Dhikr - Du’a - Day of Arafat (Hajj) - Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayka Laa Sharika Laka Labbayk
from IslamPodcasts.com · host islampodcasts
The full Talbiyah declares: “Labbaik Allahumma labbaik. Labbayka la shareeka laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk. La shareeka lak.” Meaning: Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Indeed, all praise, all blessings, and all sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner. Reflection: More than a chant, it is a declaration of Tawheed, submission, and loyalty to Allah alone. It reminds the Ummah that all praise, blessing, sovereignty, and authority belong to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. From an Islamic and ideological perspective, the Talbiyah calls Muslims to live as one Ummah, reject all partners with Allah in worship and rule, and carry Islam as a complete way of life.
