Devo Stack Example with Proverbs 9:11

Scripture Stack Good morning [your name] and welcome to your daily Scripture Stack. Did you stack yesterday? If no why not? If yes congratulations. You are building momentum in your spiritual walk. What scripture are you stacking today? Why that scripture? What is your current method for choosing your scripture? (Scripture of the day, Today’s Proverb, random, reading plan, etc) After reading the scripture over a few times what stands out to you? Or what do you notice? Good. Anything else? Okay, now go back and read it again. But slow down. After reading it again, spend 3 minutes meditating on Gods Word. | | | | | | | Okay. Now that you have spent time reading the scripture, and have gone back and meditated on the scripture answer the following... What lesson do you see being taught in today’s scripture? How does this apply to you? How would following/living this change your life? What action can you implement starting today? What action are you committing to do by the end of the day? Good. Now slow down again and let any anxiety or feelings of rushing to finish go. Take a deep breath and relax. | | | | | | | Okay. When I say go, I want you to set your phone down, close your eyes, take one more deep breath, and talk to God about today’s session. 3 2 1 GO. | | | | | | | | | | | | Good. You are now ready to start tour day. See you tomorrow {your name}.
