The government has been criticised for sluggishness, vaccinating only 7,000 people so far. Germany—despite administering around 266,000 shots—has also been accused of slacking. Germany extended its lockdown for a further three weeks. 法國 (政府) 宣佈消防員、50歲以上的看護員以及 75歲以上不住在養老院的人等將接種新冠疫苗。(法國) 政府因行動遲緩而備受譴責，迄今為止僅給七千人接種了新冠疫苗 (法國總人口約 6,700萬)。鄰國德國雖然已執行了大約 266,000劑的疫苗施打，但也受到批評 (徳國總人口約 8,300萬)。德國將其 (現行之) 封鎖措施延長了三個星期。 2️⃣Covid-19 in Japan: Yeltsin Effect 2.0? 日本新冠疫情：另類的葉爾辛效應？ Hakuho Sho, the highest-ranked sumo wrestler in Japan, tested positive for covid-19. Japan has allowed sumo wrestling to continue in recent months, amid relatively light coronavirus restrictions. But yesterday the country recorded its highest-ever daily levels of new infections (4,915) and deaths (76). On Tuesday the index rose by 1.9% on Monday’s level, surpassing 5,368 points and up by more than 50% from a trough in March.
