Dia De Los Muertos at Venice Bakery and Restaurant

This weekend is Dia de Los Muertos, a Mexican celebration that honors and remembers deceased loved ones. Every year, family and friends come together to create an ofrenda, an altar decorated with candles, photos, and foods that were meaningful to those being honored. Venice Bakery and Restaurant, a family-owned business in Palms, decided to do something special. They've dedicated their altar to people who've died in immigrant detention centers.
