Sometimes people said you've to just do whatever your company wants you to do. Yeah, it could makes you be someone important. But you don't know that for sure, right? We don't have any control of that. Only the company does. So that's why I think its good for you to be firm on your stand or belief. Mine? I want to focus myself on React framework. Both for web & mobile app. That's why I won't do any Java code for desktop app. And might also won't do native android app using Java. That's not what I'm trying to aim. The reason is because even if I've to do that, it's not that they will pay me more, right? Same salary for more jobs or more techs to learn. Just know that we are replaceable.
