corrections And so you know, he was working around a lot of negative energy negative emotions And so we we taught him and the family how to Protect themselves and how to leave things where they are not not let things all of them home So he was a good investigation. It's amazing today We're gonna talk about the devil doors of Notre Dame and I I wouldn't call myself an expert on Notre Dame by any stretch of the imagination I've been there a couple times. Okay, hold on a minute. Okay. Whisky do your thing.
Oh, uh, sorry Okay, yeah, okay, we can continue that's pretty cool But I've been to Notre Dame a couple times never been in it. I've only been to it So outside like that but I never knew the story. I have never ever heard of the double doors. Have you guys?
I have but I did take French for many years. So okay, like They're even in the hunchback of Notre Dame Disney movie Really? Did you know that the hunchback of Notre Dame is considered one of Disney's darker movies for kids? Really?
I mean, fantastic. I feel like scarred me for a bit, but I remember seeing Snow White in the theater and I'm not that old. It wasn't new in the theater It was a replay a replay in the theater. Am I great at taking me and at one point?
Now as an adult, I realized there was literally like five minutes left in the movie But I made her pick me out because it was just scary Any more on the topic of Disney. Sorry. I got this out here I just got back from Disneyland at the beginning of the month And I completely forgot that the mr. Toes while ride Is all about like breaking laws evading police getting hit by a train and then going to hell I'm in the middle of fantasy when I'm like, wow, Disney's got a dark side guys.
And it's haunted. Yes, it is. It's gotta be. Okay back to Notre Dame Yeah, so I thought this was really interesting.
So the other thing I learned when I was researching the double doors was I did not know that when they built cathedrals they built them from the back forward. Did you guys know this? I didn't know I was doing a great dad joke for some reason. I don't know why.
No, it's legit because the and I don't know all the words. The nave and the altar? Yeah, so like they build the important part first so you can go in and actually worship Because when you're building a cathedral over 200 years, you don't want to wait that whole time to start using it So they build that part first and then as they're building the rest of it, they You know, just continue going out. So these doors were actually the last thing that was put up Yeah, they're like the front doors for the cathedral.
So they put the front doors up. It's done. Okay. Yeah, there's still some work inside.
Right. But I mean as far as the major is yeah, the major outside Edifice was was done at that point. They're still work that was being done And so Notre Dame I didn't write down the exact date because it's been a bit a week But this would have been built in like the 1300s and so they're using very medieval tools very medieval techniques And if you look at Notre Dame, it is extremely detailed and you know, especially for the time and Just really amazing architecture and artistry with the stained glass the carvines Thousands of not hundreds of thousands of hours line butresses Yep, they're trying to find someone to do these doors because these are the main doors to this beautiful huge amazing Architectural masterpiece of the time still is I would say and so they're trying to find someone to make some amazing doors And there's this young metalworker. I don't know what his first name was but his last name was bicorn And he was fairly young and he was able to convince the powers that be that he was the man for the job So that you're several several several attempts.
He brought a lot of things for submission. Right. It wasn't like hey I'm your man. I'm like hey, cool.
Yeah, it you know, it took a lot of convincing a lot of Before so they say okay. Yeah, you you can make these doors go home make your design bring up And so now he's thinking well crap. I gotta come up with you know something really good And so he did what most Christians do when they really need some help. That's beyond them.
He prayed Right, he gets down on his knees. He prays not really getting anything So instead of praying to god He's deciding he starts praying to angels and starts praying the saints and he's just he's praying to everything and he's not getting what he wants So he decides well, I'm gonna pray the same so he did and After he prayed to Satan was it in a dream? Some inspiration of some kind. Yeah, I think it was a dream, but it some he was somehow inspired to create The doors that are on the front of the main doors if you've ever been there you have seen these doors You've walked through them.
That's how you get in they're enormous. You can't miss them and they're they're made out of wood and iron I mean the intricate scrolled iron work stuff and it is so intricate that even modern day metal experts modern day metal workers cannot explain how These doors could have been made so intricate intricately and Reproduced with the tools they had at the time. Yeah, but the same motif over and over and over I mean it's repetitive and with that kind of iron work and the kind of tools that they had and to make two doors or opposite mirror opposites of each other But they're identical except for opposite and the detail is phenomenal. Yeah, and modern day metal workers can't fit They're like we don't that's hard to do now.
