Devils Therapy
from Books By James Bryron love Hosted by james Blanchette
Somewhere in Europe, in a valley that doesn't appear on any reliable map, a priest named Paul has been watching the same fight every Saturday night for seven years. It's not a remarkable fight anymore. Nobody wins. Nobody loses. Nobody can even remember why it started. The only remarkable thing about it, if you think about it long enough, which Paul has, is that it has been happening every single week for over a thousand years and absolutely nothing has ever changed.Until Paul decides that something has to.What follows is not good triumphing over evil, or evil triumphing over good, or any of the things you might expect when the Devil shows up in your cemetery on a weekly basis. Two ancient enemies. Folding chairs. A therapist from Munich who did not sign up for this. And the genuinely terrifying possibility that the solution to a thousand year supernatural war might be the same solution as everything else.Nobody wants to talk about their feelings.Unfortunately for everyone involved, that might be exactly the point.
