カレーは、作られたあと、だいたい冷蔵庫に入れられます。食べる場所でもなく、作る場所でもない。時間をまたぐための場所。多くの料理にとって、冷蔵庫は少し居心地の悪い空間ですが、カレーだけは、なぜか自然に収まってしまう。完成していても、まだ途中。途中でも、そのまま成立している。今回は、冷蔵庫という場所から、カレーが持っている「止まれる強さ」について考えてみます。