They're like we don't know how they did it with the tools they have them Yeah with the presence and everything they have now. I mean it was all done with like hammers and Do you guys have anything you want to add? Sometimes I wonder are we diminishing the skill of this man by just assuming it was stated? So I'm saying I mean he probably dedicated his entire life to doing iron work and I like nope I think that like the more mysterious thing is like there's no proof that this man even existed So was it even a man or was it just Satan, you know, right?
And this happened in 1300 so all we have are stories But the stories that I found are kind of cool Maybe what maybe he was just a phenomenal iron worker, but the story gets a little creepier do tell So they they get the doors up and they they actually because this was like the last major thing They covered them up, you know, so they could have this big unveiling of the doors to the public because then whoo You know the cathedral was done and I'm using my earphones done So they have this big ceremony. They have the doors. They're sharing their champagne. I don't know what they do back then but it's France It's probably champagne.
That's why I said champagne at least wine. It was Scotland. I wouldn't said scotch But it's Paris so champagne they couldn't open the doors doors went open but move So they go to bicorn they go to his apartment knock on the door because they think we don't know how to open that they look Fantastic, you know, they're beautiful all this iron work But they're they don't do any good if they if they want open they try to everything to open his door Nothing happens so they go out on the door. He doesn't answer they go in to the apartment They found him hanging he'd hung himself and they found a letter and a letter in the letter amongst other things It said if the doors don't open use holy water So they use holy water on the doors and they opened that's kind of you think wd-40 would have worked There's our tech expert going at it That doesn't lubricate quite as well, but I guess you're give it a go So anyway, so that is kind of the main maybe they could use wd-39 131400, so maybe they haven't gotten quite up to wd-40 yet But here's an interesting thing is by corn his name B.

N. E B. I. S is In French as a word for like two or double It's a word for like not for two or double but for like more than one or like an encore It's like it's like a descriptor for an encore.
Okay, so it's I'm just gonna say I know in a French that I know it's not the word to because that's do right yeah Do a do play yeah, we're gonna. So yeah, I'm trying to say this to a French maker and corn is the word for horn So his name is literally dual forms or multiple horns or multiple horns now So besides these doors, you know apparently being made by or inspired by Satan people have said that they feel very dark around the doors I'm that they felt the heaviness by the doors that they feel panic when they're by the doors People have seen the spirit of bicorn hanging around by his doors almost like he's trying to Actually hanging by the doors because that would be I would actually get scared if that was Do you know if the doors survived the fire yes, they did he did it did it And most of the stained glass windows survived. It's pretty amazing what did survive from the fire Yeah, consider it wasn't that fire in 2019 So I remember watching pictures of that fire because it was on fire for several days and seeing the fire and seeing the pictures I'm amazed at how much wasn't ruined There really am yeah, that's something I'm going back to the doors real quick kind of give you a description. There's these swirly metal Working that vines but they're kind of I'm making swooshing motions with my hands It's kind of funny because at the bottom of the left hand door There's three of them and they look like 666 in the area and that the same pattern is repeated on the other door The other way but since it's a mirror image it doesn't look like the 666 But they've got that same pattern near the top that looks like the 666 on the it's on the right hand door Very interesting if you go out and look at the things look at either the towards the top or the bottom metal work of the pictures Yeah, it's really interesting because it's you know, they're not like hard-coated You know sixes, but you look at them and you go yeah, I see six and I see six six six Now you have to remember when when this was being built in the 1300s People at that time were very superstitious This would have been more or less the same time as like the witch hunts I mean, you know within 200 years, but very very superstitious things that they couldn't explain was always You know of the devil or of underworld or witchcraft or something.
So could this be just the people of the time trying to explain Why this iron work was so amazing, you know like Gox said was he really just an excellent master Brilliant metal worker and it freaked everybody out They did also say it was completed in an extremely quick time. Yes, the amount of work Yes, you know, that was an unnaturally amount of you know short amount of time in which he completed such an intricate metal work Was I didn't he do it by himself? I think there was a shop that worked out I heard both if you go out to YouTube and look at some of the videos and watch some of the different things on the devil doors Like so many things in the paranormal. There's nothing that I mean, there's not a lot of hard undisputed facts There's conjecture.
