Dhurandhar

This episode, we switch gears completely and review Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar (Uri: The Surgical Strike). With a massive cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun, Dhurandhar is a sprawling, intense, and brutally violent political thriller loosely inspired by real events. In this episode, Sravan and Tarun discuss: Whether a 3.5-hour runtime is justified Ranveer Singh’s performance vs his real-life persona Why the film is technically excellent but emotionally draining Comparisons to Chhaava and Animal The violence, pacing, rewatch value, and chapter-based structure Why this works as cinema, but not as comfort viewing This is one of the better-made films of the year, even if it’s not one you’ll rush to rewatch.
