低智商的人是如何思考的?

from Quora Selected 附导读

How does a person of low intelligencethink?R.Eric Sawyer, Christian, B.S. Psychology 1978I used to work with a fellow witha pretty pronounced physical limitation, on an overnight shift in a positionthat required a good bit of physicality. In truth, he was my"helper". Johnny could do only about 70% of what an able-bodiedperson of his size could do, and so most people thought he was a liability totheir work. But here's the thing: Johnny gave that "70%" every time, every task, every shift. You got it all. I have supervised trainees in asimilar position, some very athletic, one raced motorcycles - he was a child ofthe owner before we went corporate. These people who would rank at100% to 110% of normal ability sometimes needed to be searched for when therewas work to be done. Johnny was looking for work to do. They were giving halfwhat they could. I would rather have Johnny's 70% any day, than half of theother guys 100%. I would be some 20 points ahead at the start. In my experience, low intelligence v. highintelligence sometimes works the same. Give me someone who is "not sobright" but is interested and engaged, trying to think things through, wholistens carefully to everyone; give me that person every time, in place of thesmart guy who thinks he is such a genius that he has nothing left to learn, andeveryone should listen to HIM.