There's things that there's a lot of information and there are the doors the doors are there physical and they're amazing right and to my knowledge they were actually created by a man named by corn so Did this really happen is this? Just a super stitious legend. I don't know but I'm that person that I'm gonna lean towards the fact that it could be true because I Want it to be I mean the devil did sign his work on the doors with six six Basically on this beautiful at this point. It's definitely some coincidence coincidences that case solved Yeah, so as long as we are still in Paris before I move on Does anyone want to say anything else before I before I drag us someplace other than the devil doors the devil doors are very So Chad and I are actually going to be in France this June We may have mentioned this before my place bagpipe band and my band has been invited to go to Normandy this June and play for the 80th anniversary of the day and Long story, but we actually accidentally booked to go there a day early Which is at the end of the world.
I mean, it's an extra hotel room a lot better a day early with the tour than the daylight Right because if it was the day late that could get real sticky in you So we have an extra day with nothing to do in Paris So we're gonna go to the catacombs because we talked about the catacombs a couple podcasts ago We're gonna go to the catacombs and now we're gonna go see the double doors They've been there twice, but I never really looked at the doors because at the time they were just doors You look at everything else, but I'm gonna go look and touch the double doors if you get to Yeah, so there's gonna bring some ghost any equipment Yes, yes, I like it probably nothing too sketchy looking cuz I don't want to end up in the French But I will be taking something I don't want to end up in a dusty of course I did to be some pretty fantastic ghost something there too anyway, so come Middle of June end of June podcast. You know stuff lots of lots of stuff and things I before this fun little secret while we were troubleshooting some recording issues I did show off the progress on our bell ringing polarity sensing answering device So should look pretty cool But one thing on it that stays on all the time just so you can kind of see it in the dark and make sure the battery didn't die Is a blacklight that's on all the time and one thing that I feel like Those kind of not talked about too much is the type of lighting we use on investigation So black lights while they are used, you know on Different shows to find disgusting things in kitchens and houses or in video games people think you can see footprints and handprints of ghosts I haven't seen any of those yet, so hopeful maybe one day But we can see a lot of our equipment actually really easy So if you've ever had a blacklight and you kind of look at like highlighter on paper or anything like that It makes it pop off the paper really well So are those devices with little red meters or Ravens Divining rods that have low glowing tips we're able to see that in the dark without blinding everybody in the room Which is super super super important another light I use pretty often this young huns is just a red colored light it's from a dark room I'm so that way you also don't blind yourself because maintaining your night vision your personal night vision not like your cyborg night vision Whatever people might interpret that the mean is super super important because if if you see something really bright And then as your eyes are readjusting you're going to start seeing shapes as the shadows kind of fade in and out Pareidolia will set in people can start feeling paranoid when they they quickly go from bright to dark So my my rules for for flashlights are a can't be super bright I do keep a super bright one on me just for safety in case you know somebody falls or you know What's going on doing on it for outside and you see far but mostly keep one that's just like a nice dim light You know enough for you to see in dark or near pitch black conditions And that's really all you need also make sure you don't get one a lot of them these days You have to cycle through a bunch of modes and one of the modes is always some like strobe flashing mode Yeah, it's a struggle my my dad beamer has a lot of those and I have banned them for months because I've applied it too many times But I really like a lot of your most important tools we talked about like you can have your phone But your eyes and your ears are the two most important things that you need when you're ghost hunting So get a nice flashlight that's not gonna blind you and preserve your eyes because you need them absolutely And I just want to kind of kind of piggyback on that a little bit I started carrying a black light when I went ghost hunting because I worked in the observatory when I was in college first time and I use the blacklight just for what you were saying was because you don't want it when you're out looking at the stars You don't want to ruin your your light vision You know because as soon as someone turns on a flashlight boom you can't see anything for you know 15-20 minutes And then you know being able to see my equipment you know glow under the blacklight better than it glowed under a white light Was just kind of a oh, hey cool. So also whiskey made some modifications for you on your gloves Yes So if you remember several podcasts ago Emmett told us about flashlight gloves and I would thought that's fantastic I'm always digging around for my blacklight. I'm always having somebody hold it And I forget who I gave it to or I put it in a different pocket I spend I spend half of my ghost hunting searching for my blacklight So I bought just regular light gloves because I felt well that's fantastic because sometimes I don't have a brighter light And you're trying to go down So kind of describe these these gloves are kind of partial gloves and they've got lights towards the end of them on a couple of fingers Apparently they're supposed to go on the thumb and finger, but I got fancy and put them on my pointer finger and pinky And whiskey thought that was pretty impressive.
