DHS colluded with DOJ and FBI to protect Hunter and hide the FD-1023

from The Alan Sanders Show

Today's show opens with two back-to-back letters from the House Oversight Committee. The first reflects six new subpoena's to the Department of Homeland Security, four for documents and communication and two for two Secret Service Agents. Additionally, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) sent another request to the National Archives after discovering Eric Schwerin, long-time Hunter Biden partner and the money guy, emailed the office of the Vice President with suggested talking-points about Hunter being on the board of Burisma. Then, in a reply later that day, they are told that the "VP signed off on this." I know it's so hard to keep waiting on these committees to do something more than write letters and demand more documentation. But, I remind you, they will only get one crack at this. It needs to be an air-tight case against the Biden Crime Family, or they risk letting the Legacy/mainstream media paint this as a nothing-burger. Both Rep. Jim Comer and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) feel as though the House will need to more toward an impeachment inquiry in order to add more weight to what they are doing, which, traditionally, has been key in getting assistance from the judiciary. The remainder of the show is dedicated to discussing more insights gleaned from that recent FOIA request by the Heritage Foundation about the correspondence between the US Attorney's office in Delaware and the Department of Justice. Margo Cleveland discovered an email thread related to how the NY Times was used to spread the false narrative that Rudy Giuliani was the sole source for the Hunter Biden investigation. This, as we know now, is patently false. We know, thanks to multiple whistleblowers and the existence of the FD-1023 form, the information was initially corroborated by the FBI office in Pittsburgh. They said they told David Weiss's boss, Lesley Wolf that there was enough credible information to warrant further investigation. Yet, somehow, David Weiss was not made aware of the FD-1023. So, if Lesley Wolf knew of the FD-1023's existence, its sourcing to a "highly credible confidential human source,' and that several of the elements contained in that form had already been confirmed before being handed to her, why didn't she move forward with it? What happened to it? We do know Weiss and his team was fed the false narrative planted in the NY Times, but what happened to the FD-1023? This also begs the question, who was involved in telling the NY Times the false narrative? Who gave the order to plant the false story and then who was asked to bury the existence of the FD-1023? As frustratingly slow as this investigation seems, we do need to let them root out as many of the bad actors as possible. We all need to write our representatives and encourage them to utilize the tools given to them in the US Constitution to close the purse strings and keep demanding oversight in order to rein in the blatant and pervasive corruption within the agencies of the Executive Branch.