He was highly impressed by that Flabbergasted one of the two I don't know but we're gonna go with impressed But they just there's just a little button You push it and you've got I feel like spider-man with finger lights And I thought you know what because they were just white lights and I thought I know whiskey can like one's for me And so he did so I actually have two pair now. I have one pair So I'm gonna have a white light on one hand That would be cool. So anyway, thank you. It did make their debut.
I think I was called anything is your mom's house that they made their first I think it was parents And you can tell people have fake teeth with black lights So come on a public hunt and you have a teeth and we have black lights out. You don't want to know. Don't smile, you know You know, we don't have a good time guys People fart in a thermal camera too, so Okay, I will know What else can you guys learn with your cool tools? We know everything One other thing about night vision little tangent here But you can never go wrong with pirates Pirates with their with their patch.
It wasn't all the pirates had their eyes poked out They use that to preserve their night vision They go down into the holes of the ship because they didn't have electric lights or very much lighting down there And so when they were up on the deck in the daytime, you know They're bright lights and they could go down and take that patch off and that light would or that I would be You know ready for the night vision and they could see down in the very They had a day vision eye the night vision. Yeah, so everybody thinks oh the patches were for you know because pirates always got their eyes Boaked out, but that's not the reason. I thought you were setting up for a dad joke No, no, no, I'm like where is the are in there? Oh and one more thing while we're talking about pirates and weird things that they do Because I know we're on a tangent.
Can you what can I tell this? Yeah? So my son who collects Bibles because you know there's lots of different versions of I was out there He collects all the different versions for Christmas. I got him a pirate Bible It's just it's the King James version, but they've run it through AI and it cranked not everything in pirate talk And it is the most hilarious thing you've ever read if you've never read the King James Bible In pirate talk you have not lived you haven't lived it's good.
It's fantastic We should maybe read a couple of verses one of it is it is right here. You tell your pirate story I'm getting my Bible. Okay, so my pirate story my next pirate story And this has to do with you see some of the old pirates and they had you know kind of the caps kind of like the beanies That we were kind of like the ones that that that moons has been worked on I've been working on them by myself actually that moon's been working on and you know how you got the little the little puffball on the top moon They're my favorite yes, how come? Just cuz they're cute.
No, it's a little extra bounce, right? No, that's not what they're for they're head clearance so that when you're down in the hole of the ship It's like cats whiskers that they that's what hits the thing first and you know not to go and knock yourself with it So those little puffballs that we think are fashion statements were actually tools to help people down in the dark that they would be able to Not bang their head on things because they got warning that you know the ships down in the halls were really short And even though the people were short it was pretty well done So that's that's why we have puffballs on the top of our beanies is because of pirates I'm not sure how this turned into the pirate podcast, but last pirate thing and then we're gonna go on to the drug door But here we go. I actually found a story that kind of talks about earlier in the podcast We talked about you know bringing home artifacts shouldn't do that you really need to leave them there unless you have permission to take artifacts And this is a story about an artifact that was taken and caught not to have been taken I like using that word alt makes me sound fancy sound like you're great aunt So there's this grandmother this was back in the in the 70s and She went to a Peruvian burial ground and this is told by her granddaughter and This granddaughter she says her grandmother lived with them and she says growing up There had always been paranormal activity in the house and the paranormal activity that they had was pretty normal You know occasional footsteps or a shadow sometimes a light would turn off a non nothing that bothered them Yeah, they were fine with it. I don't know that they ever had investigators come over I think they just knew that there was ghosts in the house and they didn't do anything horrible so all is good So this the scrambler she said when she was eight she went to the Amazon with her aunt because her aunt and her grandma Love to travel and they were traveling so all the time and this time they took they took this girl And they said they went to this burial ground to know that the granddaughter didn't go She was back at the hotel but aunt and grandma went to this ancient burial ground came home You're talking about their day and we ate here and we saw this and oh, yeah, we got some souvenirs So grandma went to get her back and out of her purse. She pulled out a hand Okay actual skeletal hand that she found at this graveyard just sitting there and Who does that? I know and the granddaughter's like who does that?
You know literally the granddaughter said she thought it would be a good idea to take it So the aunt freaked out understandably and said that's gotta go back mom. You can't be bringing people home with you So I guess the next day they went they talked to their tour guide like hey, we need to go back to that Norel ground and I don't know if they said yeah, we accidentally brought a hand home I don't know if they pretended to loose I don't know what they told him but he takes them back to the graveyard They somehow put his hand back but damage had already been done So one of the things that happened almost immediately was the grandma developed nail fungus And it was only on her thumbs and big toes it wasn't anywhere else and nobody else in there because they were like in a group Nobody else in their group and got it and they actually had made a couple friends I don't like you've ever been on a like a bus tour to another country But you kind of get to be friends with a lot of people on your bus and you know They actually kind of kept up with a lot of people and none of them have ever had ever gotten this nail fungus When I jump in as a nail tech yes, so a lot of old people do get no fun This is on their toes and their hands just because their age and all that They just aren't well taken care of and trimmed and things like that So it is common for older generations about 16 older to be getting fun. This is so then she says the nails crew in thick and yellow I'm kind of a brown I've seen no fungus before that's what it looks like I haven't had it but I've seen it They said that nothing they did ever got rid of it no medications No treatments they tried to get rid of it for years it never everyone away She says the other thing that happened was the activity in their house change They were used to minor passive ghost stuff didn't bother them They were used to it had their whole lives But she said as soon as they got home the activity in the house like Tenfold, you know multiplied and they said it wasn't just more it was evil it was dark They said rather than just a light turning on her little noise here and there they said that the energy in the house would change And it would feel physically dark you would be filled with dread They said that their dogs would go crazy and their dogs had never gone crazy before with the activity in their homes They said sometimes it was physical and they said that this entity stayed with the family for 30 years and several moves And it only left when grandma passed away So some of the activity that they said they had they said it wasn't long after the trip to the Amazon But the grandparents had gone to church and this little girl was home along so she would have been probably 19 She said she was just gonna do anything playing with the record player She said suddenly she could feel a presence She said the air became heavy and it felt like she was being covered in darkness and she said all the sudden Unblue like a light switch turned on she was suddenly scared out of her mind She said she looked around she couldn't see anything and she said this thing happened over and over again It never happened to her before and a thing that kind of builds on this She said the grandmother would often see something running into her room And she says I always knew when grandma saw this because she would call out to me You know kind of you know what they raised like an inflection in her voice You know not like and I don't know her name as all this the first day that comes to my head I'm saying Amy it was kind of that Amy. Yeah, is that you and also not even this questioning But with an edge like she was scared and hoping that it was her granddaughter And she said after grandma would kind of call out her name Something would always get knocked over or move in her room or she could feel something sit on the bed if she was on the bed And then the dogs would go crazy She said that she was pushed off her bed a couple of times and she came out of the room screaming That everyone kind of brushed it off and her grandmother told her one day what she thought she saw and she said The thing that I'm seeing is half man half goat that's going into your room She said sometimes she'd make up in the middle of the night feeling this dread She said she felt like something would be on top of me holding down and trying to strangle and she says now I know what you're gonna say you're gonna say it sleep paralysis and she says I'm I've looked it up She says I've read about it.
She says I'm the kind of person that tends to debunk things before I you know Jumping I believe that she says it's not sleep paralysis She said I could actually see what was holding me down and she could feel it She says with skeleton but bony hands around her neck and this would only happen to her when she was at a grandma's house It wouldn't happen anywhere else she says one time she was watching her grandmother from her bedroom window and grandma was in the backyard You know just doing some yard work and she saw her grandma get pushed The question which which half was man in which half was goat did they specify? They didn't it just said it just says the description my grandmother gave this thing was half man half goat That's all I mean top goat for sure. I mean if it was the other way you're going to Narnia I feel like you know, right? I don't know that being said we did a residential I actually was unable to go in this one but Wisps did a residential several years ago and we've talked about it a ton where The homeowners found goat tracks under the windows But there's just two not four just just two footprints like a goat stood on its hind legs in the snow by their window But there was no other person around so it could have been bottom half goat top half man It was good a bit of fun strange could have been learning You know the last story she really tells us just about having to go and turn off the light in the back room When she went down the hall she just felt a very heavy presence So it sounds like it's pretty creepy As soon as grandma passed away it stopped and the granddaughter said that she had a couple bad dreams about it You know after the grandma passed but never experienced anything again, so You know curses a lot of people don't leave curses are real They're absolutely real and we don't know what curse was put on this bone or if it was just the spirit of the person Extremely unhappy that it was gone, but don't take artifacts from places So the takeaway is don't take away.
